If you have been watching tv, they are advertising Five Below with all of these wonderful Halloween decorations. I got really excited and decided to see for myself. Save yourself a trip, unfortunately they have a few rows of Halloween merchandise, but nothing like the commercials. You can find a better selection at your local CVS. I will give kudos to the nice sales staff that tried to help me find some fake spiders. They don't have any. But, they did make the effort to check for me. The merchandise available was a low price, but so was the quality. So, I won't be checking back there. Shame on you Five Below for advertising all of these things that you do not have in your stores. I love Five Below, but it's sensory overload! So many rows, with items jammed packed in. It's no longer "everything is five dollars or less". Some items I looked at didn't have a price marked, so I passed. I also passed on this SPAM ornament because I'm not Hawaiian where this is a staple. I only left with a giant bag of gummy candy for my students because I'm just that sweet. read more

The stars go mostly for the nice employees here. However their helpful employee. Their products with the expection of candy is poor quality. Phone accessories are majority for Apple phones.... Boo. However if you do buy them, the charging cord wears out fast. I say it lasts less than 2 months. Phone cases are cheap. Phone holders for the cars, cheap. However they will accept returns as long as you have the packaging. Clothing is cheap!! The tee shirts fade and wear out. PJ pants, they pill and rip. However if you need candy for a movie night, this is your headquarters for it. If you need accessories for Android, it's best to get it elsewhere. read more

Their prices have gone up a bit. Prices aren't as reasonable as they used to be. Really bad customer service. I asked if the correct price had been rung in for something. Sales woman didn't know how to look at the computer screen to verify. She called the manager who didn't know either. It was weird. Everything here is $5 or less, for the most part. Usually go to this store for candy, DVDs, cell phone cases, screen protectors, and USB cords. Pretty good selection they have. Only problem is, sometimes young teenagers get in the store and make a lot of noise, running around. And if the store is very busy, the cash register area needs more than 1-2 people if the line is long. Besides that, it's a good store to buy some inexpensive items. read more

Great and very affordable selection of toys, accessories, art supplies, candy, etc.! Since everything's $5 or less, you can buy big bags of candy here for a reasonable price. They are constantly changing their products to match the season or latest kids' movie, so it's a great place to browse even if you don't plan on buying anything. The newest layout of the store added more displays near the checkout line, so it is harder to navigate through. Also, do not buy the makeup if you have sensitive skin!! read more

I've been looking for a dollar store in the area for the longest time. NONE close enough to my liking. Until my sister told me about a Five Below in the Kentlands! I was so excited! I finally went to check it out after work last night and it's like an upgraded dollar store! So you pay a little more but it's more organized, cleaner and they don't sell weird stuff as some dollar stores do. The most you could spend per item at Five Below is just $5! so why not? :) They have a wall full of fun looking board games for just $5. I think it's pretty cool to stock up at home for parties or great gift items! Overall, I'm cool with this place. You may just find some cool items for $5 or less! :) read more

I come to this location all the time and I still will, ONLY because of convince. But this location has become terrible recently. Yes, the lines are usually ridiculous because of a lack of employees but MORE IMPORTANTLY so much of their consumables are EXPIRED!! BEWARE! I have gotten bad ice tea, MOLDY beef jerky and more from this location. I don't know if management has changed recently but it's really bad now. And they don't seem to care a bit! Also, I went today and always use credit to check out and it wouldn't let me pick the credit option anymore, I had to use debit which I don't like to use. This store has so many items that are five dollars or below as the name suggests. It's a great place to get gifts, makeup, books, school supplies, candy, and many other things. Their technology section has a lot of items that would be $20 plus at any other store but are five dollars there. If you're looking for chargers, adapters, phone cases, kindle/notebook cases and any accessories for iPhones, iPads etc. it's a great place to go. They also have some of the "as seen on TV" items for only five dollars. I am always in that store for longer than I expected (so much to see) and usually end up spending more than I intended but getting much more than I would at another store. read more

I been shopping at the store for a while now. I always have to get a phone charger because they don't last long. When I recently went back to the store the prices went up. The store should be renamed if it isn't Five Below. Now all the electronics is above $5. This is misleading to customers. read more

I've always gone to this location it's literally a 10 minute drive. all the times that I've gone I've always gotten shitty customer service I haven't been back to this location in over a month but because that was the closest to where I live and I was in a hurry I went there and I'm at WOW! The cashier was super helpful this afternoon. I picked out a little soccer ball for my nephew, I felt that it was kind of flat but I didn't really care because it was cheap. At the register the young lady offered to pump up the ball for me! I didn't even know that was possible. Just the fact that she offered that and went the extra step meant so much to me. After she pumped up the ball it was perfect and definitely a good deal for $5! Thank you awesome cashier lady you made me and my nephews day! read more

I LOVE FIVE BELOW! But this location is horrible. It is always understaffed and it takes forever to check out, it is always dirty and unorganized, and the staff there is rude and ghetto. The manager is horrible and yells in the store about her life. Customers do not need to know about how much you hate other people....I recommend going to the Germantown location off of Middlebrook over this one. read more

Five Below is great, I don't come here often but I usually come to get a football or something for a day or two when I'm hanging out with my friends in the market square. The staff isn't that helpful but it is easy to find what your looking for. They should keep a certain kind of ball one day they will be great the other there all flat. read more

OK LET ME JUST START OFF BY SAYING: if i could rate this as a zero, i would. i hat e this store with a burning passion i go to extreme lengths to avoid any visits there whatsoever but today i was dragged into that sorry excuse of an establishment... the 1.9 lbs sour patch kids were in this wheelbarrow, and i had to DIG, like some kind of savage, ravenous animal, to find one that was NOT watermelon flavored. and upon finding the regular sour patch kids, what do i find?? a bag that is supposed to be filled with sour patch kids I GUESS that literally looks like a demo from those shitty space-bag vacuum storage infomercials. the sour patch kids?? legitimately COMPRESSED into the bag like a ROCK. as a test i smacked my friend with it and a bruise formed shortly thereafter. and they tried to sell this to me. for five. dollars. five of my good, hard-earned tender, legal notes, for a no good brick of invert sugar and corn syrup in a vacuum insulated bag. i had to dig, AGAIN, for another five minutes until i found a SLIGHTLY better bag and as a result i wasted at least ten minutes of my precious time that i will never get back. i wish i could say this was the end of my god-awful experience but it's funny how it was not. i get in line to begrudgingly pay for this consumer-swindling product and there is this lady in front of me who has a shopping cart--LITERALLY full of items. it was the only counter open. to make matters WORSE, it was like this cashier was intentionally trying to scan each item with torturous, eye-gougingly slow movements ok LITERALLY AS SLOW AS SHE CAN GO OK. there is literally another employee behind the other counter just STANDING THERE, doing NOTHING to attempt to help me such as opening up his counter. nope. he just stood there. it took at least another ten minutes before it was my turn to ring things up, another ten minutes of my life which IWILLNEVERGETBACK i would literally pay yelp to allow me to rate this lower than a one read more
