If you're craving fast food but don't want it it bad unhealthy, this place is the healthier alternative. They have large portions of chicken that are juicy and crispy. I recommend their Super Chicken Sandwich, Fried Chicken Leg, Special Chicken wings, and if you're really hungry, try their paprika Fried Whole chicken! Their service was also surprisingly fast especially since I ordered for a large group of people. I would definitely come back again.

Food was served fresh and hot. The wings and the chicken slab in the chicken burger were veryyyy juicy and well seasoned. I think it's dark meat in the chicken slab . The French fries were hot and have a nice crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was good. Only complaints are that the tables (there's only 2) in the restaurant are VERY rough looking and the place has a noticeable smell of oil, but that's to be expected at a place like this and they seem to attempt to control it with a long wall of fabric between the kitchen and counter. I wish there were places to stand and eat. Will come back if I pass by again.

Crispy, juicy, and flavorful chicken. Crunchy and tasty fries. Holds well over delivery, didn't end up soggy after a 30 minute travel time. Sandwich was not as crunchy as Popeye's, but better than the other chains, including Crown and Kennedy. Estimated time was 20 minutes to prep but it took longer. The soda in the combo is a can. Nevertheless, a good option if you're looking for better-than-fast-food fried chicken. Worth.

So omg, the chicken isn't a joke here! it's mouthwatering and absolutely delicious! The size of the chicken cutlet alone is enormous, i had to cut it in half and save it for the next day! I was confused with the menu, i think there's an innocent language barrier. I thought the fries with cheese was cheese fries, but it's mozzarella sticks. Either way it was very good but didn't come with any dip, that's a big deal for me. The operation itself has some work to do with properly naming the menu and getting the order to print correctly. I was given the wrong order when i came to pick mine up and he gave me the right order but with the wrong name.

Amazing service. I try the sandwiches and nuggets and are very fresh and delicious. The prices are really good for the amount and quality. I really prefer now PAPA chicken then McDonald's. And it's just crossing the street. Help new businesses on the neighborhood.

Pricing is cheap for what you're getting. Spent $24 after taxes and credit card fees and got the combo for 2. We got it for take out and they were pretty fast. Chicken is tender as well as flavorful. Cheese sticks are kinda mid so just don't get them. Take out tends to get soggy so just be aware. Other than that pretty enjoyable. 4.4/5.0 star experience Tip: don't get sides if you're going to take it to go and eat it hours later

In search of lunch time eats while at work I decided to be brave and check out PaPa. I have passed this place going and coming from work and was curious to see what the chicken was about. At first it appeared to be very similar to the Korean Fried Chicken spots, but its Chinese style fried chicken. I yelped the reviews and there were high praises about the famous "paprika chicken sandwich". I decided to go for it. The menu here is very sparse. Basically chicken cooked your way ( roast, fried - wings, sandwich and wrap). Fries and onion rings. I was disappointed in the side dish options. My coworker and I were famished so he chose a chicken paprika wrap and I had a chicken paprika sandwich with onion rings. The food was prepped fresh so we had about a 10-15 min wait. Service was great. We sat down and listened to some Chinese rap which was very groundbreaking for me. At one point we thought it was Altlanta rappers The Migos. The vibe of this place is very modern style Chinese takeout. Many Yelpers have referenced this place as a typical chicken spot in China. Reminded me of the ambiance of a Korean chicken spot I love. I definitely want to visit China and see for myself the comparison in the near future. ( need to work on my Cantonese and mandarin first --- any volunteer tutors ?) The paprika chicken burger arrived on a soft fresh sesame bun. The chicken had a little spicy kick to it and was topped with a sweet mayonnaise and lettuce. The chicken breast was breaded just right. Crunchy and crispy. It was very comparable to KFC's crispy chicken sandwich. The onions rings were too breaded and oily. Standard. Nothing more to write home about.

HIDDEN GEM ! Hands down the best burger I've ever had in nyc in terms of price and quality. Honestly nothing beats this. I was surprised when I tried the popular Popeyes sandwich, which doesn't even compare to the paprika chicken sandwich at this spot. Idk what the hype was about.. The sandwiches here are huge, fresh and super juicy. Totally worth the price. The flavor is also super savory and sweet. With a bit a spice! I love how affordable it is as well. I usually go with my bf for the 2 people combo. Which is two paprika sandwiches, four sides and two sodas. For only $22 We've always order 4 paprika chickens for the sides. They also deliver around flushing.

