This is the place to go if you want a legit burger. Hubby and I love to come here and always share a drink and fries as you get plenty in a regular size fry. My husband and I are long term customers at this particular 5 guys, have been for about 4 years. However, tonight was a terrible visit. I ordered our usual which was two cheeseburgers and a large fry. I immediately noticed how little fries were in the bag, normally I'm not one to complain but a large fry cost almost about what a whole other burger does so I expect a decent amount of fries. We always do to-go orders so upon arrival at home we open our burgers and mine is pretty much burnt to no end and is difficult to chew. My husband's is fine but I can honestly say we will not be returning to this 5 guys which is unfortunate since this is our go to place. This isn't our first issue with them the last two times we have had to drive back because they messed something up. I don't know what happened but I miss the old 5 guys, I hope y'all fix the place back up. read more

If you want a really good burger then this is the place to go. There burgers are seasoned very well and they are overly generous with the fries. A regular order of fries are enough for three normal people and if you eat the burger first probably four. They also provide free peanuts to eat while you wait or to take with you. The customer service was really impressive. The gentleman took my order but he did it in such a professional and courteous manner that I actually felt I had done something special. All and all a great stop for the people that want a better tasting burger then normal fast food places. read more

This is a fast food joint. Plain and simple. The food is good, for fast food. However, there are two issues I have. It cost me $12-$13 for a burger, fries, and a drink. I can go to a restaurant and have the same thing for less money and it be much better. Secondly, I don't need 2 lbs of french fries for a small order. Lower your price and give me a small order. I would pay $8-$9 for the meal but anything more than that is just too pricey for fast food. read more

I was first introduced to Five Guys when we lived in DC about a decade ago and just like everyone else, I loved it. Five Guys is a great burger joint and despite it being clean, having a solid staff at every place I've been to, having fairly quick service and being extremely tasty burgers, fries and dogs I cannot give it 5 Stars...and here's why. 1. Patties are a little small when cooked, they need to be 1/4 after cooking or close to it. 2. They always skimp on the jalapenos even when I ask for extra. 4-5 thin sliced jalapenos is not a normal order 8-9 (one pepper) is a normal order so extra is two jalapenos. Hey Guys, quit skimping on the peno's. 3. They don't have the mustard available...you have to go to the counter...that can be a wait when they're busy, which is all the time. 4. No good desert (can't help it I have a sweet tooth). OK I know some of those are pretty dumb but I'm sticking to my decision, 4.5 Stars (rounding down) = 4 Stars, sorry Guys. read more

Atmosphere is casual, nothing to write home about. The music was too loud for my taste. The burgers are some of the best you can get, period. You can throw on whatever toppings your heart desires as well. Fries are fresh, and a greasy gut bomb (I write that in a good way). The specialized Coke machine allows you to get whatever type of Coke product you desire. My only complaint is the price, $7 for a cheeseburger is a bit steep. My daughter and I tried Five Guys today for the first time. I have mixed feelings. 1. When you walk in the music is so loud it literally overwhelms you. 2. It took 17 minutes to get our food, way to long for a couple burgers and fries. But the burger was delicious and worth the wait, the fries on the other hand were moist, limp and tasteless. Been to this location and others. I tend to go there to steal the peanuts. They don't seem to care. Their burgers are very good. Their fries are great. They never stop me from stealing their peanuts and they won't charge me for them, and I have yet to be arrested. I will continue stealing their peanuts as I devour their burgers and fries . Did somone just say the fry portions shrunk?? A small order is HUGE (enough for 2 to share??) I've eaten at Five Guys all over and was so glad to see that one was coming here to Hampton. Burgers are fresh and juicy, pick whatever toppings you want, fresh cut fries (not the frozen stuff!) even the hot dogs are good (although being a true Chicagoan I cannot give them the full 5 stars LOL) They bang out the orders pretty quickly, although you will likely end up waiting because of the people taking forever to order (HELLO folks the menu only contains a few items burger, dogs, fries, and grilled cheese!!) For the same price as a drive thru give your tastebuds an orgasm instead and head to Five Guys!! read more
