Three of us had dinner here last Sunday. I'm not impressed, but I'll cover the good news first: The cajun fries were spiced just right. Restaurant was clean, and that's always good. I appreciate the free peanuts. Not sure why the peanuts were dispensed out of a box atop the trash receptacle near the front door. When we first walked in, I was intrigued by the sight of a middle-aged gal, in an upper-end suburb like HR, digging through the trash. But then the peanut gig was explained to me and it turned out that she was just waiting for her order! The peanut box placement and the sacks of raw potatoes near the counter (hey, look at us, we make things FRESH!) are weird. Is this what passes for authenticity these days? I wouldn't have minded the use of food as interior decorations, or the crush these cats have for late 70's rock, except then I began to study the menu. Four to five bucks for a burger seems steep, but the toppings are free. All of us ordered the Little burgers and a cup of fries ("feeds 3-4"?) The spiced right fries were too oily, and that always makes otherwise fresh fries seem not so fresh. Many of the fries were small slivers of potato, so it seemed like someone had just emptied what was left in the frier into our cup. Perhaps they were eager to get out on the floor and rip into another bag of Idaho's! The bun on my burger wasn't baked completely, so it had the color and texture of white sandwich bread. Wouldn't have put too much stock into that either, if the whole sandwich hadn't been mushed together. It looked as if the preparer/ grill guy had mistaken the wrapped burger as a stress relief accessory. Again, it wouldn't have been a big deal if the burger had been tasty and juicy. It wasn't. Two or three other burger places/fast food joints serve better and less expensive sandwiches, and they do it consistently (Good Times, Freddy's, Wendy's...) Was glad we had a chance to try Five Guys, but there's not much point in a return trip anytime soon. read more

My favorite burger from the fast food chains. Consistency good quality and fresh. Unlike some places that can't get a custom order right, we have never had a problem here even when ordering 5-6 burgers. The Cajun fries are a must try as well. read more

Whoa, that was a lot of food for a little money. The burgers were good, but not as amazing as I kept hearing they were. The fries were good, but I generally prefer them crispier. I really liked that they had so many toppings to chose from and the fact that the toppings were included in the price. Overall I'd give it three stars but considering that it's a fast food joint I went with the 4. The staff were helpful and prevented us from ordering the large fries. Do NOT order the large fries unless you have at least three friends to share them with. These are a great burger. Portion sizes are large and the price is in line with that. I completely disagree with anyone that calls them "greasy", they are juicy and not overcooked. Most places don't cook meat right anymore and people have become accustomed to dry, overcooked hamburger. If you want a great hamburger (and fries) try Five Guys. Tired of this location being so inconsistent. We are on a protein diet and usually 5 guys is a great quick meal. Half the time the bacon is burnt the other half it is good. Tonight we ordered 5 cheeseburgers and 1 little cheese burger for my mother in law. They managed to screw up the number of patty's. it even states how many on the kitchen printer. I'm a huge biased five guys fan. I get a double burger fix with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, jalapeños, garlic, lettuce tomato protein style and I'm good to go. Fries are the bomb too especially with Cajun spice. If they did milkshakes that would be awesome. It doesn't really matter which five guys I go to. Holy moly... My boss bought me five guys for lunch. I've never had it before and didn't know I was in for such a treat!! The best mouth watering burg I've ever had in such a long time. All their ingredients are fresh and the portions are large. I was wondering why 1 burg was going for $7.50 but now I now. Well worth it. Even the cheese was super cheesy goodness melted on top of my grade a beef patty with fresh and crisp veggies to top it. Oozing with flavor and satisfying my cravings. This burger ruined me though- I have five guys burgers dancing in my head calling for me to come take a bite out of them. The scary part is that they are 4 min away from my work. Why didn't I discover this place a long time ago. Maybe the name turned me off. Their fries are good to. Five guys is good, but not great. I like how many options they have to top your burger and the patties are tasty and juicy. I love the free peanuts and the side of fries is enough to feed 2-3. I also get a kick of the board that shows you where the potatoes for the day came from as it is usually a small town in Idaho that I have driven through in my college days. The reason for the three star review is that the burger overall just doesn't compare to similar places like Lark Burger or Smash Burger. The buns don't stand up well if you get a lot of toppings. Also, I feel like this place needs to have milk shakes to really be complete and a true competitor to similar companies. read more

Went there the first time yesterday. Everybody talks about Five Guys so thought we would give it a try. The service was great. Very friendly staff.They have a great choice of toppings you can put on your burger which you can get all for free. The burger was ok. I didn't really get to taste the meat because my burger was smothered in ketchup and mustard to where it was soaked into my bun. They are kind of on the fence with me. I'm definitely willing to give them another try since the service was great and the place was very clean. Just maybe get my toppings on the side so I can taste how great the meat is! read more

I thought it was overpriced and the food was below average. When I opened the foil that my burger was wrapped in, the bun had been smooshed down, and the toppings had been all thrown together and shifted off the burger. This southern guy came up to me and was very polite with me and my family. He was such a gentlemen! The food was great and my grandson loved it there. We've been there plenty of times before but this time was extra special because we were being treated very well.
