The Pacifico Crepe is one of the most delicious and satisfying foods I have consumed recently. Food is meant to satiate and sarisfy and the Pacifico does that. This is the second time I have gone to Dolce and I will defintiely be back. The folks who work there provide fantastic service and the cafe is very well designed. Cute little coffee place! I got a dirty chai latte which is like a chai latte but a shot of expresso. I thought it had great flavors or chai and the kick I needed in the morning. A gem of an Italian cafe right in Northern Liberties. Great coffee and excellent breakfast sandwiches! Came here on a Saturday brunch and ordered some of their signature breakfast sandwiches, espressos and pastries. I ordered the Americana which is a bacon, egg and cheese with roasted red pepper and creamy tomato spread. To tie all of the yummy flavors together, I added avocado. And by my first bite, I knew this was my new favorite breakfast sandwich in the city. My cappuccino was the perfect pairing to their soft Maritozzo bun that was generously filled with a decadent cream filling. By the end of the meal, I was already thinking about which of their pastries I wanted to try next, so we ended up bringing some home. My eye caught my favorite dessert, Tiramisu, and I was sold on their large slice of homemade Tiramisu which was super tasty and a bang for my buck. Although the cafe is a smaller space, they offer plenty of seating (which we didn't have any trouble scoring), as well as outside seating during the warmer months. The staff was attentive and helpful in picking out some sweet treats. I wish I lived closer, because this would definitely be my go-to cafe. Can't wait for my next visit! read more

Walked over to Dolce & Caffe with a friend to get cappuccino; while there we looked at the menu and decided to try their Parm Siciliano Panini. Panini's come with salad & olives on the side. This panini was so perfect & Delicious! It's was a thin chicken parm with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and the creamy basil was just perfection. Cute spot and friendly staff. Dolce & Caffe is a nice vibe in Northern Liberties and is a relaxing spot to grab fresh coffee or a cannoli. I decided to finish up a book I was reading here, as it was quiet enough to do so and their food was made fresh from the kitchen. With plenty of options for food and drinks, I didn't like the cannoli as it was cold and was a bit old, but I'm sure their other options would have been decent options. I ordered online as I walked through the neighborhood without having seen the place. I was pleased to find outdoor tables where we could sit with our dogs and eat our breakfast sandwiches. Was in Northern Liberties at around 4pm, waiting to kill some time before heading to an appointment and decided to stop by Dolce & Caffé. I was a little disappointed that the kitchen was closed already by that time! (I'm reserving my 5 stars because I would like to try their kitchen prepped food.) The only things they had available were their pastries and desserts. I decided to have a little snack and ordered a hot caramel macchiato and a mini chocolate dipped cannoli. The barista was so nice and she told me she tried to not give me so much foam. :) I love cannolis and the filling was delicious. The shell was a little too crunchy for my preference but it was still good and I recommend it! Overall, a pleasant experience here. The cafe was small, but clean (even the bathroom!). There is a reason why everyone give this cafe 5star rating, coz it deserves it :)....a true gem in Nothern Liberties. We were here on Saturday morning for brunch. Ordered their breakfast crepe and California crepe. I loved my breakfast crepe, perfectly sweet and savory. But when I tasted California crepe, it just blew my mind. Their pesto sauce was amazing. And the entire crepe tastes so good. Well if that's not enough then try their macchiato coffee. Super delicious. It's a small cafe and has a hip ambience. They have music playing in the background and wifi. The staff is friendly and courteous. Looked like a women-run business. All were very nice and helpful. YAY!! One of my favorite coffee spots! The flavor is banging, the service is great, and the vibe is so hip and fun. The drinks are handmade to order, and my go-to is an Iced Dirty Chai. The baristas are precise in their craft, and it shows in the quality of their drinks. In addition to banging coffee, espresso, and cold brew, the pastries, cookies, cakes and gelato are drool-worthy. It's a bright and airy neighborhood café, and totally a place I would hang on a rainy day. When the weather's right, there's sidewalk tables for enjoying your drink in the sun. My absolute favorite cafe in all of Philly! I even make sure any hotel/airbnb I choose is close to this place. First, the menu is great with a lot of fun coffee drinks that you won't find in a typical cafe. Nutella lates and Creme Brulees lattes and a whole bunch of other stuff. For hot chocolates, you pick the chocolate and they melt it in front of you. The food is great too, and we buy a whole a bunch of pastries to go when we can. Their crepes are tasty and I haven't tried their paninis yet. Pre-Covid, they had really good hours too. I tried this place for a quick brunch takeout. By far one of my favorite brunch places within the city of Philadelphia. Coming here the second time was not the best since they do not offer dine in due to COVID. However, the food was still great. My time here was exceptional as I ordered the Italiana. This was one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches. Don't get me started on their crepes. They have astounding variations for the crepes such as a PB & J crepe and even a Canoli crepe which was my personal favorite. They also have a few options for unique toasts and also have a wide variety of coffee. The staff are also great here as they are so welcoming. While visiting my hometown for some exceptional cuisine we encountered an Espresso cafe that really surprised us with delicous food and wonderful coffee! We ordered a Torino Panini , a Breakfast Crepe, an Egg & Spinach with Cheese on an English Muffin, and wonderful Avocado toast with Prosciutto that made my tastebuds sing!!!! I was pleasantly surprised that all of their cannolis are filled to order, and they are absolutely WONDERFUL. They are super crispy and light, and I highly recommend. Filled croissants missed the mark for me (in our case, almond and pistachio), the dough was oddly different than the plain croissant. Too..doughy? Lacked the crisp layers. I've only been to three countries in my entire life -- USA, Canada, and Italy (Rome to be exact). Let me tell you, based on the month I spent in Rome, this place made me miss Italy! Firstly, it is really authentic. Both the workers actually speak Italian, and it appears to me to be a family-run establishment, although I'm not positive. The menu had a good selection of genuine Italian content (obviously mixed with American content to appeal to a greater audience in Philadelphia). There is a grand selection of Nutella based items, similar to what is found in Italy! I got the Nutella iced latte, and it was great! It has genuine Nutella in it, not some substitute or off brand version. The woman working the counter was kind and quick, and the selection of drink sizes was good (16oz or 20oz). It is kept clean and the interior is decorated really interestingly. The main giveaway of its authenticity is the fact that it labels itself as an 'espresso bar'. This is found throughout Italy, but scarce in the US. I personally am not the type to order just a shot of espresso, but I would not be surprised if the espresso were authentic, as everything else here is. It could benefit from some music playing, but that definitely isn't a dealbreaker for me. They were pretty busy when I first walked in, but the seating was abundant enough to support all customers. 5 stars, would love to return again and maybe try a pastry of theirs! read more

This place is amazing, a hidden gem in Philadelphia for excellent pastries, coffee, and lunch items. I recommend coming here if you want to catch up with friends over coffee, have a nice lunch by yourself or with friends, and just experience a really nice vibe. The shop is clean and very inviting, and the overall feel of the place is positive. I recommend trying their desserts, especially cheesecake varieties and the cannoli. There's true passion this place emits. Wow, such a beautiful cafe. As the owner noticed me placing my book bag on the floor, he got up from his conversation and offered me an extra seat to place the bag on. I headed to the counter to place an order for a large 16oz coffee. Just as I settled in to the chair, the server brought over the coffee to me. You don't get that kind of service in every cafe, and what's better was the unexpected gesture. I didn't add anything to the coffee before tasting it, and it needed nothing added. The coffee was perfect. Bold flavor, perfect temperature, not bitter, nor sweet. Funny thing is I'm still here finishing some of their cookies, and thinking about getting a second cup of coffee. read more
