Overall, the experience was just okay. The fries were extremely salty so much so that it took away from enjoying them. I ordered a hot dog, which tasted good, but for $8 it felt overpriced. The portion size was very average and didn't really justify the cost. On the positive side, the customer service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which definitely helped balance out some of the negatives. One area that really needs improvement is cleanliness. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time, yet the tables had not been wiped down. I ended up having to clean my own table before sitting, which isn't something you expect when dining out especially at these prices. Speaking of prices, everything felt a bit expensive for the quality of food being served. Unfortunately, that seems to be the norm nowadays, but it still affects the overall value. Manager Throws out Ex- Harvard Olympic Coach over unfounded -ADA violation The manager here mishandled a situation involving Dad's legitimate stroke service dog, she even refused to see ID when asked!!. 3 kids entered walking to the soda fountain, a child attempted to aggravate / came too near dog. The dog alerted twice (as trained), immediately retreated, and then sat calmly under my table with no further issue. Instead of addressing the child's behavior or asking about incident the manager confronted him even refused to look at the service dog ID, and would not allow any explanation--simply repeating that the dog alerted. There was no disruption and no ongoing behavior problem. This was a clear lack of ADA understanding and basic customer respect. Very disappointing experience. read more

After a long day of travel from Utah to Ft Lauderdale, Florida my family and I were very hungry and anxious to get to our hotel. When we looked at Yelp for suggested foods near our hotel the one that stood out was Five Guys, I made the walk from our hotel to this Five Guys location and placed my order. The person that took my order misheard me apparently because I had ordered some grilled cheese sandwiches for my kids but I was given patty melts instead. I did not say anything and took my food back to the hotel after about a 15minute wait for our food. The kids were sad when they heard that I did not get a grilled cheese but instead a patty melt but they ate the patty melts anyways and to my surprise they both enjoyed them very much. I also enjoyed my cheeseburger and fries. I don't get Five Guy often but every time I do I am always reminded how good it really is and this occasion was no different. Five guys is always a great option when you want to have a burger. They offer complimentary roasted peanuts while you wait for your order. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger and Little Fries. The burger was great and the fries could be a little more well done. Don't spend extra money on the large Fries, since they give you enough fries for 2 people on the Little Fries. My 4 stars is for the staff and price. I had to wait quite a bit for my order and the restaurant wasn't even busy. There were about 4-5 people working the kitchen, so i was a bit impressed with the amount of time it took to prepare my order. These burgers run on the expensive side. Let me set the scene: It's Sunday, on a Labor Day Weekend, and it's late. You're hungry and options are slim to none, and slim just left town.... Thankfully this 5 Guys was nearby, and open. The staff made this a 5 star experience as the burger is consistently delicious. The moment I walked in, a gentleman in the kitchen says hello! Then the cashier also greets me and patiently takes my order, confirming it again to make sure it was right. All around polite and friendly service on a holiday weekend and late. I know that sounds ordinary but it's not. I usually also get a strawberry shake but I opted to keep things light today. Just a Cheeseburger all the way. Five Guys beef is da Bomb! I remembered their delicious beef and how juicy it tastes, however, that was awhile ago when I used to eat meat. I came here with the guys for lunch ( I was outnumbered ) and everyone enjoyed their burgers from here. Their seasoned fries are amongst the best fast food fries out there, in my opinion and their ingredients are very fresh. I especially enjoy their endless amount of peanuts you can much on while waiting for your order as well as their fountain machine. My only opinion is that they could provide a veggie patty for their veggie sandwich on the menu. Something they could serve vegetarians that's hot instead of just a bunch of veggies between their sesame buns. Otherwise to that my family and friends especially enjoys Five Guys. The most dysfunctional staff I've ever seen. Nobody knows what they're doing. Every time I place an online order, I'm waiting an extra 20 minutes after my pick up time. I hardly had gotten through the door and was created by the entire kitchen staff and lobby/counter workers they were super nice and communicated what was happening with the order I was waiting on. I have never before been treated so well in any restaurant let alone a fast food restaurant. First the gentleman at the counter who took my order made sure to ask if we had any food allergies they should know about, then we took a seat to wait for the food another gentleman asked us if we needed anything while we waited, we politely declined. I had heard a lot of good things about Five Guys so I thought I'd give it a try. It was nice to have freshly done fries. They really are delicious, but as for the burger itself, a rather typical quick food greasy, and I do mean greasy burger at best. There is nothing special about them except maybe the grease which must have something to do with the fat content of their meat and my hope that it won't have anything to do with a rise in my blood cholesterol. Five guys is a great place for traditional style burgers that are inexpensive and juicy . the standard burger comes with two patties and you gotta get bacon on it. The fries are fresh and is the example of the perfect french fry boiled in peanut oil (my nephew could not come near this establishment do to peanut allergy's) They also double fry there fry's in two different deep fryers giving a great texture and comes overloaded in a large cup. I am not a burger fan, rarely eat them but wow, I am a fan now!! 5 Guys uses peanut oil and fresh potatoes (they have posted on a sign where the potatoes come from). In the middle of the store were bags of potatoes, boxes of peanuts and peanut oil. If you have an allergy to peanuts, don't go in. 5 Guys also offers bun-less burgers and hotdogs. Came here with my co-workers as a group of six, the staff greeted us as we walked through the doors which was very inviting. The staff didn't waste any time taking our orders and seemed to be on their A game. As the location filled with the lunch rush they continued greeting, taking orders and calling out receipt numbers for finished orders. After a short wait time of about 7 minutes my order was up and I was ready for that juicy Bacon Cheese Burger. Topped with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños and A1 sauce = (The Bomb Burger). Five guys definitely has the best French fries out of any of the burger places, the Cajun seasoned fries are my favorite. You better be prepared to share the fries because their large portion is just that - large. Overall a good meal that taste really good and you don't feel like your being cheated. The one bad thing is that don't offer any types of combos, so you have to order everything separate. I have been coming to this place for three years , i have to say that it has been going down hill.their burgers are getting sloppy and cold. Last time they could not get the order right. This time they did not want to make fresh ice tea.they told me maybe tomorrow not today.which is one of the reasons i stop there because of the Gold peak ice tea.
