Well, in July I ordered about $50 worth of food via doordash. The dasher did not pick up the correct order from the store and also even delivered the wrong food to the wrong house (awesome ). I called about an hour and a half after placing my order and spoke with someone with a speech impediment (for identifying purposes in case the manager sees this) who said "oh yeah I see your food right here (confirming that it was never picked up). I don't know how to cancel it but I'll have the manager call you in the morning" never happened. I called five guys customer service and was told it would be refunded in 3-5 days. Never happened. Got an email from the manager that said no refund because they said they dropped it off... even though it was not at my house or even the right food!! Tried to contact back and never heard anything. Called doordash, they apologized and issued a refund to the store for my $50 and took fault for the claim... the manager STILL did not issue the refund despite doordash giving them money to give me. Called the customer service number 4 times in total being told every time it would be taken care of until they finally said "it's up to the manager and if he's refusing there's nothing we can do". So... they stole $50 from and I never got my food. I even disputed with my CC company and was told they have to take the managers word. I never even got to speak with the manager directly. Was getting famished from fighting traffic thru the construction zones on 94, so I thought a 5 Guys burger would fix that. Grabbed some peanuts and ordered a bacon double, small fries n shake. Usual 5 minute wait, the music here was not obnoxiously loud. At $16 this isn't typical fast food. The beef was high grade, as was the lettuce, pickles, onion, etc. To get five stars at this price, however, the bun should be higher grade and toasted, use real cheese (cheddar, Colby, provolone etc), the fries should be less greasy (find a way to absorb some of that oil), and the shake should be more like Culvers. read more

Under cooked fries. Paid for a large and regular size, totaling $11 plus, and they were not cooked thoroughly. Politely asked the tall skinny white dude, all jittery and shakey af, who was cookin in the back to drop em a couple minutes more in the fryer, which he defiantly responded with "I am NOT making you new ones." So after a little arguing he agreed to a refund. Guess you can't expect tweakers to know how to cook food when they don't eat. 2 stars because the burgers were alright.. but good luck with the rude ass service. read more

Looking for a quick bite and we had never been to 5 Guys. The cashier that took our order announced to the cooks, while taking our order, that he was going to the bathroom after he "got done with this." The fountain soda had a bitter taste. When our food came out, we were warned to be "super, super careful" because the fries just came up and were very hot. The fries were not extremely hot, they were normal temperature. As we sat there eating, we heard the same guy give the same warning to every customer. Then we got to the burgers ... BLAND! As in no salt or pepper. And they looked thrown together. On top of it all, this meal was way over priced. We could have gotten a similar meal elsewhere for much less. Now that we have experienced 5 Guys, we don't ever have to go back. read more

I took my family to this location and ordered 5 burgers. They screwed up 4 out of 5 - wrong toppings, wrong types, wrong size (a kid's instead of regular). While waiting for my burger I looked at the receipt and realized they got my order wrong. I didn't want a bacon burger. I returned to the cashier and explained his mistake (politely, mind you). He apologized and then stared at me. I had to ask him to ask the others to fix his mistake before he moved. The manager came over and told me she would correct the problem and make my burger herself. My burger comes, it has bacon scrapped to one side (along with the cheese). She apparently just wiped everything across the meat instead of making something fresh. The mayo and mushrooms were also mushed around. It was inedible. My kid's burgers were all not as ordered. Not to the extreme mine was ruined, but give a 17-yr-old boy a kid's burger? Their toppings were wrong as well. They pretty much do ONE THING. $50+ bucks wasted. I filed a complaint on their Facebook page. They responded by sending me to their website's complaint page. The complaint form demands you pick a site. The location I went to (Hudson, WI) is not an option. I can't even complain about their shitty service. These people make Comcast look responsive and customer orientened. We will never step in a 5 Guys again and I strongly recommend you avoid them as well. read more

I love five guys and i am so happy that they are in Hudson now!! And now...drum roll...they have milk shakes!! So, of course, I had to try one. They use ghiradelli chocolate and you can totally tell. Mmmmm. The burgers are, as always, superb but the fries were pretty dry and very over-salted. I know that sounds picky but i don't just go to Five Guys for their burgers -- I go for the fries. So when what I got was an over priced version of Wendys fries, i was a little disappointed. Otherwise, customer service was great and i will be back to try those fries again and maybe a strawberry milkshake! read more

So I was REALLY disappointed with my experience. A total waste of money. My burger was bland and the patties were smashed down to all hell so they were'nt juicy at all. And the "toppings" were of cheap quality especially the lettuce and it was just a sloppy tasteless mess. The cheese was NOT MELTED and looks like cheap kraft single slices. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH the outrageous amount of money they charge. Cost me almost $20 just for the burger, fries, and drink. Hardee's would've been 10x better. Don't waste your time or money at this place. A big mac is more satisfying than their shitty burgers. read more

Hamburgers are only prepared well done. Burnt and tasteless cardboard burgers would be a better description. Certainly not juicy as advertised. Six of us spent almost $60 on dry tasteless burgers. Will not return. read more
