However, some of my friends noted the high price point, where a single meal often cost $20, and the tendency for the fries to become slightly soggy. Unlike many city spots, this location features a dedicated parking lot. The patties are fresh and all toppings are highly customizable and prepared daily. The burgers are juicy, hand-pattied, never-frozen beef and completely customizable toppings. It is wrapped tightly in foil right off the flat-top grill, all the flavors and ingredients meld together, slightly softening the bun and creating a satisfyingly "sloppy" and savory bite. I enjoyed their free peanuts to snack on while I wait. They give generous portions of their boardwalk-style fries, which I consider one of the best available out there. Their French fries are thick-cut, skin-on, and cooked in 100% peanut oil. It offers a soft, fluffy mashed-potato center enveloped in a slightly crisp exterior, aggressively salted, and served in massive, overflowing portions. Because the chain pours loose fries on top of the food in the paper bag, they often steam and soften in transit, so it is more advisable to eat the fries at their place rather than getting it to-go. read more

I went to Five Guys for a grilled cheese and fries, and honestly, the whole experience was frustrating from start to finish. First off, getting there was a hassle. The parking lot is currently under construction, so it felt like a maze trying to figure out how to even access the location. You have to go all the way around to the parking garage and then walk down just to get inside super inconvenient. The only good thing it was clean inside. The service was just okay. It seemed like they weren't getting many customers because of the parking situation, which might explain the lack of energy, but it still felt pretty blah overall. As for the food, it was disappointing. The fries had no flavor at all, and the grilled cheese had a strange smell that immediately turned me off. Definitely not what I was expecting. Haven't had 5 guys in a while so stopped in here before catching a movie! Menu is simple, straight to the point - you can choose from a regular or little burger (cheese, bacon, bacon cheese burger), hotdogs, sandwiches (veggie options) & then regular or Cajun fries in 3 different sizes! They also have a variety of milkshakes to choose from! I got a little cheeseburger ($9) & a regular order of fries ($6). I'm glad I went with the small - it was more than enough & the regular order of fries was pretty big as well! As always, they have peanuts on the side for you to grab as a snack which is one of my favorite parts! Staff was nice, place was fairly clean & food was pretty good! Whenever I'm in the mood for a burger, this is my go-to spot. I always get the double bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions & mushrooms, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Their delicious cajun fries pair very good with the burger. Their is pretty good, the workers are very nice and polite. I'm a Cali girl living in NYC. I crave In-N-Out Burgers from time-to-time and it gets crazy sometimes. Especially when I realize that I forgot to have some after visiting CA because I was busy being a fatty elsewhere, thought I would always have time for In-N-Out on the way back. Well, thanks to Five Guys, I can totally over-kill my craving because the style is very similar. The price range is definitely not similar though because Five Guys are at the high-end, averaging about $6-7 per burger. Adults may prefer regular burgers where kids are recommended with "little" burgers. You can add toppings that you like! They also do extra toppings without extra charge. Five Guys have juicy, moist burgers with Belgian/potato wedges style fries. They also have a self-serve peanut station(?) where you can eat some peanuts while you wait for your order. The Five Guys at the Bay Terra location is pretty spacious and clean. They only have 2 bathrooms (not gender neutral) where you can expect some lines for the women's bathroom. The soda machines are located at the restaurant side where you can refill your drinks. But don't bother, you'd be full anyway. read more

Just beware that if you go during lunch hour it can get busy like it did with me but the food was well worth the wait. Food: I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it comes with a double patty of meat and a small Cajun fries which is seasoned with, you guessed it, Cajun seasonings. I hadn't had 5 Guys for a while, so when I was driving by, I stopped in. There was only 1 other customer in the place. When I said I was eating in, I was asked for my vaccine card & ID. No issues there. I don't like it, but it isn't their fault, it's the idiot mayor and his henchmen. What IS their fault is cranking up the music volume while your cashier & order taker is masked. It's tough enough to understand what a masked person is saying, but when you combine it with too loud music, it's damn near impossible. The burger was ready in decent time. The burger was fine, but truthfully, I wish 5 Guys allowed burgers to be cooked to a customer's preference. I'm not a fan of well done burgers, probably why I don't eat at 5 Guys more often. I used to crave Five Guys all the time when I was pregnant. Their burgers were hella good from what I remember, I haven't eaten beef burgers since I changed my diet to mostly plant based. I found out they had a vegetarian option, really just all their veggie toppings in a bun, pretty boring. It wasn't very good at all and I'll probably never order it again. The fries and complimentary peanuts were salty but good. The rest of my family enjoyed their beef burgers so Five Guys is still a great option for meat eaters, just not vegetairans. Ok, where do I start. I was craving for a burger and decided to go to Five Guys. When I placed my order, there were workers in the back goofing around and talking over and around the work station while prepping food. Not only that, one of the employees took something that was meant for the garbage and threw it attempting to aim it at the garbage, instead it landed right on the grill while the food was cooking. I was on my way to the airport and decided to come to this location for the first time. First of all to find it was more like a maze, it was a mini mall with many name brands and the logo was placed in the middle of a second floor wall. I went around the parking lot looking for the entrance but no chance. I decided to ask a foot locker worker outside and he told me I had to drive in a parking lot and go to the 2nd level. Ounce there the parking was easy I go inside very huge place ma y seats around a free peanut's!! Ounce I order I notice a lot of flies just flying around. I go into get napkins and ketchup their was flies at the counter and also flies when I set down. I've always disliked the decor of red and white tiles here. It's actually kept me away. I do like the music here, though, and my wife & kid request visits here, so I'm back. This is a new Five Guys, and a pretty nice location. It's located on the top side of the Bay Terrace Shopping Center next to the new Tony Roma's and the cinema. It seems to have not garnered a lot of attention yet, as the two times I've gone it's been really empty. The staff seem to be trying to prove themselves by acting super friendly and opening/closing the door for you, and coming around to your table to see how things are going. The food is on par with Five Guys standard and this location even offers two fountain soda machines along with that cool four way iced tea machine. Parking should not be difficult in the huge lot in front of the place. read more
