I made a DoorDash pick up order for five guys and unfortunately a lot of the items in my order were wrong on the same item which did not provide me the best experience with five Guys. When I came my order still wasn't ready even I ordered them 30 mins prior and the app indicated the order would be ready. The workers were kind so I waited but when I came home and opened my order I was throughly disappointed. We ordered one of the items to be lettuce wrapped and it wasn't and it was also missing the extra patty ordered. My burger bowl also had pickles which I did not want since I'm allergic to it and was also missing the extra patty I ordered from. This made my overall experience and impression of this location less than good since I usually expect the best out of five guys! I really wish they would pay attention more to their online orders. His got a Bacon Cheeseburger with mushrooms and onion. But there a lots of choices as you can see in one of the photos. Hmmm I'm torn for this review. We came here starving for a quick meal. I had never had 5 guys before and my wife was in total shock. When we walked in, the place was dead so I was like ok? Could be lucky or could it be not good food. The staff was friendly. There was peanuts in a box when you walk in line. Again a little weird to me? Anywho, we walked up to order. My wife ordered a double bacon burger, small fries and a cheese hotdog. Apparently the staples of 5 guys burgers. The order took about 10 minutes. So already, not the same as fast food. I'm ok with that. The food was finally done! The first thing my wife asked me was, were the fries over flowing and in the bag? Apparently that's normal. I had other friends tell me about how the grease goes through the bag. I didn't really see that. Anyway the burgers were a nice size. 9 bucks for a double burger. Don't get me wrong, the burgers were small, but the lettuce bacon, tomatoes etc... plumped up the burger. The meat itself, was not seasoned well. Again, the toppings apparently save the burger. The fries were good, crispy and big. They give you malt vinegar to dip. The cheese dog was good, again, seems like a cheaper hotdog, non kosher with cheese which made it bigger. Everything was good. Although I like Five guys it's been awhile since I was in this one. Have to say I don't think I'll be back. Place is loud to start with, all the tile and then add in the music playing loud and you can't have a conversation without talking louder than normal to be heard. The music playing wasn't for customers but for the staff, again a bad idea. The service seemed slower than normal, not a lot, but enough to notice. This was the first time I have been in since they closed for remodeling a while back. I can't tell what was done looks the same to me other than getting coke machines. Then after waiting for my number to be called this thin black girl with braids and glasses just stares at me! I'm assuming that bag is for me!? Five Guys is a chain that turns out excellent fries and an entirely decent burger. Like with any chain restaurant, not all properties are created equal. The fries are excellent, my only wish is that Five Guys would offer some option to potato fries. Zucchini fries, fried mushrooms, fried pickles, or sweet potato fries...anything a bit less starchy would be awesome. Although I totally get wanting to keep the menu flat and simple. I give my burger high marks with one bizarre minor ding. The cheese wasn't properly melted. In point of fact, I've never had a Five Guys burger where the cheese was melted properly. It was like a slice of Velveeta with cold, crumbly bits on the edge. Everything else was excellent, the bacon was perfect, the lettuce, tomato and pickle were crisp and fresh. My family loves five guys. It is a little pricey but the food is fresh and made to order which I love. The fries are so good. There are so many great hardworking employees at this location. There is always someone cleaning the dining room. And I've gone back twice recently and both times the kindest most helpful employee named Maya made the experience so great. In fact, I asked for her name because I wanted to make a point to give her a shout out. She came to our table to see if we needed anything. Honestly super disappointed with this location - I've been going to Five Guys for years and have always been able to justify the price because the food quality is usually good. However, this location isn't great. My "Cajun" fries have literally almost no seasoning at all on them, they're the soggiest fries ever, and the cheese on my cheeseburger isn't even melted. I now know the difference between the little and regular five guys burger. The young man at the register tonight let me know the regular bacon cheese burger had better flavor since it comes with double patties. So my daughter and I both had a regular bacon cheese burger and they were delicious. We had them simple with lettuce and extra pickles (and mine got tomatoes) and they had so much flavor. Five Guys in Legacy Place is a typical set up for this burger chain. The company is known for their delicious hamburgers, but their hot dogs and sandwiches are also very good too. I think that Five Guys has figured out that a simple menu works out for the best. I have been to this location (and many others) several times and have always been impressed with how fast the line moves and how the crew works hard to get each order correct. That can't be easy, but so far, my order has been wrong only once. I can live with that. There is no drive-thru, thank heaven. My only complaint is the acoustics when dining inside amplify sound. The loud voices of people, especially children yelling makes me cringe. But, that is what happens with an interior build-out of concrete and plate glass. I usually order through the 5-Guys app and go to the pick up counter now. I like that better. I have only seen this place in a mess once, and there was nothing that the crew could have done about it until the line got shorter. Some family of slobs were lingering around after they had finished eating watching their kids throw food on the floor and spill a large drink. After-which, they left. Just like that, leaving the food wrappers and sacks on the table. Again, I can't blame the restaurant management for allowing slobs inside, but it does make me wonder how people get through life being so inconsiderate. Oh yeah, these are the same people that are hygienically challenged and scoop up the free peanuts with their hands instead of using the scoop and trays. There's only one bad thing about Five Guys Burgers. It has turned me into a burger snob. The irony of a fast food joint having better burgers than most any other restaurant is not lost on me. Sure, they offer other things here (hotdogs, grilled cheese), but no one goes to a Five Guys for the grilled cheese. If you want the best burger around, you want a Five Guys burger. I don't care what fancy bar and grill you go to or how many five star chefs they have, they will not match a Five Guys burger. The cajun fries are also stellar, but you had better bring your appetite and something to wipe your brow, they're nice and spicy. If you come here at noon on a weekday, be ready for a wait (~10 minutes is not unusual). You can also call ahead if you do not want to stand in line to order! The free roasted peanuts they have to snack on while waiting kind of make the wait worth it, though. Was late and ordered online. When I got there the cashiers first response was a grunt and asked me what I wanted like I was inconveniencing her. I asked if everything was okay and she snapped 4 people had called in. Then when handed my food I kindly asked for ketchup, your worker said I had to wait until he made some meals for others, I had enough and firmly asked for ketchup as I was not going to let my food get cold and again he was inconvenienced and went in the back to get some from the back. And now the kicker my food was wrong, ordered a double patty with bacon and I got a single with mustard and mayo. Sad to say this is the 2nd time in the past month.
