Been driving by for a while and finally stopped in. He's the park and ride lot by the Corica golf course for lunch (11-3) and across in Veteran's Court from 5-10. Single man operation. Ron's a real nice guy and fun to chat with. Had the cheeseburger and fries. Fries were great - not too cripsy, not limp. Reminded me of FiveGuys. Burger also was excellent. You can really taste his fresh ingredients. Since its a one-man operation ROn may not always be here if you come lookiing for him. Luckily I live nearby so I literally can check every day. Give Ron a try - you won't regret it.

Always pass by and decided to stop by on an afternoon and was glad i did. Ronald was truly a down to earth guy as most reviews mentioned. He gave an icebreaker that he's an Alameda native, DaBurger is his retirement enjoyment, he's very passionate about his ways in his Burger stand. They say if you really enjoy what you do, are you really working? Salute to Ronald. I ordered his cheeseburger, fries and milkshake. The burger was delicious with his homemade sauce, shake tasted great and not too thick at all like In n Out & Habit. He even said he made the burger just a little bigger because i look like a person who works out a lot. He definitely love his customers because he said I was his last customer before closing at 3pm to restock more ingredients for dinner but ended up serving one more customer after me anyways. Will definitely take my boys here one time for his shakes. Thank you Ronald for serving great burgers at a location anyone least expect it.

I kept passing this place and finally stopped, and I'm so glad I did. Ronald is awesome and makes good tasty burgers and fries. Ask to try his homemade chipotle may or special relish! He's currently parked in the commuter lot for lunchtime and over by the Harbor Bay Club at dinner time during the week.

Don't substitute convenience of location for poor quality and service. Terrible attitude, not great food.

Review is for the London Bus Burger, Louie Louie (soft-shelled crab) and onion rings! The Bureau 510 gets their burgers right: lightly seasoned, not overly handled so you can feel the wonderful texture along with some major juiciness. Also a big plus is their meat-to-bun ratio so you get a nice bite of burger with the sturdy yet soft bun. The Louie Louie looked amazing. My 2 friends ordered that and devoured. It was lightly battered, not greasy and a nice size. Onion rings were house-made and equally light with a beer batter. Delicious! Staff very welcoming, friendly and checked on us a couple of times. Menu has plenty of options to choose from. The Bureau 510 did a great job (has me craving more!) this visit so will definitely return to try items like the fish and chips, clam chowder and Chef Specials. Pricing is in line with other like places. Plenty of metered street parking. Another location in Emeryville I'll need to check out :)

Fowl + Fare operates from a small storefront right next to the Shanvi Indian Grocery store on Santa Clara Ave (near Broadway). This place is either takeout or eat outside on picnic tables. I took my food to-go. I had the Citric Hot Chicken Sandwich w/ Seasoned Fries. I liked the Citric Hot Chicken Sandwich. It was spicy, but not numbing hot. The slaw sort of smoothed out the spicy heat. It's made from thigh meat, so it's moist and easy to eat. I didn't like the seasoned fries. They cut the potatoes into thin fries that don't travel well as takeout. Probably okay if you ate them right there, fresh from the kitchen. If I go back, I'm just getting a sandwich.....no fries.

That was respectable and a nice gesture for the owner to tell us that. We waited about 40 minutes as dine in customers. The kafta burger I ordered was sort of dry and game-y which I guess was expected due to the lamb meat. The really disappointing thing I learned is that upon ordering two orders of fries, the owner put both of our fries portion and said "I put enough fries on one tray for both of you to share". At 12$ for two SIDEs of fries (shouldn't burger places by default give you fries as a side included with the cost? At almost 20$ per burger, I think that's completely justified), wouldn't you expect to get them in separated portions? The "two" portions we received was literally for one person. It was such a skimp. And the fact that the owner reused the same phrasing, it was the exact wording mentioned in the attached screenshot, made me realize this is not the first time he does this to people. It's like reading from a script.. The owner seemed nice but that was really sketchy and skimpy. Please do better.

We walked in without a reservation and were seated quickly. There was plenty of seating outside and a few tables inside; we chose inside. The atmosphere was lively but never loud! Everyone around us looked genuinely happy to be there. Service was a standout. Our waiter was attentive, fast, kind, and offered great recommendations without being pushy. Exactly what you want. Food: We started with the Corn Fritters and the Smashed Potatoes, both scrumptious, but the Corn Fritters were exceptional. Both came out hot, fast, and in generous portions. For our mains, we shared the Fried Chicken Sando and the Three Little Pigs. The Chicken Sando was phenomenal! I have not stopped thinking about it. The bun was warm, buttery, and soft, and the chicken was perfectly moist. On the Three Little Pigs tray, the pork shoulder was the clear winner: moist, beautifully seasoned, with just the right amount of fat. Really well done. The one letdown: the sausages and ribs on the Three Little Pigs tray were unfortunately quite dry, which was disappointing given how strong the rest of the meal was. The BBQ sauce was just okay, and the accompanying green salsa wasn't our style. Our bill came to $112 before tip; two appetizers, two mains, and an Arnold Palmer, which felt completely fair for the quality and portion sizes. We left stuffed and with a ton of leftovers. We will absolutely be back. Thank you, Spinning Bones, for making a special night even more memorable.

I ordered the spicy tingly beef noodle soup, the lamb in sauce dumplings, and the ruo jia mo stewed pork slider and I was also offered a bit of their liang pi cold noodle on the house which I commend on them for going beyond their service and hospitality. The noodle soup was presented so well and the dumplings sauce was so good that I poured some into my broth for extra flavor. The slider was so moist and fresh, juice was literally dripping off each bite and the cucumbers in it gave it a good crunchy texture. In the end I would come back anytime and order the same and perhaps try their malatang!
