The Fitzgerald's, Scott and Cathy are PHENOMENAL folks and KILLER Chefs to boot. I called them at around 1pm, in an attempt to book the truck for a few hours. The catch was.... I was trying to feed a film crew of 60+ in just about 12 hours, meaning we were hoping to have the truck land at our "event" at 1am ready to serve. AND THEY KILLED IT! From the limited prep time, to the ABSURD hour we wanted to have them come by, it was a BIG ask.... for sure. It was amazing. Truly amazing. I dont know how they put together a full menu to feed 60 folks at 1am with next to no prep time but they did... and it was next level good food!. The quality alone was notably through the roof. Top shelf sausage was in the jambalaya. Farm fresh veggies in the quesadillas. Every dish was made to order and was highly above average tasting. Their sparkling personalities were only overshadowed by the food! I cant recommend Fitzys Fork enough. But do me(ok them) one favor. Give em more than a 12 hour heads up. This was by far the largest and best made cuban I have ever had in my life. Fresh and delicious. I could not possibly give a review worthy enough regarding quality of food. After a last-minute cancellation by our original caterer for a company party, I reached out to Scotty Fitzgerald of Fitzy's Fork in the Road after reading many great reviews. He was friendly and professional on the phone, responded to my emailed questions very promptly, and came through with a fantastic menu within 2 days of the original call. They gave us many choices for our menu, and even offered to do something special for one employee who must stay gluten-free. The food was delicious (our staff pick seems to be a toss-up between the Cuban sandwich and the beef on wick, although the cajun chicken sandwich and the turkey BLT wrap were also terrific), everyone associated with Fitzy's was friendly and professional, and we couldn't have been happier with the quality of the food. Literally the worst place to buy food when at soccer tournaments. It's too busy for this small truck so the waits are usually 40 min long (or longer!) to get your food after paying, the food is too hastily made because of the rush of people ordering so it ends up not cooked all the way, and the staff are rude because the people who have ordered are getting rightfully impatient. Either step up your staff, get a bigger truck/workspace, or stay away from busy functions because you cannot handle the business in these types of settings. If it was just once then id assume it was a bad day for you...but its consistently crappy. read more

Fitzy's Fork in the Road catered our big post-wedding picnic celebration and they were nothing short of amazing. They were flexible and creative in developing a custom menu for us, which was not only affordable, but delicious. At the party, they arrived early and cheerful, despite the rain, and set up shop. It was sweet to see their whole family working together, laughing and chatting with guests, and overall, serving up a variety of awesome sliders. We had pulled pork, veggie burgers, roasted veggie wraps, buffalo chicken and blue cheese burgers, as well as chicken skewers and chips and dips for apps. Everyone left sated and happy. I recently hired Fitzy's for my wedding. I loved the menu choices and the planning with them went very well. I am not one to bash local businesses but I am so overwhelmed by the lack of professional I feel that I need to warn others. The food was fine, well stocked and served, the plates chintzy but even that is not an issue. The issue was with our bar. We paid a lot of money for 4 hours of beer wine and soda. Soda ran out before dinner was even served. We were not made aware of this until after the wedding and we were never apologized too. One of our white wine selections also ran out. I am appalled as I had children in attendance that the soda ran out. When we attempted to come to a resolution afterwards, we were met with excuses and blame. Now I am left with the embarrassment of my guests thinking I was too cheap to provide a decent bar service because Fitzy's couldn't get their act together. I got NO RESOLUTION at all after going back and forth with the owner. Overall I am left feeling embarrassed and like I didn't get what I paid for. read more
