This behavior made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome, to the point that we decided to leave without completing our shopping. If she was worried we were stealing she could at least be less obvious about it. I hope management addresses this situation so that all customers are treated with respect and made to feel welcome in the future.

Just a coment on a previous review I read recently where the person was complaining that staff offered to bring her stuff to the registers (she felt they thought she was stealing or something). No. They do it to convenience you. I have experienced it. Further, I had an armload of stuff yesterday. A staff member kindly brought me a basket b/c she saw it was a bit of too much to carry. I was pleased. Another great thing is that they let you use MULTIPLE coupons! I had a little over a hundred dollars worth of stuff, and I saved $30!

Being that this store is a dollar store I don't expect it to be perfect, I simply expect a variety of $1 items such as hair ties, clothes pins, greeting cards, art supplies, etc. There were two young employees working during my visit. As soon as I entered the store I asked the young man if I needed a key for the restroom. He told me that I didn't and kindly gave me directions for getting to the ladies room. You have to go through a small area of the back room to get to it but the restroom was cleaner than I expected it to be. A bit later I was looking around for something I thought they might have and decided to ask the young lady if she knew if the store had any. She thought for a moment and took me to the aisle she thought it should be in. Although it wasn't there I appreciate her taking the time to help me. I selected a few other items and went up to the register. It took a moment for the young man to get back to the register when I got there but I was run out and on my way. I don't see the point in spending more than I need to on items that are not meant for long term use or end up broken no matter how much I spend on them. I always use this store as my first stop when throwing a party or hosting a holiday as well. I'm very thankful to have this store in my area.

They're way more patient than I could ever be. They're super helpful and always call me beautiful so I'm a fan personally. I do wish they had more on shift though. I'm always in line for about 5-10 when there but the cashiers move quickly so it's appreciated. There's a good selection and it's probably the most organized FD I've been to. Everything is easy to find and if not, again, the staff helps. Taking a star off because they never have bags. I definitely don't expect plastic, but I'm always willing to pay for a paper when I forget my reusable and they don't have any more often than not.

Plus she didn't stop there, after I asked her for her managers name. She said I would gladly give you her name and what I gathered was a Jessica. As I walked out the door she continued to talk to the other customers about why she had to speak up. What was even more agitating is as I was talking on the phone she was taking care of another customer in the line. She did not even have to wait for me. I was just passing time, even if my voice was loud, This behavior was both inappropriate, disrespectful and against customers privacy. I'm confident this is not a practice employees are encouraged when it comes to code of ethics with a Dollar Tree. As a loyal customer of Dollar Tree, I have always valued the welcoming and respectful atmosphere of your store. However, this recent experience has left me disappointed. Although the women's clothing section is lacking a bit. There are items for pets, toys and shoes. As well as a nice variety of items for the home. They even have some bicycles for sale. The store isn't big, but there's plenty of great merchandise. Parking is easy, since it's at a shopping center. The line to check out is typically quick. I'll usually walk away with a great bargain.

This happened not long ago, that the woman working in the jewelry and accessory dept. was absolutely hacking so loudly it was startling. She coughed for a really long time and was not covering her mouth. I immediately left that area and just went to check out. I very quietly told the woman ringing me up that the coughing employee sounds really sick. The woman started almost berating me in a loud tone, that the employee has asthma and she would never come in to work sick. Ok, but how would anyone know that she's not sick and actually has asthma? Also, she's still spreading germs by coughing without covering her mouth. The cashier kept going on and on aggressively that I just walked out. I appreciate people sticking up for their team members, but this is a completely different circumstance.
