Just under $60! for three little bacon cheeseburgers and one double plus two fries and medium drinks. It was "ok" but not worth it. I couldn't eat enough peanuts to make it worth it.

Usually have a good experience. This time, not so much. I brought my daughter in after picking her up at school. We ordered fries (how could you not), a burger for me and grilled cheese for her. The food takes a little while which I don't mind since the cook it to order. The fries were great. The burger was good hut, my fault for not realizing, I was given and charged for an extra burger. The bad part comes while waiting. The staff was talking while working which is not an issue. They should enjoy being at work. The language was the issue. One of the woman, who was working the grill and fries, was cursing. Not just once, because I have been known to drop the occasional f-bomb, but multiple times while we waited. My 8 y/o heard because I saw her eyes go wide. I didn't mention it to her or to the staff because I didn't want to make a big deal in front of my daughter. Again, I don't mind the talking but cursing isn't appropriate when there are customers around.

Almost $15 for burger, fries and drink?  It's good, but not that good.

I'm giving him them the benefit of the doubt with the 4th star. So often, I wish yelp allowed half stars, because this should be 3.5 star review. Burger was tasty, a definite step beyond any fast food joint. The fries were also head and shoulders above your average diner's. That said, $15 for a burger, small fries and a small drink is pretty steep. The free peanuts are nice, but not a game changer. Newer chain burger joints are popping up constantly, offering a wider array of burgers, sides and beverages. As I said before, 5 Guys gets the benefit of an extra 1/2 star due to being the impetus for the recent explosion in the quality chain-burger joints.

They take light mustard seriously lol

Clean place and nice staff. But the burger is really bad. Tasteless. For less than half what you paid here you could get whopper or big Mac.

Can't compare this with fast food locations like Popeyes, but can draw similarities to say an old school Boston Market that no longer really exists on L.I. You get an option of a side or a few but more homey to the Latin cultural roots of this chain. Therefore instead of ordering say mashed potatoes you can order Yuca Fries :) which are a healthier version believe or not, with just a slightly starcher root vegetable texture. On this outing to try the new location we opted for the 2 piece Drum Thigh with one side (slaw) drink and dinner roll, and added two Breasts and the Yuca Fries. All were made hot and fresh and served to our table by a friendly counter server, family style in large festive plate (w/side plates, disposable utensils). The flavorful chicken was great, yuca fries yummy and the slaw was definitely worth trying since their recipe tastes different than others. Pricing was more than fair for what we ordered, and I would consider definitely going back to try more of their menu items, as well as recommending others to give them a try. If you're not in this area to give them a try, I believe you can spot them at Penn Station. ;)

The meal includes 8 pieces of leg and thigh, 4 rolls, and 2 sides--we chose yucca fries and mac & cheese. I had takeout from a previous Yelp event, so I didn't expect dine-in service, but they gave us a table number and brought the food out to us. They also provided melamine plates, which was a nice surprise and made the meal feel more dine-in than fast-casual. When I the staff member about takeout containers, she misunderstood and immediately brought them over with a bag--honestly, super helpful. Service was outstanding. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The chicken was crispy and full of flavor. My son loved the yucca fries and rolls. I especially enjoyed the mac & cheese and chicken. We also tried the jamaica and horchata drinks (not included in the meal), and both were excellent. I wish I had a Pollo Campero near me--but maybe it's for the best, or I'd be here all the time!

We ordered the steak paninis, steak wraps, and onion rings -- all absolutely delicious. The steak was perfectly seasoned and tender, and everything was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. You could taste the love in every bite. Even though we took our food to go, the staff made us feel right at home. Super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The vibe inside is classic and cozy, with booth-style seating that gives off that real-deal diner feel. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Pit Stop is 100% worth the visit. Great food, great people -- exactly what you'd expect from a place Guy Fieri would put on the map!

My friend enjoyed a chicken sandwich and I had the BEST vegan bowl anywhere! We talked about why all the tables were not filled, and we both said at the same time: it must be the name. I would have not chosen to eat here if I did not ask the sisterhood chairlady at my Temple where they got the delicious wraps. My friend and I agreed that it should be called the Gourmet Grill, or Tasty Time.
