*The worst Wendy's I've ever visited* I've been to this Wendy's over many years and it's always the last place I want to visit. My kids like the Baconator, so I will sometimes bite the bullet and go. Drive-thru line will extend onto Merrick Rd. and I'll go inside to order. The counter employees/management are so bad that and will take so long for my order that the cars that in the drive-thru will have snaked around the building and receive their order before mine. It's not crowded inside and they must prioritize the drive thru rather than customers standing in front of them. Customers are ignored. This week, we chose to eat inside because one of us had to use the restroom. Let me tell you, the bathroom is nasty. No pictures necessary. You get it. I don't know how Wendy's employees can use that restroom and then cook burgers and make salads. We waited at the counter and were ignored by the employees as they stood and joked around talking about their next break time. An old woman came up beside us at the counter and got their attention because the 2 ketchup dispensers were broken. The employee stood there for 5 seconds looking at her and snapped out of her trance to offer 2 ketchup packets. No "sorry" or "thank you for telling us" or "we'll get right on that!" Just blank. Wendy's must have had 8 employees working that shift but they were all at the fryers and drive thru area. Total lack of customer service at the counter. The countertops at the service are were dirty and had debris. (See pictures). No napkins. Both ketchup dispensers were empty/broken. Garbage throughout the dining room, below tables and chairs, and tables without trash weren't wiped clean. While we were eating, I noticed when an employee made his way through the dining room, looking under tables and moving chairs. I assumed that this was to finally clean, but he was just looking for something he dropped earlier when on his break. He moved garbage out of the way to search but didn't remove the garbage. He eventually walked away back behind the counter. All this time, not once did a Wendy's employee clean chairs, tables, counters or even inspect the ketchup dispensers as asked by the old woman customer. 1 Star for good burger. read more

Staff - Rude, incorrect about their products and terrible at math. Had a BOGO $1 premium sandwich. Coupon did not work so manager scraped together incorrect math. Manually took off $5 off a 6.79 sandwich, which totals $1.79, not $1 as per my coupon. I then left drive through and checked my order, my baconator had one patty and 2 slices of bacon on it. A baconator is 2 1/4lb beef patties and 6 strips of bacon with two slices of cheese. The manager and the drive through employee both told me I was WRONG and the baconator had a single patty, I literally then showed them the official Wendys website ad for the baconator and SHOWED THEM the description and picture of the baconator to tell them they were incorrect. He claims he "only charged me for a single baconator" when I've never once ordered it like that nor does it come with one patty. The manager proceeds to tell me "then it's gonna be $1.50 extra and I said absolutely not, I asked for a regular baconator. She slams the glass window on me, storms away, and comes back 20 seconds later with the CORRECT sandwich with the right ingredients and angrily hands it to me and shuts the window, not saying a word. Terrible service, the last 4 times i came here for a biggie bag the food was cold. This time i asked to have it made fresh. I made sure that they heard me ask to have it made fresh, they even repeated it to me. But still the fries, nuggets and sandwich were ice cold and hard as rocks. They had a worker handle the refund and while this was going on the workers were complaining that I didn't "Just leave and accept it". This Wendy's is not the best. But when Jeff and I spy on Annie, it is the only place to go. It was empty, but the parking lot was full, because everyone from Trader Joe's parks here. That triggered Jeff, but I calmed him down with a 4 for 4. The soda was fresh, but the burgers weren't. Jeff's said his was cold, and 5 hours later he was on the toilet with the Hershey Squirts! WORKERS ARE RUDE. I was ordering through the drive through and was met with passive aggressive responses and comments like im driving too slow or taking too long to decide on my meal. J just need a second please. Secondly the lady made me hang far outside my car because she refused to reach her arm out farther to provide me with the chip reader on the machine. Following this whole encounter the rude lady Nelly said "have a day" which ultimately caught me off guard as I wasn't rude to her or anyone in anyway. I always choose the drive thru pickup via the app. Today, the woman at the window mumbled something to the fact of the order isn't done yet, come inside next time. Food is never warm, forget about hot and the customer service level is severely lacking. I highly suggest you remind your staff that customer service should be the number one goal. Wendy's is usually a crapshoot when it comes down to it. The worst places I will continue to go to are Wendy's. I don't know if I like the different options that much or there is some nostalgia aspect to it. Maybe it is because most fast food restaurants on that tier aren't blowing them away. I am unsure. I do not that the last two times I went there were exactly what I am talking about. The first of the two experiences required a trip back because they forgot to give us an item we ordered. The last experience is the other issue I have more often with Wendy's than their competitors. I arrived and found about five cars ahead of me to get to the order box. It was 24 minutes until I reached it. They requested I give them a few minutes before I ordered, which is fine. The people are busy and work hard. It took 30 minutes before I left the lot with my food. Thankfully, the order was correct. Can I in good faith recommend them? No. Will I go back? It is the closest Wendy's, so yes. I decided to give it a 2nd chance and placed a Mobil order on 11/17/21. It was a simple order of 2 bacon cheddar chicken sandwiches and a Dave's single with 3 orders of fries. I picked up order, checked that I had 3 sandwiches and 3 fries before I left. Got home, one of the chicken sandwiches had no bun, the other chicken sandwich was actually a burger. Not a huge fan of fast food these days but this Wendy's location is not bad and is definitely better than the past few Wendy's locations I have visited. Friendly service at the counter and our order was prepped quickly and correctly (we had a few customizations). The food actually looked appetizing, not smushed/dilapidated. Dining area was clean, well lit, and not packed in. Can't ask for a whole lot more from such a franchise. I'd actually come back here if the mood struck. read more

