Cheeseburger "All the Way" with Jalapeno. Perfect.
    David P.

Very consistently good. Its been years since I've had Five Guys, and this is the third location I've been to. Its greasy and simple....just what I was craving.

Two cheeseburgers and fries. They purposely give you so much fries that the cup overflows and the bag has almost as much fries as the cup.

We placed a takeout order for two cheeseburgers and fries at the Mavis Road location. The burger itself consisted of two patties and two slices of American cheese and was cooked to order on a flat top grill. Although the patties did not have the same caramelized crust as places like Burger's Priest, they were still tasty. Further comparing the Five Guys to Burger's Priest, Five Guys does not have as much variety on their burger menu, with options limited to cheese and bacon, but what they do offer is a good basic burger. For the toppings we both asked for mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, ketchup, and mustard. This combination actually turned out to be "All the way" hold the mushrooms in their order system. So, the next time, we will just for "All the way". The fires were very good as they were crispy and not overly oily. They are known for purposely overfilling the fries cup with an extra scoop, so the bag had almost as much fries as in the cup itself. Since the burgers are made to order, there was a wait, which is worth it for a freshly cooked burger. The service was fast and efficient. Overall, Five Guys offers a good solid basic burger with really good fries. We are planning on returning.

Five guys... what can I say? It's always a satisfying experience every time I step in one. The one at heartland is located right off Mavis and Britannia in the plaza with the dollarama and Best Buy. Opening the door on a hot summer afternoon and we were greeted with a rush of warm air - the grills were hard at work. We ordered a bacon hamburger and a little hamburger as well as Cajun fries and a drink (free refill btw). It came to just over $24, a little pricey for fast food but let me assure you, well worth it! You get all the toppings you'd want all for free! Plus we snacked on free peanuts while we waited. The seating area away from the grills was still a little warm but not hot, I guess it's hard to keep the heat locked away in one area. (I can imagine this would be my paradise in the winter though) The food was great as usual

The burgers are fine but do not buy the fries . Stale, burnt and very salty. I complained to the attendent and she seemed as though she did not care. You expect quality but instead you get low quality with high price, very disappointing; will definitely not go again. Bad experience.

The regular burger - two patties - with mustard, ketchup, lettuce, and tomato. And yes, it is a mess to eat but worth it.

Very good burgers and fries, just like the ones at all the Five Guys I have been to. Not much I can add other than the burgers were juicy, flavorful, and well done. The secret to keeping the fries crispy is to eat at the restaurant. If you take the food out, the steam from the fries condenses in the bag and makes the fries soggy.

As always a big fannof Five Guys. I like this location as this is conveniently located within the Heartland Centre. As always Love the burgers and fries cajun style.

For a fast food burger joint, Five Guys is the way to go. They have the best burgers and most topping of any fast food place. There fries are out of this world good and you get the free peanuts. I love it. Sitting in there reminds me of how things were probably like in the 50s and 60s out in the country...just classic old school diner. It is fantastic.

Little Cheeseburger+Little Fries+Ice Tea So I made myself a Little combo here, because I have heard the regular burgers are massive. Place: This is a nice, big, and inviting spot although when you get the food, it gives you the feeling of those "hole in the wall" restaurants that are really great. The staff was really nice, very polite, and very helpful with my order. Food: So I tried the little fries and I chose to go with the Cajun style fries; let me tell you those fries are wonderful. what's really cool is once they've packed the brownbag it seems like they throw more fries into the bag just for fun. I dig that! So I ordered the Little burger with my toppings, and they were not stingy with the toppings which is great. The burger was cooked well and was just very succulent the whole way through. Very tasty. The only downfall of this whole thing is that it is pricey and every item must be bought individually.

Had a craving for Five Guys and their fresh cut cajun spiced fries. Cooked to order, not in a warmer. Worth the wait.

I've been to other Five Guys locations before. But this one is literally a few steps from work. At first it seems like a normal 5 Guys. The familiar white and red decor and the view into the cooking area as these guys put together your meal. However, this one location stood out. It wasn't the food (although it was just as good as other Five Guys locations that I've been to... read: Its good); but as soon as the line was done, We were greeted by the cashier, and were asked how our meal was, and whether anything could be done to improve it. That little gesture made a huge impression on me. Way to go. Try getting that kind of attention at any other fast food restaurant.

Making my way through this burger and Cajun fries.

