Came on a Friday night with a group of 21 people. They were beyond accommodating, putting us in the back room where the fireplace mantle is at. We had one server who was phenomenal. For him to be able to take an order of 21 people get everything correct the food to come out within a minute or two of each other for all of us kudos to the kitchen on that aspect, and was still able to get our bills correctly divided is mind blowing. The food was phenomenal. They had a live band come on at 9 o'clock at night the Andrew Morris band and they were a great cover band that played almost every genre of music. I got the corn beef sandwich and it was beautiful. The corned beef and swish was melted to perfection. Totally forgot to take a picture because it looks so good and I was hungry. Highly recommend and will be coming back.

After eating here for the first time last week, I kicked myself for not having eaten here sooner. If you ever had a bad experience at Paddy Mac's I don't know what you ordered but TRY AGAIN! We came in around 830pm, the Kill Billies band was setting up to begin their set and the place had about 25 customers. We were greeted immediately, seated and brought warm, homemade scones with Irish butter (Read that again!) We ordered corned beef and cabbage and soup to start. If this was all they sold, I would still come back. That's how good it was (and they'd have to keep the scones of course). We ordered Fish and chips and Shepard's Pie for entrees--I mean everything was a home run! When the band started playing rockabilly Irish twinged folky music live?!?! I never wanted to leave. I was in Heaven. Service was fantastic (we were even offered more scones on the house and we responded with a resounding g hell yeah!!) I can't wait to go back. The ambiance was just perfect and if I was still a drinker I would have had a Guinness Extra Stout on tap to top off the night! It felt good to give a bar vibe restaurant that's been around for many years in PBC a five star review! They earned every star! Another review giving it to you straight no chaser. -Enjoy!

Took my son and his friend for lunch. We had a great time and enjoyed the food and drinks. I thought it would be fun to mix things up and do a "pub thing" for lunch. As you would expect, this is an Irish pub and the interior is cozy and warm. The music is Irish and at a nice volume. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. We got the run down on the potato chips which sold us to try them. The scones are fantastic to nibble on while waiting on your order. We had Guinness and Harps to get going. As always, they were perfectly pulled. We all ordered the corned beef sandwich and were pleased. They have a new to me side of house-made potato chips. They are thin and crispy. Literally they are crisp and crunch. We were blown away. But back to the corned beef. They cook it in house and make sure to limit the fat when serving it. But you gotta keep the fat for cooking; fat equals flavor! What a sandwich! Never been treated better and always amazing food with perfectly pulled beers! Do yourself a favor and swing by. Order anything but try a side of their potato chips!

Ground Chuck Beef Slider

This restaurant SCREAMS Irish Pub. The decor, the owner (or manager, maybe host not sure; he was just obviously Irish from his accent) and obviously the food. We started off trying their Corned Beef and Swiss Fritters along with their Ground Chuck Beef Slider. The fritters were good and probably my favorite thing we tried that evening. The slider is just ONE slider. We didn't notice on the menu that it's not plural so we were shocked when only one slider came out. It was good but not great. The fritters were $15 and the slider was $9. We also got a basket of scones that come with the table and those were surprisingly really good! Very buttery and soft with a hint of sweetness from the raisins. For entrees we had the Shepherd's Pie and the Fish and Chips. Both were okay. The Shepherd's Pie was fine, I think it just had too much herbs for our liking. The fish in the fish and chips was fried cod. Again, it was fine but kind of bland. I believe that's standard for it to be simple since you're supposed to dip into tartar sauce but I didn't really like the tartar sauce. It didn't add enough flavor for me. Tasted too much like mayo. Our server was very friendly. Everyone is actually super nice! They hold the door open for you when you're entering and existing which I thought was a nice change that makes them standout in terms of customer service.

What a Gem of a Pub!! So glad we stumbled upon this Pub during one of our impromptu date nights! If you like Pubs and Irish fare, this is a Great one to walk into and stumble out of. Whether you enjoyed a few Pints or filled up on food, either way you're leaving with a Smile!! Clean, Comfortable and completely authentic! To the owner and fabulous staff: Sláinte!! P.s. Also not photographed was the Scones and the Smoked fish dip! Both equally delicious as our entrees! We will be back!

The mixed Grill was huge. It included sausages, roast pork over some potato Patty, a couple of delicious mushrooms, a baked tomato with a serving of black pudding and some crunchy toast. It was way too much food for the two of us so our huge lunch is turning into dinner for me. We did a little shopping at Publix after lunch and the owner bumping to me and asked me how lunch was. Of course I told him it was fantastic. He thanked me for our business and asked us to return. Always nice to know that our patronage is appreciated. Definitely going back next time I'm in town!

Seriously over priced

Absurd prices. Knob Creek was presented on their bottom shelf. It's $30 for 750ml at current prices. They charge $16.75 for it on the rocks as of Nov '23. Highway robbery.

This was not prime rib! It was a thin, extremely tough piece of raw roast beef with a $32 price tag!

