This is the worst five guys in the entire chain. Pure disorganization and chaos. One hour from closing they ran out of french fries. Long slow line and barely observing covid-19 safety precautions. Close the place down and replace it with a In-N-Out Burger. This five guys is the shame of the five guys fleet. read more

This is my favorite place for burger, bacons are lean and crispy, lots of condiments and no limits, if you asked for extra mushrooms, they will give it with no questions. Cajun fries are the best! Stuff are friendly. This is the only place so far that have an option tipping of 5%, most places, minimum of 15% But of course, giving 5% is not enough, they deserve more. read more

This was our first time visiting Five Guys and I'm happy to say it was delish. Located in the South Shore Shopping Center, surrounded by other fast-casual establishments with plenty of parking. If your friend isn't craving a burger, they have plenty of options to choose from (Pizza, Mexican, Sandwiches, etc). The menu is simple, and I loved that the veggies weren't extra upcharges! We both opted for a cheeseburger, each made our way, and a side or regular fries. Grab some free peanuts while you wait, watch them make the burgers inside, or grab a seat on the patio and do some people watching. Food came out within 5 minutes. We were both surprised by the fry amount; one order is enough to share. The burgers also come with two patties which we did not know. No complaints from us though (note: you can order the single patty burger option). Fresh veggies, juicy meat, with melty cheese. Yaassss! I'm just going to say it...I like this burger more than In-N-Out. What!?! One recommendation I would emphasize is to eat your burger as soon as you get it; don't take it home. The reason-the burger is juicy and the longer it sits, the more soggy your bottom bun will become. I am not one for soggy bread so I usually turn my burger upside down I will also say I was not impressed with the fries. They were good, but I prefer a little more crunch to mine. Five Guys serves a nice burger! For $11 you can get a "Little Burger" and fries, which is more than enough to fill me up. I ordered the fries crispy and they came out amazing! They make the fries using fresh potatoes (similar to In-and-Out), however, the fries here still have the skins on. The skins get deliciously crispy. When I ordered the Little Burger I was expecting a kids-sized sandwich, but it wasn't small at all. It was a normal-sized burger, about the size of a quarter-pounder at McDonalds. They have a list of about 15 free condiments that you can add to any hamburger. PRO-TIP: Ask for extra grilled onions on your burger. They are chopped onions that have been sauteed. Second time that I have been here and I was not impressed the first time and this second time. Would rather go to Scolari's, In-N-Out, Habit, even Burger King (Whopper), and McDonald's (Big Mac) before coming back here. Counter service was polite and helpful, although we had to clean our own table before sitting down. Ketchup and peanut shells on the table and one chair, not good. I don't like how in and out burgers are so paperthin and have no taste. As a transplanted East Coaster, 5 guys is still the #1 burger chain in my heart. I guess there really is a cultural difference between the east coast and west coast, can't believe this place only has 3 stars! Then again, people who review chain burger spots probably have something to gripe about. We got the junior burgers which are really just normal-human size burgers. Sure you can get the regular one but none of us reaaaaaally need two patties, do we? Large fries to share on the other hand, that's where you want to spend your calories. Usually we get an absurd amount of fries in our large at five guys. Here, we got an absurd amount minus 10% which is still a huge amount but not as satisfying. The totally was almost 12 dollars. The portions are big. Although they are "little" they are quite big. She didn't end up finishing everything. I love five guys because you can select whatever you like, mushrooms, grilled onions, after adding all those, the burger becomes pretty big!! The unfortunate part is that they do not have ranch. I absolutely LOVE ranch with my fries and unfortunately all chains do not have it. But they do have plenty of free peanuts! Came here today for lunch. Glad we did. Social distancing measures are in place. Floors are marked where customers should stand to order and pick up food, etc. plenty of signage. Greeted by friendly cashier. Ordered quickly and food was made to order. Took all of 10 mins and was delicious. I most appreciated all the staff, all wearing PPE, even the cooks had there masks and gloves on. Everything just felt really clean and purposeful. Would come back again and again simply for that. Ordered bacon cheeseburger with everything, no mustard raw onions. No pics. Just devoured. Fries were cooked a little dark and they are pricey - hence 4 stars instead of 5. read more

