Five Guys is the epitome of feel-good food. Every time I walk in, I literally feel good. Quality and quantity are definitely #1 with this burger chain. Patties are always fresh and nicely cooked. I personally am a fan of Five Guys' flat top patties. They develop such a great texture which compliments their soft buns. As other have mentioned the fries are bomb...when done right. Sometimes they're a little under-cooked but baby when they're nice and crispy and tossed in Cajun seasoning, they are amazing!!! Portion sizes all around are huge. I just wish I could remember the regular burgers are actually doubles! Like literally 2 patties and 2 slices of cheese. So mental note: if you're looking for a good size burger, order the little. Arrived here craving fries and ended up trying their burger as the great aroma overpowered me. I wasn't too hungry so I opted for the mini-hamburger and the regular fries. I ordered the jalapeno and grilled onions as toppings on the burger. The place was busy on a weeknight around 8pm. After waiting 8-10 minutes they called my number. It's located in a shopping center off Pines Blvd and Hiatus Road -- there's a Walgreens nearby - as well as Chipotle, Pei Wei and Panera. Went for dinner tonight (Wednesday), and found out after asking the cashier they only opened on Monday. Things ran so smoothly, that if they hadn't told me, I would've thought they've been open for much longer. Ordered Little Bacon Cheeseburger and Fries - and was very satisfied. Only complaint - seating is kinda cramped. Either take out a few tables to give us room to breathe after stuffing our faces, or get a bigger place. Comparing IN-N-Out to Five Guys is like comparing Vegas to South Beach. Both great, but on two totally different levels of greatness, and thousands of miles apart so wherever you are, you only get one or the other so why compare? Best burger place ever, and I LOVE BURGERS!!! I have eaten at this chain all up and down the eastern states, Jersey, DC area, (a few years back) and now welcome to south Florida, yah! I usually eat at the Midtown location and have only been to this one once. Every location I have been to is a lil cramped, so if you don't like having your chair/table bumped a few times during rush eating hours this is not your place. Personally the burgers are so good I could sit with strangers and still enjoy it. I can never get enough of their fresh patties, and seemingly unlimited thoughtful toppings (not offered at In-N-Out) including fresh jalapeno *YES!*, grilled or chopped onions, and hot sauce lol. The burger comes wrapped up in foil (unlike the IN-N-Out wax paper) which holds all the nice "burger sweat" in until you're ready to open it and makes everything nice and gooey. When I'm done with a Five Guys little bacon cheeseburger of lettuce, onions, pickles, jalapeno, ketchup, mustard, and a side of Cajun fries poured over the bag dipped in ketchup and Vinegar (OMG!) I want to lick the foil and if people weren't around I probably would. And I love how they tell you where your potatoes come from on the wall. I have no idea why, but I always like it being there. The only thing I have to say about this particular location is they skimp on the fries like no other I have visited in South Florida or any other state. I'm used to them filling up the cup, and then dumping another batch on top of that. Enough four a couple, and a group of three girls easy. This location had me and my bf's fries neatly in the cup with barely any stragglers so at the end we were fighting over fry crumbs (VERY UN-FIVE GUYS LIKE). As a current west coast resident.... I now have In-N-Out to feed my burger cravings. If I were in the east coast I guess I'd have to rely on Five Guys due to the fact that there aren't really many places to choose from with awesome burgers. I have always loved Five Guys for their famous burgers. I first tried them when they were first brought to Orlando years ago so when they branched out to South Florida I was ecstatic. I frequently visit the Pembroke Pines and Hiatus location which is always friendly and great with customer service. I have rarely had an issue with the food orders and they are usually always on point. They are also a Keto friendly facility so if you tell them to hold the bun they will give you the toppings all on the side and you can basically make yourself a custom Keto Burger for yourself. I had a Bacon Cheeseburger, no bun, with Mayo, Mustard, Lettuce, Cheese and a side of Cajun spices which acts as a great option to get the full flavor of Five Guys and not feel guilty about eating the worlds greasiest fries!!! They are good, but are currently a no no for me considering the low carb diet. read more

So many people were raving about Five Guys to me but I had never taken the time to check it out. Finally me and my kid (biggest burger critic in the world!) stopped during a busy lunch hour. Five Guys lives up to the word. Pretty simple, they have great burgers and fries. They offer an abundance of toppings as options. We both went with the Little Burger because we were told that the portions are extremely large. We were stuffed! Don't order individual sides of fries. Buy just one regular sized order for 1-3 people. The large order alone can feed a tribe! The pines location was quick and friendly even during peak hours which is always great too. read more

A good friend took me to one of their locations in the Northern VA area years ago and was really excited when they expanded into Florida. Let's start with this, I am a big fan of the 5 guys chain...but the location in Pembroke Pines is a whole other story... The staff is poorly trained, and has even worse attitudes. I am not sure I have ever seen a manager. The last 3 trips, I keep saying will be my last. All take out orders that I attempt to confirm before leaving. Every single time the burgers are made incorrectly and the fries barely cooked. Today's trip, asked them to make sure the burgers we're cooked well done with no pink or reddish meat...as I watched them put the burgers on the buns I asked again...well done on those?? I've been to a lot of five guys. I usually go to the one in Aventura mall or the one in midtown. We all decided to go to this one because it was very close by and we figured.. Why not? Messy burgers are usually the best burgers but it was a little too greasy for my taste. But even though it's really greasy... I can't seem to find any other burger joint that matches this one.
