We were at the golf course, about to go to the 19th hole for a burger when we heard "buffalo Grill has the best burger in town" so we had to check it out. We got there right at opening and the host and staff were very friendly. Great diner feel with checked table cloths and laminated menus. We both got a double cheeseburger and they were huge! We could have had plenty with a single. But we pushed on through. Great seasoning on the burger and they were huge fries were fresh cut and crispy. Beer was good and cold. Great experience! Me and my wife recently stopped here for lunch. Haven't been here in years just good today it's just as good as it was back in the day. Kinda odd walking in but we found our way in and to a table. First notice inside was the dive feel but really it's far from it with the exceptions of the locals chowing down. Inside restaurants mall the company it's not really overcrowded, but we are comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they made you feel at home. We both ordered cheeseburgers and shared order fries burgers come with chips and I thought that was kind of silly who eat chips anymore For some reason those were delicious. We had a full day on our plate so maybe I was extra hungry I don't know, but those chips are good. The burgers were perfect. I had mine with pepper jack my wife had hers with cheddar perfectly cooked. Well put together and the fries were delicious. No like I said it's been years since I've eaten here and it's just delicious. I've probably had everything on the menu, but I'm ready to go back for more. read more

We have eaten here many times and always return when we just want a good sandwich and fresh cut fries. Service is always great and gives you that small town feel. My husband loves a Reuben and so I got on yelp today to search for a new place to get a Reuben and buffalo Grill wasn't even in the top 10. It has been a little bit since our last visit and a good burger sounded like a good idea. Our server promptly seated us and took our drink order. The decor hasn't changed in years, something we were aware of. No biggie. Our food was served and looked great, the club my friend had was presented well and had good flavor. However my burger was too well done for my liking and slathered with mustard no mayo. This visit was not normal maybe a new kitchen person not sure. First visit and great experience. The restaurant has a cool vibe. We got both the Cheese dip and Chili cheese dip appetizers. Very tasty and flavorful. I ordered a chilli cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese which was delicious. Teresa had chicken tenders, fries and salad. Other items were the double cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, and club sandwich. YUMMY No complaints from anyone and the sweet tea was great. Service was good and all the staff was friendly. I heard this place was pretty good so I rolled in for a bite and a drink. The servers are excellent. Quick to help, friendly and down to Earth. The food however is nothing special. I should have got something with cheese dip, as my friends tell me that is what to order. I went with a chicken quesadilla that while serviceable, did not stand out in any way. I asked for a shot of whiskey to wash it down and she brought it out to me in a rocks glass filled to the brim with ice. That's never happened before and I did not like it. I was disappointed today. I had not been to the Buffalo Grill for well over a year. First my burger was not very juicy, I ordered the side salad as opposed to taking the chips. The salad just had a few bacon bits and no tomato, onions, cucumbers and was very dry. Prices were surprising high. A double burger, regular cheeseburger and drink came to $40 and change, not including tip. $1.00 extra was added for grilled onions. That's a $50 burger lunch. My sense was that I did not get value for the money. Service was good though. By the way you Don!t get fries with your burger. That's a $3 add on. Great food! We started with an onion ring appetizer which was very good. The OR were homemade. Husband had a hamburger which was a hand made patty. He said it was flavorful & juicy. I had the Reuben. Memorial Day and we couldn't find a place to eat that was different. We found Buffalo Grill and it was amazing. My wife got a plain hamburger and fries and it was delicious other than the fries being too oily. I got the hamburger steak and it was amazing and loved the onions on them. Price for food was ok, not too expensive. If y'all want a place to hang out on a Saturday or Sunday brunch, this could be the place! Very friendly staff. Food was hot (as someone who will send it back for suboptimal temps---this was a win). Chicken strips were good and the onion rings were excellent. Double cheeseburger was not anything special---but if you're looking for grease and cheese, it'll get the job done. Any side other than chips is an up charge. We are longtime customers of Buffalo Grill. But a recent experience there has left me really irritated. We arrived a little after 11am (before the lunch rush) on a beautiful Saturday because it was my mom's birthday and we wanted to sit outside. There were 6 of us (4 adults & 2 kids) and, when we arrived, there were 6 tables open outside (five 4-tops and one 2-top). We went to check in with the employee and they told us we couldn't sit outside because there weren't any 6-top tables available. We asked if we could put 2 tables together, they said no. We asked if we could add 2 additional chairs to a 4-top, they said no. I asked why (because we have been able to do this in the past) and they said it was because we would be blocking the walkway. When I pointed out that a current table had an extra chair (blocking the walkway) he said it was okay because it was just 1 chair. It was like he was just making stuff up on the spot. At no point did he offer a compromise (like - "let's get you seated inside and then you can move outside once a 6-top comes available") or anything. At no point did he seem at all sorry that they couldn't accommodate us. When I said we would have to go somewhere else, he just shrugged and said "okay". This would be frustrating regardless but especially since we have been going there for years. So we left and ate at another restaurant nearby where they were happily able to accommodate our group of 6. When we left, all 6 empty tables were still empty. When we drove by later on our way home - still empty. I messaged Buffalo Grill on Facebook to see what their response would be. They have not bothered to respond, even though I can see they have read the message. They clearly don't care about their customers or, apparently, if they even have customers. At a time when going out to eat can be a luxury, I definitely recommend skipping Buffalo Grill and going to a restaurant where they actually want you there. read more