The burger: Five Guys serves a thick and juicy burger with great meaty flavor. The toppings: I always order the bacon cheeseburger all the way. I love the variety of toppings they offer. It might be messy, but it's a hot mess. The fries: I've never ordered a large fries, perhaps out of fear. The amount of fries they offer always amazes me. I especially like the flavor of the Cajun Fries. The shakes: I love peanut butter chocolate milkshakes, but they're often hard to find. The milkshakes they serve at Five Guys are great, which includes the ever-elusive peanut butter chocolate option! Came here today for the first time, and I know that it has been there for a long time; however, like I said, this was my first time there. I ordered my food online, since I was at work and the website was very easy to navigate through. I ordered a cheeseburger with eight different topping and a large cajun fries. My friend and I who was driving also ordered online, and when we arrived, we had to text them to tell them that we had arrived. After arriving into the restaurant, you have to keep six feet social distancing. We went back to work, and as always, the burger and the fries were excellent. The service was outstanding. I like this location for a quick bite since it isn't usually packed, even during peak lunch hours. Never had an issue with the staff, they're always nice and get started on your order right away. Finally, I had the chance to check out the Five Guys burger at this South Shore location. The location has ample seating inside and well as in their patio area. The menu board offerings include burgers, hot dogs, and grilled sandwiches and fries. The 100% beef with no fillers and preservatives is cooked "Juicy and Well-Done". Toppings? They're complementary and if you choose "All the Way", you get lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions and mushrooms, ketchup and mustard and if you choose "Everything", you also get relish, onions, jalapeno peppers, A1 steak sauce, BBQ sauce, and hot sauce. Came here for the burger and my order was: Regular Bacon Burger "All the Way" less onions - comes wrapped in foil. The buns do come grilled. The two patties were seasoned, but they were cooked "well-done" as advertised. Felt the beef was a little too well-done and the overall burger was on the greasier side. Regular Fries - Served in a paper cup, but you do get a large portion as a lot of fries were in the bottom of the brown paper bag of your order. The steak-cut fries were not seasoned with salt. So you need to add it on your own and of course dip 'em in ketchup. Overall, good burger, but I would say I've had better ones at some of its competitors. Ordered a couple of burgers and fries and some shakes. The food came out quick. There is a nice fire pit outside if you feel like going that route. We really enjoyed the flavor and the beef and all the toppings on the burgers from grilled onions to mushrooms. Did I mention how many fries they gave us? They give you tons!!! Burgers are hard to execute, and many places take the lazy route of serving up the cheapest meat available with lackluster condiments. It's hard to hide cutting corners in a burger; I'm frequently disappointed. Ditto with fries. So it's with some trepidation that HB and I walked into Five Guys Burgers and Fries. The first thing I noticed is the cleanliness of the restaurant and excellent attitude of the very busy staff. From the waitperson to those flying around tidying up the eating area, there's a pleasant eagerness that is refreshing to see. We ordered the Cajun fries and plain burgers with all the standard toppings. The fries satisfied; some were crunchy and others softer. Each of us found the kind that makes us happy. They were good plain, and ketchup and mayo just made them better. The Cajun spices were milder than I expected, bringing out the flavor of the potatoes without burning my mouth. A win. The burgers were pretty good. I still say that Super Duper has better-tasting meat, but these were better than okay. A pleasant surprise and I'd happily return. People need to cut new businesses some slack. They're new! I'm sure things will run a bit better after the initial rush dies down and they get a few months to smooth out the kinks. I've eaten here twice. Both times I ordered the little cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms and onions. Tasted pretty good to me. I liked the Cajun fries, though one of my sisters is unimpressed. She likes her fries on the thin, ultra-crispy side while I like mine meatier. The long lines go quickly and the staff is friendly enough and as efficient as they can be. Patio seating is nice on a sunny day. I've been asked to compare Five Guys to In-N-Out and I can't. Their burger styles are too different. I like 'em both. Size wise - This burger was gigantic, at least four inches tall, and we got the junior size, too. You definitely get your monies worth in calories. You can customize your burger with their selection of fixin's. However, don't expect the cashier to guide you in the process. They were a bit knowledge lacking (they couldn't even tell me how heavy the meat patties were). In our confusion we simply ordered our burgers "with everything." The meat patty was cooked well. The sauteed mushrooms added a nice texture. The fries are steak cut and a bit under seasoned. Just add ketchup. Like the burger, the fries are served in big portions. You know that feeling you get when you finish your fries and you wish you had more? At Five Guys, you just need to look at the bottom of your bag to find more fries!
