Unfortunately, I was disappointed in my recent visit to Five Guys. The burger I ordered was okay -- cooked fine, but very light on toppings and condiments. But the service was terrible; I was one of four total people in the restaurant, but I stood in life for legitimately five minutes because the cashier was chatting it up with someone they knew. I was about to leave, but one of the cooks called them out and said they needed to stop talking and help me because I was waiting. It's crazy that a burger here costs $12-$15, and I can't in good conscience recommend this Five Guys location to anyone. read more

It so many people complaints in social media that this restaurant is overpriced. I didn't go there for I think 5 years. So I took small little fries and cheeseburger. Fries was over seasoned and super super oily. It was almost impossible to eat it. They put fair amount for $6 (it's overpriced for small fries). Super fries at Five Guys! The french fries are really yummy and fresh, being crispy on the outside while creamy on the inside. The burger was merely okay -- the bun fell apart really easily and wasn't that flavorful. I do appreciate the large variety of toppings you can add to the burger though! Note that the mini refers to just one patty vs. two. This location is convenient and the service was great. Stopped in here to get my regular order,Llittle Cajun fries w/ light salt grilled cheese, grilled onions, bacon, add a patty, lettuce tomato ketchup, (a banger composition) but, I wasn't feeling this particular location. Maybe because they were closing in 30 minutes, all the attention to detail went out the window, soggy, super salty fries and the burger didn't stand a chance against the clock winding down for that shit, it didn't have that proper press on the grill for any color or texture, or a lick of salt. This might possibly be the slowest Five Guys in existence. I've been going to this chain since childhood and I swear the quality of the food has gone down drastically over the years. Staff here is always great. The prices have gotten very steep, but that's not their fault. Unlike most fast food places they the staff here is usually actually working, and not goofing off and ignoring the customers. They have a decent amount of seating there, they also have a few public benches outside, if that's what you prefer. Overall, this is probably my favorite 5 Guys location. read more

I used to work in this vicinity, was hungry and stopped by to get myself something to eat, on my way to visit a friend, at my old job. As I placed my order, Ms. Chelsea, asked me if I was interested in any of the free toppings for my burger, so I chose a few. I admired the fact that, as I was waiting for my order, I saw Ms. Chelsea sweeping the floor, as well as making sure things were in order by the soda and ice machines, when no one was waiting to place an order. The music in the background joyfully time jumped and danced through the decades. I observed that when one of the young men on The Meal Expedition Productivity Team called out my number and prepared to hand me my order, he conscientiously offered me a plastic bag - just in case my meal was to go, in addition to the fact that it was pouring rain, outside. I was not completely satisfied with my burger, and asked Ms. Chelsea if I would be able to speak with a manager. She began to call Mr. Ted, but I could see that he was focused on keeping things productive. I approached him, called him by name and asked if I may speak with him. Addressing why I was not satisfied with about my burger, I also told him I wanted to give a good review. Mr. Ted, personally made my burger over, after he actively listened, made appropriate eye contact, provided service with a smile, and led by example for his entire team! He was right there working with the team he has the honor of leading! I complimented him on the streamlined process and teamwork that I could not have missed - even if I tried to! Today I was in the mood for a fast food (but not too fast) burger and decided to give Five Guys a go. Their $3.99 delivery fee is a little steep... but the food is moderately priced, so it was worth it. Delivery came quickly in about 30min. I tried the bunless, lettuce wrapped bacon cheeseburger and it was very, very good (the pictures don't do it justice). You can get as many extra toppings as you want, and it was a really well sized burger overall. If you need your burger fix, this five guys is a trusty option! read more

