The best Chicago Dogs! About 8 more different topped dogs, too! Sides, soft drinks, breakfast!…read more Nothing beats Catalyst Hot Dogs and little league baseball! We rolled into Savage Park around noon (Jun 2026) We jousted for parking with baseball-goers and playground-goers. We got a good spot. Then we pulled out our camp chairs and set up in the shade. We got our go-to: Authentic Chicago Dogs! Hot! Loaded with the right combo if all the right toppings! Poppy-seed buns! Perfect! Delicious! Soft drinks and chips to go with. They have many other dogs, even vegetarian dogs. This was the "Big Trailer", so we could also get baked beans, with just a little spiciness that builds up. The big trailer also has Black Angus smash burgers, veggie burgers, chicken sandwiches, mozzarella sticks, chicken nuggets, fries, pasta salad, and Italian donuts. Delicious! The best Authentic Chicago Dogs in the area! Friendly staff. Great motto: A Hotdog Is A Sandwich :-) Find their day-to-day big and small food truck locations on their social media.

They have plenty of options on the menu from a variety of hot dogs to nuggets, burgers, fries etc. Congratulations on the upcoming store front in Burtonsville. Whooooo-hoooooooo!!! Happy Yelping!

Stumbled upon this Gem on a cranky and bored night! I happen to have rolled into a rock a concert!…read moreI was with my girl and we just needed a spot to chill and hold a vibe. The concert was great!! The energy that circled the air was amplified and transcending! I downed 2 beer and out of no where a guy offer to get us some shots! We returned the favor. It turned out to be an epic night of music and great bar service along with some good craft beers. I'm dying to return so I can get a bite to eat since I've heard good things about their menu. Also wouldn't mind another rock concert to attend in the future..

They also have some outdoor seating although it was fall/winter on both of my visits so I didn't get to experience those. I've had the grilled wings and a "make your own burger" on different occasions. Both were good, not gourmet but good in a local dive type of way. Like that they aren't charging $20 or more for wings like some other places currently are. They do have a few plant based meat options (wings, Impossible burgers) also. You have a choice between shoestring and purple sweet potato fries. They have a full bar with all the usual standbys and their own creations, along with canned beers, ciders, and alcoholic seltzer. They do have live music shows on a small stage on the 1st floor. Haven't been for a show yet, per other reviewers it can be very loud given the small space. Will be back to check out some local music. Great to finally have something in the space formerly occupied by Steel Plate in the Brookland neighborhood.

This place is nuuuuuuuuts, it is so good. A classic smash burger with a host of toppings, from the…read moretraditional to fried eggs and hot peppers - much more variety than a run of the mill hamburger joint. Servings of fries are enormous, a large literally comes in its own bag to accommodate it. Topped off with a huge menu of shakes, this place is an absolute treat. Best burger around, in my opinion. A somewhat odd location attached to a convenience store, but don't let that fool you.

Z Burger is back in Northeast! McDonald's and Five Guys - be warned (lol)!…read more Being a recent DC transplant to the area, I was pleased to find this outpost of the iconic DC area Burger joint walking distance from home. I was also happy to know they offered a turkey burger option! It's not Smashburger worthy - but it's a solid option among the burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, and cheesesteaks on offer. And then they closed. Literally. This summer they closed for a mild renovation - something about the floor and drainage. They said they'd reopen in a month. That was three months ago. Fast forward and they finally re-opened last week. Solid burger freshly cut and fried French fries and onion ring options are available. As well as hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, and veggie burger as well as a 'legendary' plant based burger. I got my turkey burger and it was delish with Z sauce. So I'm definitely a fan. Prices are closer to $10 than $5 for a burger - but they are freshly prepared and fried to order, which helps the flavor (and price premium). The lobby area was mildly updated - they definitely put in that new floor. They cut part of the wall so it feels more open - but that also exposes the adjoining convenience store. There are literally 8 chairs and 4 tables all alongside the wall so this isn't primarily a dine in location - but it's nice there is a dine in option. Most folks are going to grab and go though - or utilize the myriad delivery options. Welcome back, Z Burger. I'll see you soon.

My food tasted great. The price is high so I won't be making this a regular visit, but it was a nice treat.

Came to this location for the first time for a weeknight dinner. Ordered through GrubHub. Hubby…read moreand I ordered their cheeseburger, a bacon cheeseburger bowl, and large cajun fries. Total came out to around $41. What's Hot - Quality. Delish, as always, especially when made upon ordering. It helps with the quality, flavor, and freshness of the food. Piece of advice- there is definitely a difference in flavor between their cajun fries and regular fries. Hubby and I learned that from a previous mistake in one of our orders. If you want fries with a bit of a kick and/or spice, make sure you order their cajun fries, instead of their regular fries. - Service. One of the things I appreciated about one of their staff was that he checked in with us about what we may need. For example, one of their staff saw my husband scooping out the peanuts and asked us if we'd like a separate bag for our peanuts. I heard him ask other customers the same question, as well. Nice attention to detail, especially because the peanuts are a nice additional perk, but it doesn't automatically come with your takeaway order. - Portions. Good portions, as always! I love how every Five Guys location I've ever been to always include extra scoops of fries with your order. This location was no different. No skimping on toppings, either, which is another benefit. That you can add as many toppings as you want is always a perk. - Price. Pretty reasonable, especially given the flavor, freshness, and portions of the food. - Cleanliness. Other than the issue of the face masks, which I address below, the rest of the restaurant appears to be clean and well maintained. What's Not - Parking. The entire parking lot is a paid parking lot. There are no individual meters. You have to keep track of the number you park in and pay for it at a meter in the plaza. We were surprised it's a paid parking lot, given that it's a small open lot plaza. Our guess is that the reason why it's a paid parking lot is because it's by a university. Point is to be aware. - Service. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger bowl, but my actual prepared order didn't include the bacon. Not cool. Additionally, our order was not ready when the app said it would be. In fact, our order wasn't even being prepared when we arrived. Rather, they didn't make our order until after we arrived and told them about our order. On the one hand, that meant our food was hot when we got it. On the other hand, that meant we had to wait longer for our food to be ready, which is the opposite effect of ordering your food before hand. - Price. Be aware that if you order through an app, the price may be higher. GrubHub is a couple dollars more than the regular Five Guys price. - Health and safety. Only one of their staff was wearing a face mask. During this time of the pandemic, it's reassuring when restaurants, who interact with the public, are taking health and safety precautions. Final Answer Willing to come back, but this specific location may not be a first choice.