Moved to Little Rock in June of 2000. People would tell me about this place. Cannot tell you how many times I have went to this place to eat. Taken friends, family there also. When my parents come to Little Rock, we always go here to eat. All I have to ask when my parents come to Little Rock, "Are you hungry?" Without any other words spoken, we leave my place and go directly here to eat. Cannot say one thing bad about this place, staff, or food. When a mistake happens on my order, taken care of immediately!!! This is one excellent place to go and eat with friends, family, or just yourself. Poor food, average service,and nothing to make up for it. We waited 10 minutes on the patio before being served, despite telling the host we were there. The food was lackluster. My club sandwich was served on dry wheat toast, with iceberg lettuce, bacon, and processed deli meats and cheese. It might as well have been subway, except subway tastes better and is fresher. I had a side of onion rings that were average, but definitely frozen and then deep fried. The rest of my party had a tuna sandwich, and a ham and cheese melt. The tuna was reported as dry, but ok. I tried the melt, and it was similarly disappointing. The cheese had obviously been individually wrapped, and the sandwich itself lacked flavor. All in all, the whole experience was disappointing. The menu was woefully shallow, the drink list tepid, and the service nothing special, but not bad. There are better places to eat around. In fairness, I have not tried the burger, which is award winning. But unless it's the best burger ever, I'd skip this joint. read more

My niece and I visited this past Sunday. Neither of us had been there before. Cute little place with lots of personality. We were seated quickly. When the server brought our drinks, he asked if we wanted straws. We said no. This is the first restaurant in Arkansas where I have ever experienced that. Yes, I consider myself an environmentalist and I loved this. I support businesses that support my values. This place does. I had a Reuben and my niece had a cheeseburger. Both were outstanding. Well, I wish I could recommend this place like I would have been able to 30 years ago, but I think that's the problem. BG has the same menu--which is also why people still love it, no doubt. Back then, nachos, chicken strips, and hand-cut fries were still kind of a novelty. Now you can get food like that at drive-thru's. I made a mistake by not ordering a burger--but I try to avoid beef. The grilled fish sandwich seemed like a good option. Wrong. Flavorless plank of defrosted mahi-mahi. Fries were soggy and cold. My dining companions didn't eat much of their food, either. On a positive note, the restaurant was cram-packed at lunch with a line of people waiting. So I don't feel that bad writing my honest review-people love this place, so my criticism won't hurt business. But I would suggest a burger if you dine there!!! read more

I enjoyed my stay here at the Buffalo Grill. Great food, friendly staff and a great patio. I'm still trying everything out to find my favorite places to frequent during my lunch hour and Buffalo Grill is up there. I just wish there was a slightly bigger selection of menu items or if the menu items available had something that just set them a part from anywhere else, (a signature menu item perhaps?) Been our every 2-week lunch destination for 3 or 4 persons for over a year now. Very disappointed this time. Ordered the same thing Chicken Nachos and A Chicken Tender Salad. Took over 25 minutes to get our food. Food to other tables delivered ahead of ours even though they got seated after us. The Chicken Tender Salad was HORRIBLE. The Chicken was cold and hard as a rock. The Nachos appeared to be thrown together and were TASTELESS. I had come to expect far more than what was delivered today. I doubt if we ever go back as this was the consensus opinion of our group. Sorry Buffalo Grill but you can and need to do better. read more

I made the mistake of ordering a burger at Buffalo Grill a day after eating the best burger of my life in Jackson, MS, at Stamps Superburgers. The one at Buffalo was tasteless, with a sorry piece of something hard and white resembling a tomato, some onions (not grilled) thrown on, Wonder Bread buns (not toasted) and a pickle. It was kind of damp and yucky, just slapped together with poor ingredients. It was obvious that no care was taken with it.
