One star for a very specific problem. We regularly order Friday dinner for four from this Five Guys. I always order an extra patty on my cheeseburger for a total of 3 patties. The problem is that half the time there are only two patties delivered. Very frustrating. Even more frustrating is when I called to make them aware of the problem the first person didn't seem empowered to do anything and when I asked for a manger after a minute waiting no manager answered someone simply hung up the phone. Five Guys = Five stars. One of the best casual dine choices, always. The food is always hot and fresh, and made exactly to order. I love that they have so many options for toppings and condiments. My favorite is the veggie sandwich with everything on it: cheese green peppers, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. Fries are amazing, so are the shakes. We stopped in around 8 pm and a fairly long line of teenagers had "invaded" the store, but the staff processed them through relatively quickly. It was too bad that some of the teenagers then left messy tables and chairs without cleaning up after themselves, and the staff was too busy to address since they were still playing catch up with the regular customers still in line. The Double Bacon Burger & fries are amazing along with the bacon/chocolate milkshake! The service was average for a fast food place that makes everything to order. I found the milkshake area and odd placement as that is a separate pick up area and you kinda have to go around people to pick it up. Over will be coming back for good food and milkshakes! The best burgers in Indy, I would go as far as saying the best burgers on the planet. This place does not feel like a chain, even though they are. One of the few times a limited menu is welcomed. They have burgers, fries and hot dogs, that's it, but what they do, they do extremely well. Tip: Two people can easily split a small fry. Four people can split a large fry. Nothing close to what was ordered Passing through on business so could not turn around and go back to restaurant. Too far down road when opened wrapper to eat. Called manager and he could not issue credit to credit card because he needed the actual card - really??? Went years and years never trying this place for no real logical reason. Finally tried it with my husband and the kids and love it! The bag fries are always a hit too! I'm always ready to explode just from eating a regular burger. The milkshakes are really good too. I can't eat it too often because I'm lactose intolerant yet refuse to give up cheese and dairy lol. I am reviewing the Five Guys at Hamilton Town Center. I would highly advise you to go to eat here. It has great burgers, fries, and milkshakes. It is a burger joint in the middle of the mall that draws a lot of attention. It has good customer service. The space is tight, but there is a lot of space outside. It's special because it has good food, it is in a mall, it has bathrooms, and it has a lot of combined space(inside and outside). The only problem is that the prices are a little high. But, the quality makes up for such high prices. One time, my friends and I walked to the mall. We went shopping and went to Five Guys. We waited in line for about 5 minutes. I got a little cheeseburger, a chocolate milkshake and small fries. The cashier was really nice, and he gave us our receipt. We all waited for about 7 minutes for the food. We got our food and headed outside. The food tasted delicious, and we got about half of a bag of fries. It was crazy, there was so much fries for such a low price! If I could give zero starts I would. Tonight my friends and I went to go get some drinks and we stopped into 5 guys to go get a shake and some fries, specifically an Oreo shake. So eventually they call out our order so we go get it, my friend took a sip and immediately realized it was wrong, so she went back up to get it fixed, they continued to argue with her even though it was clearly vanilla and they eventually went to re make it but they were incredibly rude. So we go back to get it and it was right this time, but they were speaking Spanish and little did they know we knew exactly what they were saying, they said they said that she should have thrown it in her face along with making a motion of throwing it so we leave and get in the car and I called to talk to the manager so I very calmly explained what happened and they didn't say anything after my explanation and hung up on me. So I went back and I requested a refund. They gave it to me but the whole time they were being very rude and laughed at us. And they told us to never come back. I honestly wish I could rate this less than 0 stars. I've never had any problems with this five guys. Today I wanted an Oreo shake, simple request right? They called out my order number so I went to receive my shake later discovering it was a plain vanilla shake. I personally don't like plain vanilla so I went back up to the front to talk to the workers. I explained that I ordered an Oreo shake and it seemed as if there wasn't a single piece of Oreo. The workers preceded to talk to each other in Spanish and funny enough I understood everything they were saying. It's so astonishing that people don't think others speak more than one language just because they are white. I