Burgers are good. Fries so tend to be salty but it is heat or miss when it is. I have had pretty good service especially since you can see them making your food. Over all if you just ask for less salt on your fries or even no salt on your fries they turn out amazing! read more

Between the fries that were salted beyond the point of edibility (seriously, I threw them out) and the hair in the middle of two patties I feel like this place has completely fallen off. The value add used to be that it was a step above McDonald's, but with ludicrous prices and diminished quality it's hard to understand what would ever compel me to go here again. I love Five Guy's burgers. But this location was not as good as others. The floors were very slick and greasy. Tablets were not very clean. Soda machine had issues. My burger was just ok. I can't stand wet burger buns, so that disappointed me. However, love the location. Hope this helps. read more

Pretty disappointed in this location. I think a lot of people come out here for work and stay in one of many hotels in the cluster by Tiffany rd. Five guys sounded good after a 10 hour day so I headed out after work to grab a burger milkshake and fries. I am from the Toledo area and always, always love that location. Boardman had 5 people working and the service was very slow. I am not a service complainer most times because I know it's tough to get people hired these days but I waited 25 mins for my food. I was a walk in but walked in to 4 people waiting for food and no one at the counter. I ordered a peanut butter banana shake but they didn't have banana. I ordered a little cheeseburger and a little fry. It took 25 mins for my burger and Fry and sadly when I got it, it was not worth it. I watched my burger get thrown in a bag 10 mins into the trip but waited 15 for a Fry to be put in there and the Fry was over done and you could tell the oil was bad! There was one young gentleman who was very friendly, apologized for the wait to everyone and was so kind, everyone else was joking around and could have cared less about what was going on around them. There was no ketchup even know it looked like ketchup it was all mayonnaise. I'm just disappointed as ever. My meal was $16 so I expect something more desirable then a burger and fries from McDonald's. (2 stars only because of the one kid doing his best.) read more

let me start off by saying that I normally love five guys, I work extremely long hours and really wanted a good burger. I went to their website and was extremely excited to find that they offer delivery. I ordered my lunch, received a text message and email a few minutes later that my order was confirmed and that my order was going to be delivered by Uber Eats. a short, while later, I received another text that Uber eats had picked up my meal, and it would be delivered within 12 minutes. After an hour of not receiving my food, I called the restaurant only to be told by one person that they don't offer delivery on their website when I asked to speak to a manager manager told me that it was not their responsibility. It was a delivery companies, and that sometimes the delivery company drivers just steal their food. She said she would try to reach her DM and get me a refund. Try???? I asked to get a phone call from that person which I still never have. I called the customer service line, and of course the first person that I spoke to barely even spoke English and told me that they would take my report and get it to the appropriate people so I hung up and called back again, insisting to speak to someone who could help me, this person at least was able to issue a refund but no one can get the restaurant to remake my food and have it redelivered 90 minutes later, the delivery driver called, stated he was on his way with my cold food now. I asked him to take my food back to the restaurant, and have it remade, but he refused. He was extremely rude. And also refused to provide me a way to get a hold of Uber eats for assistance He showed up a few minutes later, slammed the food down on my receptionists counter and walked out, never even confirming if it was where I worked. Not sure where to start. We ordered it for dinner and had door dash deliver it. We ordered 5 bacon cheese burgers and two fries. Here is where it get interesting. The door dash guy call to inform us that our order has no buns. Yes that's right, no buns. He wanted to know if we wanted our order anyway. We were hungry we said yes. The burgers were delivered in tins without buns. Then the bacon cheese burgers had no bacon, and we only received one fry instead of the two we ordered. read more

I love this place. I might be partial because I LOVE cheeseburgers, but I don't even consider this a "fast food" burger, it's on another level. I only eat burgers typically once per week and every single time it's always this place no doubt. The meat is a higher quality than most places as are the fries. The only downside is this location doesn't have milkshakes but for me that's not really a big deal, but I know it could be for some people. My second time at five Guys . Tried Boardman and Austintown location. The fries were under cooked brown but hard. I told the cashier it was my second time patronizing the chain. The burger was bland with no seasoning. The mushrooms and onions were not seasoned. All young. People in restaurant working . When I visit again I am going to be very specific. Another thing instead of a large burger you get 2 thick burgers. Staff does not tell you that. read more

First of all the food is still amazing. Definitely the best fast food burgers around and the Cajun fries are a great option. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because their curbside option is a joke. When you order online it looks great and well orchestrated but that's not how it works. After following the online instructions, then calling, then waiting in my car for nearly 20 minutes, I had to go in anyways to get my food which was sitting there getting cold. If you don't want to actually do curbside then DO NOT make it an option!!! read more

Five guys has long been my go to stop for a good juicy burger with a solid assortment of toppings. The location on Market doesn't disappoint. In five or so visits I've always had good experiences, cashiers have been friendly and accurate. Cooks have been clean and orderly. There has always been someone cleaning and ensuring dining area is in good shape. The burgers are as good as all other Five Guys. Juicy without being greesy, Huge portions, just so good. Fries too are fresh cut and well cooked, you receive a bag of fries, just tremendous, and having malt vinegar available is such a great touch. Five guys has long been the best burger choice over casual restaurant (and way better than any fast food), and this location should be proud of how they represent the brand. read more

I have been to several Five Guys restaurants before including this one. I was not impressed this last time. I have gluten intolerance and always order my burger wrapped in lettuce. When it came, it was dripping with water on the outside and on the inside. I couldn't pick it up to eat it. The meat got extremely soggy and fell apart. The Patty was tasteless. What a waste of money. Our fries weren't hot. They also we're tasteless. No more Five Guys in Boardman for me! This was a pricey bad experience. read more

Great food, and the service is usually great. Make sure you come hungry because the portions are ENORMOUS. Don't order a large fry for yourself unless you think you can eat like 8 or 9 potatoes. One of the best burgers in the Youngstown Area, and definitely the best franchise burgers in the area. I recommend the double bacon cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and ketchup. read more

I have to say this is one of the best burger joints you can find around. These burgers and fries blow every fast food chain out of the water. Check your bags for carry out-my burger was missing from our order. I called the store, and the manager informs me that I can come back in and they'll make it-no apology. At this point we're past dinner and my young son is going to bed so that's a no go. The store can't even issue a refund. Stopped for dinner with a friend on the way to the Youngstown Playhouse to see their production of Cats. I'm guessing we arrived before the rush - about 5:30 PM and had our first "five guys experience." It turned out a little awkward because I was the person who suggested this place to my friend who was buying me dinner. I suggested it because I thought the prices would be quite reasonable but they turned out to be higher than I thought they would be. There's a slight disconnect when you stand in line to order and pay in advance what you're getting because it makes it appear similar to fast food so one may expect fast food prices. However this is not particularly fast food and it is certainly good food. If someone brought us the bill after we oohed and aahed about the juicy hamburgers and kiddingly fought over the order of amazing fries we shared I think we would have not thought twice about the price! Of course that suggestion runs counter to the way the joint operates... So bottom line the food is tasty and high quality but expect to pay about $12 per person for the experience. read more

Stopped to get a burger here 15 minutes after they opened for the day. Every table was dirty and every high chair they had was filthy. I asked to speak to the manager about it and she said the dirty tables were from the night before and they didn't wipe them off when they opened. (So those unclean tables sat like that all night.) She then walked away from me in the middle of the conversation and never came back. Another employee said she didn't care that the tables were dirty and didn't care if we didn't come back to eat here.