I was ready for an early dinner. I found out that Heartland Centre has an Edo Japan. I love this franchise. It's Canadian and I like the food offerings. It took me nine minutes to drive over to this eatery. It's across from Best Buy and JYSK. Skechers is nearby. What I like about this location is that it's sandwiched between Starbucks on the left and Copper Branch on the right. I love all three businesses. I was pleased. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into an available one and walked over. This eatery is large and clean. A male staffer was taking a break and chowing down. There was one customer waiting for his order. His order was ready. As he went to fetch it from the counter, it allowed me to look at the chicken ramen deal. The ramen has tonkotsu broth and it comes with a fountain drink. Sold! I got a nice, friendly woman who took my order. I went with the chicken ramen soup combo. I had my Edo rewards barcode scanned. I earn points that convert to dollars that you can use towards the cost of a future meal. Sweet! I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I got a cup for my drink. She gave me my order number and said that it would be called out. I used the fountain drink machine. I filled my cup with ice and then Diet Coke. I put a lid on it and fetched a straw. My drink tasted crisp and great. I refilled my cup before I left. I sat closest to the window. The male staffer was where I would have liked to have sat down, because it was a two-seater table and I'd be closer to the machine. I got another two-seater table closer to the window. The nice female staffer came over with my ramen. It was a nice service touch. I appreciated the gesture. She said that she was happy to do it. So great! It's one reason why this place gets a perfect review. The service was stellar. The chicken ramen was excellent. Sure, it's fast food. It was good. The chicken was tender. I loved the veggies. It had corn, which was awesome! The ramen was thicker than I had imagined it to be. It was yummy. I liked the broth. It probably had more pepper than I would have liked. However, it was delicious. It wasn't salty. The pork flavour was mild, but good. I drank it all up. I put away my tray and disposed of everything. It was easy throwing away each item, as the garbage area listed which items go where. I used the washroom before I left. There were two single stalls. One had a large button to open the door for accessibility. I used the one without it. The stall was clean. I also liked the hand drier that allowed me to put my drink on top of it. I enjoyed dining here. The food and drink were awesome. Staff were friendly and excellent. I'd return again when I'm in the area. (17)

This time, I ordered the Bamboo bowl for myself and others in my party got the Oaxaca and Tex Mex. We split our bowls so we could try all flavours and personally, I think the sauce makes the bowl and always go extra sauce. In order, I like the Bamboo (green curry sauce), Tex Mex (ranch sauce), and Oaxaca (spicy yogurt sauce) in that order. The green curry sauce in the Bamboo bowl was divine and all the veggies that came with the bowl added to the flavour of it. Tex Mex, same thing - ranch is bomb and the veggies the bowl comes with was perfect. Oaxaca I enjoyed but think it's not a flavour everyone will like. The spicy yogurt sauce leans towards the sour side and kind of overpowers the veggies/meat in the bowl with it. The flavour is a bit stronger compared to the Tex Mex and Bamboo, so even though the portion I had of it was the same size as the portion of the other flavours, it felt more filling just because the sauce was so strong. The bowl I tried on my last visit (not pictured), the Pangoa, I definitely liked least, for similar reasons. I'm all for BBQ, but in a bowl with veggies, I couldn't taste anything but BBQ so I felt like i was just eating BBQ + rice. Overall really great flavours for a healthy meal. I mainly prefer bowls because I think they're more filling, but know their wraps are fantastic too (from corporate lunches). Will definitely come back for more!

The place itself is pretty simple, more of a casual spot. Not super aesthetic or anything, but it's clean and works for a quick meal. It was busy when I went, so clearly a popular spot. We got a few things: the Oklahoma Fried double smash, the classic double, and the truffle mushroom Swiss double. The burgers were good, like no complaints, but I'll be honest they were kinda mid compared to the hype. The patties were cooked well and everything tasted fresh, but nothing really stood out or made me think wow I need this again. The onion rings were sooo good though. Easily the best part of the meal. Super crispy, not greasy, and just done perfectly. I'd go back just for those. It is a bit pricey though. The burgers are like $14-$18, and once you add sides it adds up pretty fast. For what you get, it does feel a little expensive. Service was good, everything came out pretty quick which I liked. Overall, it's a decent spot and worth trying once, but it didn't fully live up to the hype for me. I'd probably rate it around a 7/10, mainly carried by the onion rings lol.