did not make it known that I understood them and thankfully so. They made another shake for me and when I walked up to grab the new one the lid popped off. I almost knocked it over so I apologized as one customer would do. One worker preceded to make the motion of throwing the shake in my face to another coworker which overall pushed the line. after Leaving the store my friend called to speak to the manager, she explained what had just happened and they immediately hung up. My other review says it all... and this location is consistent. My burger and fries, and our service were 5 star worthy. One thing I am learning, I used to order everything like the sauteed mushrooms and onions on my burger. I got just a good ol' burger loaded with the good stuff like lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard this time; because, I'm thinking sometimes when I loaded it before the cooks tried to oblige my request for everything by fitting a tiny bit of whatever I asked for on the bun. So , I'd end up with all of it but not really. My loaded burger would be loaded with a few mushrooms and few this and that. So, my tip, if you really want everything talk to the cooks, they're right their and always receptive whenever I've talked to them or just realize (duh, like I did) only so much will fit on a to-go style burger. My All-American I think is the way to go for me, though, from now on. As for this location, the place was absolutely empty so we were in and out, but I've been here when they've had a line and the wait is never long. Like I said consistently Five Guys... Absolutely love Five Guys burgers and fries. After trying Five Guys going to a standard fast food chain just doesn't happen anymore in my family. Nothing compares to this place and anyone who's says otherwise just doesn't know quality... Knowing their beef is 100% beef vs. places that give you filler product adds to my argument of quality. Five Guys is basically the east-of-the-Mississippi answer to In-N-Out, but it doesn't quite meet their standard. The fries are a refreshing change from fast-food fries, as they appear to be cut straight from real potatoes without additives (and yes, a small fry is easily shared by two people). The burgers aren't bad, but I wish they would actually melt the cheese onto the patties and toast/fry the buns a little bit. The bacon on the baconburgers is thin and crispy and not worth the extra price. My biggest complaint is the noise--the space is basically a tiny warehouse, and it echoes every sound like an aircraft hanger. It doesn't help that people drag their metal chair legs across the hard tile floor with no apparent awareness of how painfully harsh the sound is. If you can't get to an In-N-Out, this is better than nothing. read more

My 12 year old always wants to come here when we can, so we always fight over the last few delicious fries! Made to order fresh burgers, & their fries are made on sight - gotta love that! I always forget about Five Guys Burgers and Fries when I want a really good, cheap burger with all the fix'ns on it. The great thing about these restaurants is the food always comes out hot and you can watch while they work on your order. I have always had stellar customer service at each Five Guys and the one I visited in Nobelsville before the Heart, Joan Jett and Cheap Trick (Triple Threat Hall'o'Famer concert) was no exception. The place was packed because it's right in the heart of a mall and tons of shops nearby to visit. The employee who took our order was friendly and quick at getting what we wanted put into the machine. We go over to the drink machine that has every flavor of every coke product you never thought you wanted, I played it safe and went with cherry vanilla Dr Pepper. We sat down for just a couple of minutes and our food finally came out in a big brown sack seeping with greasy wonderfulness. I ordered a double cheeseburger with onion, jalapenos, pickles, lettuce and bacon with an order of fries. I murdered the fries in ketchup anticipating that first bite and it was everything my tired-of-being-in-a-car-ass was craving. Crunch, nosh, nom. It was a great start to an awesome concert, so that I wasn't tempted by all the overpriced nonsense they were selling there. Walking out, of course I had to grab a few peanuts so I could snack on them later. I'm really going to work hard not to forget about them the next time I want a really good burger and fries, but with so many options in my hometown it will be hard. This location, just the one at 116th, is run by non English speaking staff that are rude and want to stare you down. Slow??? If it were any slower, I could have read War and Peace while waiting. First time to a Five Guys! This was an awesome location to stop at while shopping. Very busy! even at 3pm. I had a little burger (still plenty big enough for me!) and regular fries which was a really good burger! I am super impressed! I'd always heard good things just never tried it. Love that you can choose your toppings. Cajun fries are also good if you like a little spice. Overall great experience! Would have given 5 stars except the restaurant was pretty dirty. We had to wipe off a table to sit down and they were all like that and there was food all over the floor, even at the table where we were sitting. read more