Wendy's is my favorite fast food place. They have variety of food including baked potatoes and chili if you don't want french fries. This Wendy's has the same great food as any other Wendy's. The employees are very friendly. They gave my son a toy from the a kids meal even though I didn't order a kids meal for him. The one big difference about this Wendy's is that there is no self service soda machine. Almost every other fast food chain has self service so this one not having it is a bit disappointing. If you want a refill you have to go up to the counter and ask for one. read more

I was so nice to this woman and she still made me feel like I was a bother to her. I'm allergic to the preservative that's used in commercial Mayo and I always repeat NO MAYO and confirm when I order anything that normally comes with Mayo, My first visit here a few weeks ago they screwed up and gave me MAYO. Needless to say I was pissed off when I got home and found Mayo on my burger....straight to the garbage. I gave it a second shot on my way home today and after stressing NO MAYO at least 3 times, I got a combo with enough Mayo to choke a horse and cold fries with a Dr. Pepper that tasted like diet coke and no receipt from the drive through... garbage again... never again. Went to go get some chicken sandwiches with my boyfriend and I guess I didn't pull up fast enough for her even though she had us waitIng for 5 minutes which is a lot for a drive theough. I went to this wendys today. I have always found it to be extremely slow and inconsistent with the orders I place. I continued to go there originally because of the location. Today was so bad I had to write this. The service was slow(nobody else in the restaurant)and it still took forever to get my food. When we received our chili we realized that it was extremely watered down. My wife went up and asked for a new one. The cashier told her that it's just how it was made today and she couldn't do anything about it. I then asked for a manager and she proceeded to hand me another chili which was the same consistency of the prior one. When I showed her how liquidy it was she gave me an attitude and said what do you want me to do about it. I asked for my money back and she proceeded to give it back to me while she continued a personal conversation with her friend who happened to be ordering food as well. While all this was going on the rest of the staff was looking for a burger that someone ordered that they couldn't find. Im not sure if it's poor management or poor staff or a combination of both. Tonight I visited Wendy's. I ordered the 4 for 4. The food was better than I expected, being I was at a fast food chain. The only flaw was that there was a lump of hair on my cheese fries. Their service was terrible. I waited approximately 45 mins from start to finish. I believe Wendy's is fast food so I should not be waiting 45 minutes for something that I can make at home in 20 mins. The staff is not pleasant. When I first walked to the counter another customer was ordering a medium rare burger. Medium rare at Wendy's I thought it was crazy but hey. The worker did not understand what medium rare was after the customer spent 2 or 3 minutes trying to explain to her what medium rear was she still did not understand and I told her pink in the middle. She then understood and finished up taking that customers order and then walked in away. Leaving me waiting to place my order. She looked me in my face several time before noticing I was still waiting and telling two mins. After 5 minutes she came over and took my order finally we are moving. Now I'm waiting for my order seeing as she's been making medium rare ladies order the whole time I was waiting . So now medium rare ladies (MRL) I'm lazy so that her name now, MRL food is on two trays just sitting there her husband had to come up before the cashier saying oh it's done. MRL's husband comes back up informing her two sandwiches are not there .Finally my food is done and she just drops the bag in front of me no have a nice day or anything and to add insult to injury the damn food was cold.