I took my sister and our elderly lady friend out for dinner at Paddy Mac's while in town visiting. We sat on the patio because the inside was filled with a bunch of screaming young boys that were part of a youth soccer team. This wasn't a big deal since it was a nice night to sit outside. We started out with the crab stuffed mushrooms and 3 glasses of wine, which were all fine. Then we all ordered the dinner special, Prime Rib prepared medium rare, but what we received was as thin piece of raw beef that as tough as shoe leather. In fact, when we tried to saw through our pieces of meat, our plates moved all around the table. Prime rib is supposed to be tender! When we complained, the waiter apologized and took the beef back to the kitchen to cook more but it still came back tough and not at all like a tender piece of prime rib. The waiter then asked us if we wanted to try replacement and we agreed but it too was undercooked and too tough to chew. We told the waiter that we were still not satisfied and wanted to order something else. This is where things got ugly. Several minutes later the owner came to our table, but he did not apologize or offer a solution. Instead, he immediately started yelling at us stating that we are wasting his money and demanded that we pay for the full price for our meals. Then he stormed off into the restaurant. I decided to go inside and asked to speak with the owner privately. I could tell by the scowl on his face that he was still very angry and that made me feel very uncomfortable. I explained that we would pay for the appetizer and wine that we consumed but that we had no intention of paying for the raw pieces of tough beef that was served to us. He said nobody else had complained about his beef so we had to pay for it and if we didn't, he would call the police on us! I told him to go right ahead and call the police. It wasn't like we were attempting to walk out without paying anything and I'd be more than happy to explain our side to the police. At this point, he pretended to call the police and then started to yell and call me a bunch of curse words in front of a watching audience of staff and customers. I couldn't believe he was so enraged and was being so belligerent. I returned to our table and waited with my sister and lady friend for the police to arrive while he stood several feet away glaring at us and continuing to call us names. Of course, the police never arrived. Finally, the waiter came over with our bill for the appetizer and glasses of wine sans the raw beef entrees. Apparently, the owner finally realized his bluff was not working and that we were not intimidated by his rudeness and bad behavior. I paid the $66+ bill with my credit card and gave the waiter a $20 cash tip for his efforts. Afterall, it wasn't his fault his boss acted like a jerk. Plus, I didn't want to take the chance that the owner would keep the tip from the waiter. Upon leaving, the owner growled at us and said to "never darken his door again", which we responded, "don't worry, we won't!"

I will say I was underwhelmed by the whole experience and happy I wasn't paying for the lunch because it was not up to the quality of how expensive it was. The waitress was extremely slow on providing refills and when I asked for suggestions she only talked about the oysters and nothing outside of the starters lineup on the menu. The restaurant was pretty empty for lunch so I thought she would've been more on top of it. We ordered some oysters which were decent but I've had better on palm beach island. The crab cake was probably the only item I was thinking wow this is good. The salmon was lacking flavor and quality so I barely touched it. It was also extremely cold inside and the music was blasting. The waitress just seemed ready to keep up charging us by pushing us to order more such as coffee and dessert and not checking in on us through the meal. I would honestly skip out on this restaurant and go to La marina or another Palm beach restaurant and actually get your moneys worth.

Everything from the ambiance to the food and even the service was phenomenal. Great dining room area with both an outdoor and indoor bar. We sat with the bartender AB that immediately greeted us with waters and their menu. They are currently running a pick 2 for $15.99 menu that has some pretty great options. We had 2 meals & chose the wings, blackened shrimp po boy with the small gumbo's. Wings were super crispy, juicy, and tender. With a nice light Smokey taste. They buffalo and blue cheese sauce was actually pretty impressive. The po boy had a good amount of shrimp to bread ratio, with a nice sauce included. The gumbo had a deep rich flavor, but was not overly heavy with fatty meats. We were also informed of the happy hour oyster special, so we ended up getting a few of the rockerfella and raw. The rockerfella was amazing with melty cheese, a nice garlic flavor, & served with crispy bread slices. The raw came with crackers, lemon, wine vinegar, and a tasty cocktail sauce. Both were delicious. Marco, the manager came and spoke with us about our experience which really showed the attention to detail this restaurant offers. After sharing our story of visiting New Orleans a few years ago and bragging about the beignets, he brought us 2 out to finish our meal. I have to say, these were better than the ones I've had at cafe beignet in NOLA. They were HOT out the fryer to the point where the powdered sugar was slightly melted. Crisp outside dough but gooey soft in the center. A unreal experience to end a fantastic meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Luckily my sister lives 5 mins from this place but I would easily drive a hour or 2 when visiting from out of town just for this experience. Marco and AB really went above and beyond to make sure this was a special outing on a regular ole' Monday, and we could not have left happier.