This 5 Guys is among, if not the best run chain fast food joint in Brooklyn. It's extremely reliable with hot fresh cut fries - real potatoes fried in peanut oil on par with upscale restaurants in Manhattan. Their burgers are fantastic too. Plus they have numerous fountain soda flavors including MANY calorie free options (CokeZero is my go-to - it's very hard to find in Brooklyn). Also on days like Easter when almost every other place is closed you can head here and find an open door. The restaurant is kept clean and employees are always friendly. Further they proved themselves elite for fast food in their pandemic response. EVERY time I've been to this location - EVERY employee has their mask on PROPERLY. They offer free toppings for the burgers (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, etc.) but I just kept light and ordered a small cheeseburger with lettuce. I've heard good things about their fries from previous yelp reviews, but unfortunately, I didn't order them. I opted for a strawberry milkshake instead, I believe they only have one size. Expect a bit of a wait around lunch time (they make it on the spot). It was a pretty solid burger. The meat was so flavorful and juicy, not chewy at all. Melts in your mouth. The strawberry milkshake has a watery consistency, but I prefer my milkshakes thicker. HOWEVER, you taste small chunks of strawberry throughout the milkshake, which I absolutely loved. read more

The downside of this particular place is that the online order estimates are usually off by five to ten minutes. I've had my order almost be on time once, but that was unusual. It's been significantly late every other time. I ordered my food through the online menu. I can tell you it worked out pretty well. The only thing is that I don't like how they serve their fries as they just what looks like they just take like three scoops and dump it into the bag with the cup after. Really? It got really messy when distributing out the lunch to my coworkers. Otherwise, the burgers are great, don't get me wrong. Don't expect service to be quick since burgers are made on the spot, so there is going to be a wait time. I extremely love five guys burgers since the meat is made fresh and is hearty, but not too much. Also, you can put as all the toppings you want on the burger at no extra cost! For a $6-7 burger, that's not too bad. If you don't like burgers, at least try the cajun fries! You can't miss it. For $3-5, a small fries is a lot. They fill up the cup and add extra to the bag. But, if you don't like cajun, there's always the regular fries. The fries taste better than fries at other fast food chains. One of the finest establishments of the century due to its myraid of options for the shake. My personal favorite toppings include doublestuff oreo, vanilla, and chocolate; MLK was also refering to a combination of these flavors in his I Have a Dream speech because he foresaw this goodness. The burgers pack a flavorful punch on the level of Muhammad Ali and the menu has options for double patties in addition to traditional burger toppings and seasonings. Last but not least, their earth shattering, heaven subduing, and heart stopping(I had a heart attack in the middle of eating but I had to come back to life to rate them on yelp) peanut oil fries. Only reason why I docked off a star is because they didn't include the hidden medical fees on the receipt after I finished this good ass meal that Ghandi would break his fast for. Smh, the individuals below me are complaining about the wait times but Noah waited 40 days and 40 nights to get a taste of 5Guys. When you order large fries, the employee personally makes eye contact with you as he scoops up 3 servings to bid your soul goodbye because you'll stop breathing after finishing them. I used to walk by this place and shake my head at all the people with their bags of grease, stuffing their overindulgent gluttonous faces..... Now I am one of them! After not eating a fast food burger for about a year (I love my arteries), I got a strange craving for a greasy burger so I decided to go to none other than Five guys. I usually get just lettuce and tomatoes, but hey.. its been a year since I've had a burger so I decided to take full advantage of their huge variety of FREE toppings which include grilled onions (yes please), jalapeno peppers, grilled mushrooms, relish, green peppers, etc. So I loaded it up with a bunch of things that probably made the sandwich much unhealthier than it already was. Hands down, best burger EVER! It was sooo good and juicy. It was like a party in my mouth. I was instantly upset that I order the "little cheeseburger" (which is actually not little) vs the bigger one. I am officially back to eating burgers. I tried the cajun fries which I didn't like. I thought they were gonna be similar to checkers or popeye's seasoned fries, but these were much too spicy for me. Slowest service ever! I went in tonight to get a small fry, It took 28 minutes (I timed it). I didn't order anything else but a fry and when I asked what the hold up is, a rude male employee replied, "we go in the order it was placed, however they were past my number!! Even if it wasn't, that just doesn't seem efficient. So when one of the other employees tried to make the fry, the same rude guy instructed him not to make that order (my order) and to complete an order way past my number. It was so incredibly unprofessional and not efficient what so ever. Next time I go to Shake Shack! Or the million other burger places in that area. read more
