Their strip mall also houses a Ross Dress for Less, a Marshall's, and an Aldi so it's pretty large. It's also relatively quiet whenever we have dropped in, maybe because there is also a competitive Walmart that is nearby and kiddie corner to it. This store also feels a little more dated and a little more disorderly than other Dollar Trees out there, but it will certainly adequately meet your Dollar Tree needs.

While we were waiting we checked out a few stores down the street from Discount Tires. I saw a Burlington store in the strip mall. I can't remember the last time I was in one. I thought they were a coat store. They have coats & so much more. Burlington has a ton of discounted merchandise very similar to the other discount stores that have been opening everywhere. Many of the big Deptartment stores like Carsons, JC Pennys, Sears & Macy's have either gone out of business or downsized considerably while Discount stores like Ross, Micheals, TJ Max & Burlington are opening everywhere.

This particular visit felt extremely difficult to navigate because it felt like there were pallets being unloaded onto the shelves in every aisle. Which felt strange to me on a Saturday afternoon. I appreciate Aldi for their salad mixes, grass fed beef, and affordable healthy options! My teenaged daughter will occasionally ask for their house brand BBQ flavored chips and I will pick them up because balance. I am happy they let the cashiers sit because the service is quick and I don't know what the point of making them stand at other stores is. The staff is usually efficient and kind! This was a use by date, not a purchase by date, so it had no shelf life. I thought any establishment would be embarrassed to sell a product 1 1/2 months after the expiration date. Now here's the problem. The Glenview store is 40 minutes from me. I am much closer to the Mt. Prospect store and I was under the impression that the Wild Fork sign on both stores means that they would both back up product sold by the Wild Fork corporation. Well Mt. Prospect wouldn't help me in any way since I did not buy the item there. Don't give me the "franchise" excuse.
