Small French Fries
Tina S.

When you order a small fry Togo...and u get home and this is your fries..and no it's not from any spillage in the bag this is just how an employee decided to work today..rob me of my proper small fries. I do NOT appreciate this Wendy's.

Rude manager. Blames not being able to hear me on his own equipment, refuses to follow up with Wendy's ownership. Also, fries are obviously fried multiple times to "refreh" them from being overhead, the taste of fried salt is unmistakable, especially when combined with heavy grease stuck inside potato . The lettuce on my sandwich was rotten as well.

No one to take orders, working very slow. Rude staff.

Ordered in store at 10:28am but i didnt get my order until 10:45am. There were no lines, not crazy busy at all. I ordered a fries and a sandwich nothing complicated.

First time at this location and it will be the last. I never experience really horrible and slow service at a Wendy's establishment. There was only one cashier and I counted like two other people in the back...very short-staffed since it was also a drive-thru. Nice Wendy's added a Crispy Chicken BLT to the 4 for $4 menu...I ordered that for my dad and I got the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger then replaced my drink with a Vanilla Frosty. I didn't get a receipt because she didn't bother to tell me the receipt machine was broken after I asked for my copy. Wow the wait to order vs the wait for your food is ridiculously long and slow =( The cashier was putting my order together and kept forgetting to give me a cup for my dad's beverage and my Vanilla Frosty. Finally we got our food and the temperature of the burgers was cold. Are you kidding me...I waited more time for a new order of the burgers while my fries and nuggets were getting cold. I can't win even when I sat down to try to enjoy my food. The burgers seems to be the ones that I told the cashier about which the staff probably microwaved because the lettuce was soggy not crisp...SMFH! Not once was anyone apologetic.

Raising Cane's keeps its concept incredibly simple, focusing almost entirely on chicken tenders,…read morefries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and its signature sauce. We walked into a bright, clean, and energetic space with a fast-paced atmosphere that reflects how popular the chain has become. Even with a line forming at the counter, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the operation felt well organized considering the volume of customers coming through the door. The dining room has a casual, functional energy, the kind of place where the focus stays on getting a satisfying meal rather than lingering, and the open kitchen adds a layer of transparency to the process. We went with one of the tender combos, which is really the reason most people come here in the first place. The chicken tenders were juicy, freshly cooked, and had a crispy coating that held up well without feeling overly heavy. The coating had a good crunch that stayed intact through the meal, and the chicken itself was moist and tender throughout. The real standout, though, is the Cane's Sauce. It adds a tangy, peppery flavor that works perfectly with the chicken and honestly ties the entire meal together. Between the tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, it is a simple meal, but one that is executed consistently well. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are solid enough to hold their own alongside the main event. One thing we have noticed is that the chicken can occasionally feel a little greasy depending on the visit, especially if you are ordering a larger combo. For some people that may not be an issue at all, while others might find it sits a bit heavy afterward. That has varied from visit to visit, but it is worth mentioning because the meal is definitely on the richer side compared to some other fast food chicken options. The coleslaw provides a lighter contrast, though it is a fairly standard version of the side and does not stand out the way the chicken and sauce do. The staff during our visit were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was well maintained. Food came out quickly, and despite the limited menu, there is something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing one thing rather than trying to offer dozens of different options. The simplicity of the menu makes the decision process easy, and the consistency of the meal across visits is a big part of the appeal. Raising Cane's delivers a satisfying chicken tender meal with quality chicken, a great signature sauce, and consistently solid sides. It may not be the lightest meal around, but when you are in the mood for crispy chicken tenders and a straightforward comfort-food combo, it is easy to see why so many people keep coming back. The meal is familiar, filling, and hits the right notes for what it sets out to do.

The decor is so cute and I love how each canes location has decor relating to the local area. The first box combo comes with 4 tenders, Texas toast, fries, and a drink. You can swap out the Cole slaw with more Texas toast or fries. I love how filling it is and when we got the fries, it was so crispy and fresh. The chicken was a good texture, but I you definitely need to eat it with the canes sauce to get flavor from it.

Upon arrival, I genuinely thought the place was closed--everything looked grimy and unsanitary. The loaded fries were decent but noticeably small for the price, presentation was just OK . Since I love hot chicken, I wanted to try this local spot that advertises itself as Nashville style. I recently had Dave's Hot Chicken so that's my comparison. This business actually used the Dave's stock images on their Yelp photos, so it's clear they are trying to emulate them. The chicken tenders are lightly breaded white meat that is in between juicy and dry, actually a little juicier than Dave's. The breading is light and crunchy, but not very flavorful. They deliver on spice though! I ordered two sliders: one medium and one extra hot. I will say their spice levels are accurately named. The medium was just a hint of heat, while the extra hot made my head sweat. The person working there mentioned they couldn't do two different spice levels for an order of tenders+side, but only if I ordered sliders+side. Really not sure why they operate that way since the chicken would be prepared the same way. They did write the spice levels on the inside of the lid to distinguish between the two sliders. The fries were just average fries with a hint of Cajun seasoning sprinkled on. I thought the potato buns were the right choice due to the fluffiness, paired with the light crunch of the chicken with the pickles and house sauce, which was a low-heat spicy mayo rendition. Not very flavorful. The actual interior was not the cleanest and it didn't seem very well maintained. The tables were not wiped down and overall seemed a bit dingy.

Everything is 100% halal, which I appreciate, and the menu has a few fun options like the Jalapeño Thrill, Garlic Mushroom smash, and even a Morning Flare burger with a fried egg and beef bacon. There are chicken and veggie options too if that's more your speed. I kept it simple and ordered a burger with fries, and it really hit the spot. The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.

The first step is to admit you have a problem. I've been a closet White Castle craver for years…read more(decades?), but I guess it's time to come out of the closet and into the light. I get the crave every once in a while and when it hits, you have to get some of those steam-grilled sliders. You can get frozen ones from the supermarket, but they're just not the same as going to the real magilla. This White Castle in Bayside is at the majorly busy intersection of Northern Blvd and Bell Blvd. There is a small parking lot with room for 5 cars plus 1 handicap spot and there is a drive-thru with the entrance as you come south on Bell Blvd. I usually like to go inside to order, but as we pull into our parking spot a see a white Mercedes pull in next to us and they order from the app as we go inside. We like the Bacon Cheeseburgers, so we get 4 of those along with 2 Fish sandwiches with cheese. We always get the Fried Clam Strips, but I was shocked that a sack now is $13.69, Yikers! It was a tossup between the Chicken Rings and Onion Rings, but we go with a sack of Chicken Rings, which was 20 rings for $9.29. They were surprisingly better than the ones we've had before with better taste and are thicker. There is also a new limited time menu item, the Fajita Chicken sandwich and it was probably the best thing on the menu. WC's chicken sandwich usually is one of their rings on a bun, but this is way better. It is a fried white meat fillet topped with jalapeno cheese and it tastes really good. For $2.99, it's a pretty good deal. Our order is filled in less than 10 minutes and we're back on the road going home to enjoy our goodies. The total order was $47.36, which is way more than any White Castle order I've had in the past, so it's no longer the cheap value meal it once was.
