I had a Bacon Cheese Burger and Cajun Fries. The meal was good but for just a burger it was over priced. Some people might be able to eat here for under 10$ but if you want a burger, fries, and a drink you can expect to pay more,

Employees seem very inattentive to anything that walks in the door. They pack everything to go. I asked for water, wife for a Coke Zero. They gave us one cup, she rather than turn into Oliver Twist we shuffled off to share. As a reward I got to stand at the counter and wait like it was Wendy's. But at times the price; that's twice the price of David's, too. While I waited for the exact same burgers that I could make in 15 minutes at home for $7, a customer asked for ketchup packets for her to-go order. "We don't have those." Now I carry my brown bag to the table like a second grader reading signs proclaiming "Voted favorite quick lunch 2009" and "Reader's Choice award winner '09, '10, '11, '12". The moral of the story is: while Five Guys may have been great once, now it's just Four Failures and One Star".

Five Guys have one of the best burgers in town. Everything I ordered were homemade even the fries. Nothing frozen, or Sysco Style burgers you get at McDonalds. They cooked the patty to perfection which take longer to serve but it so worth it. I just wish they have combo meals for a better value as it is pricey to pay $5.99 plus tax for a burger alone. Other than that, I will return here again and would recommend others to come here as well!

Not as good as buffalo grill or other local area places. Service is fast and menu is limited. Burgers are pricey, too.

Fries are good and plenty of them. Lack of seasoning on the burger. Pretty boring burger.

The food was delicious and surprising, in that an item which might sound ordinary was absolutely and delightfully not. I cannot recommend The Root Cafe highly enough.

Traveling through a Little Rock for work, my group decided to grab breakfast before flying out. We came in due to the raving reviews from a multitude of online sources and they did not disappoint. I ordered the Root Benny and the blueberry muffin based on the host's recommendation. First cut into my poached egg and I already knew it was the start of a culinary journey. Absolute flavor and texture perfection. The seasonal greens (steamed kale?) paired so well with the greens and the crostini was the perfect vehicle for yolk dipping. The blueberry muffin was small but delicious--exactly what you should expect from a muffin. I wish I would've remembered to order the cookies to go. I suppose I'll have to come back.

We walked in to a large employee meeting they were having at tables near the registers. This felt strange as only a couple people were actually working and there was a manager talking to the entire staff that this or that can get you fired. Finally someone who was actually working took our order as he darted back and forth from kitchen to register. It's obvious there is no employee lounge but there has to be a better way to conduct meetings and communicate within the staff. We were never given a number or anything so we waited at the registers for quite a while after ordering. We finally saw him bring food to another couple who had been waiting since we walked and figured out, oh we sit and they bring it out. It would not have been hard for the employee to let us know we could sit. There was nothing ultimate about the ultimate chicken sandwich. Didn't even come with tomato and they forgot the lettuce. It was dry and bland. I reached for a napkin and there were none to be found in the dispenser. (I just grabbed a dispenser from another table easy enough) My son's cheeseburger was fine according to him but we both agreed the fries were awful. Barely warm at the start of the meal and cold and stale by the end of it, the shoestring fries were as edible as an actual shoe. Nothing remarkable about the steamed broccoli no seasoning to be found but at least it was in fact, real steamed broccoli, even though it didn't come out until we were halfway through our dinner. 3/4 into the meal a manager named Jasmine came to ask how things were and pleaded for honesty. She was absolutely fantastic and provided top tier customer service as she listened to me and did everything she could to make it right, including treating my son and I to very tasty milkshakes. This woman deserves a raise, I could tell she was sincere and cares about customers and the food. The menu is so large and the prices are fair, I may come back to try it again, but ONLY because of the 5 star service I got from Jasmine.

I had the $5.00 meal deal with roast beef and cheddar cheese, fries, and sweet tea. The service was fast and the manager was very nice. The roast beef was tender and delicious. The fries were thin and crispy. The sweet tea tasted good and tasted fresh, not stale. Best $5 meal that I have ever had! If I am in Little Rock again, I will enjoy another great meal at Beef-a-Roo!
