I grew up with JITB in So Cal but oddly only remember the very late night runs there for Monster Tacos! IYKYK!! Today I drove thru and ordered the #9 combo; smashed burger with fries and a drink. Sadly they do not carry Coke Zero, only Diet Coke and is a pale substitute, at best. The lady who took my order and eventually served me at the window was very friendly, well spoken, and efficient. From the window, the inside looked new still, very clean and everyone was working on something. My fries didn't stay warm very long for a less than 3 mile drive home, but were ok. (My dog liked them!) They remind me of Burger King fries. There were plenty in the box though! The burger was still quite warm and put together nicely. 1/4 lb Beef patty, cheese, pickles, thousand island dressing they call Boss Sauce, and grilled onions on a fresh brioche bun. Tasty burger! It was all about $12. I'll go back.