The New Orleans vibe was absolutely on point and set the tone for a great meal. Our waitress was fantastic--friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the menu. She recommended her favorite dish, and it ended up becoming my favorite too. Now, I'm a country boy, so the deviled eggs just weren't my style, but everything else more than made up for it. The cornbread was incredible. Honestly, I couldn't decide if I was eating cake or cornbread--it was that good. The barbecue shrimp was outstanding and easily one of my favorite dishes (our waitress clearly has great taste!). The fried oysters were cooked to perfection, and the baked chicken was seasoned and prepared just right. The gator tail was great with the sauce. I've had scalloped potatoes many times over the years, but these were on another level--definitely some for the record books. If you're looking for great food, an authentic New Orleans atmosphere, and excellent service, Voodoo is absolutely worth the visit.

It's low-key tucked away in Palm Beach Gardens, but once you're in, it's giving "why don't more people know about this?" energy. Now let's get into brunch--because this place understands the assignment. The shrimp and grits? Elite. Bold, rich, perfectly balanced. The kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and rethink your life choices--mainly why you haven't been eating this more often. The shakshouka is flavorful, comforting, and executed cleanly. And the waffles... listen--these waffles are not here to play. Crispy, fluffy, and dangerously easy to finish. Order them knowing full well you're not sharing. The menu truly lives up to the idea of "a taste of everything." There's so much to choose from that decision paralysis is real--but in a fun way. No bad options, just tough choices. The vibe is on point. Modern, warm, stylish without being loud about it. The kind of place that feels just as right for brunch as it does for a relaxed dinner. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and actually happy to be there--no bad attitudes, no weird energy. The manager is hands-on, professional, and clearly runs a tight (but chill) ship. Is it a little tucked away? Yes. Is it worth finding? Absolutely. Consider it a hidden gem with main-character energy. Bottom line: Great food. Strong brunch game. Beautiful space. Solid service. 12:30om, 3/18/2026…read more Ambience = Steady, lunch crowd in the bar. Yet not phonetic or chaotic. Good, chill vibe. 4-5 high top tables for two. At the bar- nice personal space and hooks for purses. Nice place to perch my feet and store my obnoxiously long golf umbrella. Perfect atmosphere for a chilly, rain date lunch with spouse. Balance of business professionals, "ladies who lunch", and a few couples. The bar reminds me a of nicer Las Vegas resort hotel bar. One TV showing Golf TV. Food = We've eaten at J.Alex since their soft open moons ago. The dishes are always consistent quality. Today hub's was jonesing for a French dip. I was craving their Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich. We both order their shoestring fries. We're slowly enjoyed each other's company and our lunches. We immensely enjoyed our meals. Service = Good. Our bartender didn't offer his name, and we weren't on our game to ask his name. However, he did a good job. He quickly came over and put down black napkin placemats with napkin rolled utensils and offered water while we skimmed the menu. Beverages were served quick. Food order quick and complete. We never had to ask for extra sides as he brought them all out with the meals- ketchups (If you like an abundant serving, ask when you place your order. They use small 2 oz stainless steel ramekins.), horseradish sauce, a side of blue cheese (to dip my fries in ), and my Nashville hot sauce on the side. Check came quick too. We ask and learned that they do not offer a Happy Hour. However, they offer very large pour martinis with a side car waiting for you for the price of one. He said late afternoons they have very happy and loyal regulars! We've been dining at "J.A." since their soft open many moons ago. They have always offered well trained staff. J.Alexander's has always offered great service. However, for some with low vision may find the back of the restaurant a little dark. Bathrooms are clean. There is an outside, screened over bar area as well. My extra bullet points: Value = Yes! High quality, consistent food, great staff and fair price for the experience. The BIG question: Will we return? Yes! We are every other month "regulars". During COVID, they were able to pivot their business to keeping their doors up keeping people employed and offered service to the community. HIGH GIVE! We'll be back. Cheers! Tip: Be sure to make reservations especially during holiday weekends, PGA golf classic weekends and "Season" for tables. If they're booked, Bonefill Grill is directly next door as "back up". Get there early for parking as the lot fills up fast for dinner with several restaurants sharing the same lot. The valet situation on arrival was confusing. The line was long, no one explained whether tickets were given, and several guests were just leaving their cars without guidance. We waited until we reached the front to be sure, but never received a ticket. At the end, the valet asked for one, we said we hadn't gotten it, and thankfully he was still able to locate our car. The ambiance and outdoor patio were beautiful and made for a perfect waterfront anniversary dinner. The hostesses and wait staff surprised us with an anniversary card, which was such a thoughtful touch. We debated between splitting a bottle of wine or trying the prickly pear margaritas and chose the margarita, but it was overwhelmingly sweet and tasted more like fruit punch than a cocktail. We then ordered two glasses of red wine with dinner, but they arrived about ten minutes late, after we had already eaten most of the meal, and they were served ice cold. I don't mind slightly chilled red, but this tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for days, which was disappointing. The food, however, was excellent. The crazy tuna roll, crab cakes, and ribeye were all delicious, and the ribeye was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was kind but didn't really guide us through the menu beyond saying everything was great. A bit more detail would've helped, especially since I wouldn't have ordered the margarita had I known how sweet it was. Overall, we would definitely come back.