The best chicken sandwich ever!!! Me and my family always get the paprika chicken sandwich, it is always so juicy and crispy. The chicken always is too big for the bun, which is great, the perfect ratio. Ever since I was introduced to this spot, I have not gone anywhere else for a chicken sandwich. I recommend calling before hand to place in order because it can take time depending on how many you order. The service is great, they always ask how many people will be enjoying there meal so they can put in utensils accordingly.

    FRIED CHICKEN FROM HEAVEN.

This place is goddamned amazing. It's small and the music is a little too loud but the chicken more than makes up for it. I ordered the chicken wrap and it was freaking amazing. LOOK AT THE PICTURE. Large strips of chicken breast (not tenders. actual chicken breast) in a piping hot flour tortilla. The spiciness had a kick but it wasn't overwhelming. It took sometime for me to get my meal but it was worth the wait. They cook their meals fresh on the spot. F*ck KFC. F*ck Popeyes.

The space inside is pretty simple and minimalistic -- clean, modern, nothing overly fancy. It feels like the kind of place you pop into when you're craving a good burger without making a whole production out of dinner. They focus on smash burgers, so you get those crispy edges with a juicy center, which is always a win. Everything is 100% halal, which I appreciate, and the menu has a few fun options like the Jalapeño Thrill, Garlic Mushroom smash, and even a Morning Flare burger with a fried egg and beef bacon. There are chicken and veggie options too if that's more your speed. I kept it simple and ordered a burger with fries, and it really hit the spot. Nothing overcomplicated -- just a well-made burger, good flavor, and fresh ingredients. The kind of meal that feels satisfying without being too heavy. Overall, it's a great casual stop in Bayside if you're near the train or just looking for a quick halal burger. Perfect for a laid-back weekday meal.

Actually checking out the inside it turns out it is a smashburger place that is reminiscent of the burgeoning 7th Street chain that is popping up everywhere. What I appreciate about this place is the menu has more options than 7th Street. Listening to my buddy Billy C who capitalized GARLIC MUSHROOM burger in his review made me intrigued, He was totally on the mark with this - I loved the pile of garlicky mushroom sitting on this burger. We paired this with the loaded fries which made a good shareable meal since we were not too hungry. Like 7th Street, Mexican coke is available if that is your thing. Other burger options include kimchi, jalapenos and fried egg in various configurations. Again like 7th Street, decor is unremarkable, but at least they have seating unlike most of the stand up tables in most 7th Streets Overall, this is a solid Bell Blvd option that should continue to thrive despite the dwindling bar/drinking culture that used to dominate this area.

We order the 2999 which came with two chicken burgers, five piece, chicken, two sides and four biscuits. If you can imagine the juiciest chicken burger of your life it's made here. The chicken was so juicy, and you can tell that the fibers came from the chicken itself and not something that was made into a patty . The biscuits are the best biscuits I've ever had ever in life. It taste like if someone's grandma from the south made it. Sides: The mozzarella sticks are great, however, don't expect any marinara sauce, but trust me you won't even remember that you needed it. The sweet potato fries are great. To note : the service is a little bit slow, but... once you taste the food, you'll understand that they took their time with it and you won't even be mad that they took that long so just account for the time. I also had their lemon drop green tea and while it was really good it was too sweet for my liking . It tasted as if there was too much syrup in it. Otherwise it's tasty. Will I come back here? Tteokbokki is considered street food and its literally rice & fish cakes. And they give you 3 pieces of ginmari. No reason it should be $19. Then for rosé flavor, which is literally just adding heavy cream to the sauce, is an extra $6. Then we ordered the 10 wing + 5 drumstick combo and we asked for half/half sauce assuming half of the 15 pieces are one sauce and the second half is another sauce. First off, they charge you $2 for sauce, which is fine but tell me why they charged us $2 FOUR times. So $8 total for sauce bc they separated the 10 wings into 5 and 5 and put one sauce each and they charged $2 each for that. And then they separated the 5 drumsticks into 3 and 2 and put one sauce each and charged $2 each for that. So total for 10 wings & 5 drumsticks was around $44. I've literally been to every korean fried chicken place on northern blvd and never have they separated the chicken like that and charged the sauces that way. Like why are you charging us for sauce 4 times when it is one single order of chicken. Never coming back here. Its a legit rip off. On top of that, they charge you for to-go containers, which is free at every restaurant. They just charge you exorbitant prices for literally every single thing here. We spent $85, not including tip, on tteokbokki, 15 pc of chicken & an order of fries.

The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.
