I love this place! For their consistency in delivering a juicy burger and fries. I love when I walk in, I get a greeted by a smiling cashier -- which throws you off your game, because you don't expect it. They act like they are genuinely happy to see me and take my order! My burger, of course is special because I get to add, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, pickles (lots) and sometimes mushrooms. I always get the 'baby burger' which is just right and small fries, which 2 people can share. Love their soda machine. Once you learn how to use it -- its great! The worst service. I ordered 3 of the EXACT SAME burger. There were no other customers and I got 3 burgers, one with all of the toppings and the rest plain. They then told me they could give me the toppings on the side so I could make my own burger. When we asked them to remake it they gave me a disgusting attitude. I always order using the app on my phone, so the burgers are ready by time I get there and they drop the fries once I'm there so they're nice hot and fresh...their fries rock! that's all I personally eat there. I get the burgers for my man & his staff at work...all I can say is they inhale them so must be great burgers. I prefer this Pines location over any other (I drive from I95 area of Hollywood here instead of closer location) because everyone during the day/afternoon in Pines is friendly and outgoing! and of course since I have to drive back to Hollywood my car smells like fries for few days after...yum!!!! lol read more

Although I always love me some five guys, there is nothing like the original location in Kendall. All others just don't match up. This specific location, they had great service and were very patient with us as we were choosing our toppings. I love the fact that you have a variety of toppings to choose from and can make it as full or as empty as you want. However, the burgers were a little greasy and the meat was a little overdone. But, still a very decent burger.The fries are good and they give a decent size. I've always been a fan of the free peanuts. Would I run out of my way to come here? Not necessarily, but if I were in the area and craving my burger, sure why not. read more

I finally was able to try this place for lunch today. I had the bacon cheeseburger which is my go to burger to try a place out. I ordered with mayo ketchup mustard pickle lettuce and tomato. I have to say I was pretty impressed. The patties were perfectly cooked, not dripping with grease, and not over seasoned with salt. Lettuce was crispy and the tomatoes were fresh. The dill pickles were marcelled rather than smooth and had a nice crunchy crispness. The other condiments were in nice proportion to each other....just the right amounts of each for flavor and not too much so as to result in a soggy bun. Very nicely built burger! It did not fall apart while eating it, which i hate as much as a soggy bun. The only slight negative was that the cheese could have been more evenly melted. I dont think they put the cheese on the patties until they build the sandwhich. Had the cheese been put on the patties while they were still on the grill it would have been near perfect! I really like the fact that they do not over use the condiments which allows all the different flavors to shine. The fries were pretty good, though I did not care for the cajun fries. I prefer just salt so will order plain next time. The quality of taste and doneness of the fries was very good: not soggy, overcooked, or too greasy. If i ever go back (I have basically cut fast food and beef from my diet) I will get the single patty version, which they call the "little" burger. I need to try smashburger again to compare and also burgerfi, which I have never been too. I should also mention that the cashiere was very friendly, efficient, and welcoming. service was quick and the food prep area was clean as were the cooks. Inwas impressed with what I saw. If you have not been there, you can clearly see the food being prepared, which was pretty cool. Great experience from that standpoint as well. Overall, I REALLY enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger, one of my favorite things to indulge in a few times a year. read more

Delicious comfort food, and great customer service! When I visited this restaurant I got the sense that I was getting served at a BBQ in a friends backyard. That's the best way I could describe it. That one good friend who is known for their amazing home cooked meals. The restaurant can get a bit crowded. It's a small store even the employees sometimes look a bit claustrophobic but other than that great place and best burgers I've had in a while!
