    Little Cheeseburger
    Emily G.

Yooo this was my first time eating at five guys and wow the burger was FIRE! i can't believe you can request as many toppings as you want. I got the little cheeseburger (plus pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, and ketchup)- yep remember to order the condiments ! Also got a regular sized fries which is big enough to share between two people ! pro tip: Mix the ketchup and malt vinegar for a great dipping sauce !

Working hard to get your order ready.

This review is for a take out order in March of 2026…read more All of the food was very good! The wagyu burger was very flavorful. However, the proper burger with a runny egg and bacon was a top 3 DMV burger. The ribs hit the spot and the sauce is a nice all around sweet bbq sauce. The honey Sriracha wings were also great. More honey and less heat from the Sriracha than I was expecting. The truffle Mac was very good. I see why it's priced at 14$. At first I was like that's craziness but after having it. It's worth the price. Very good meal for the family for around $120.

Which is a shame because I really wanted to LOVE it, especially given the location. A three star rating isn't bad, it's average, and that's what I thought of this place. French onion soup had potential, the cheesy toast with it was good, but then the cheese in the soup was melted to the bottom of the toast & not broiled like you'd expect. The truffle Mac & cheese was great! My burger also had potential, but was slightly undercooked for my taste. Taken with liberty was ok, but was just missing something, maybe a side of au jus or crisp lettuce instead of arugula. Fries were hot & fresh, nice and crispy. Also got a CUBANO "TORTA" MILANES to-go because they were out of brisket, but that was just eh.

The name tells you they love hot dogs too! And there is a variety of them! There is a hamburger menu too so be sure to look at the whole menu! I created my own dog with just sauerkraut, with a side of fries and onion rings. It was brought out hot and ready! Very good food. I also ordered an old fashioned that was very smooth. I ordered the Fonz Italian Sausage layered with pastrami (seemed like lunch meat) and melted cheese on top. I think it was provolone. Served on a toasted bun. Filling and satisfying, good flavor. The hot fries was a regular order of fries served with an imbalanced sprinkle sort of dumped on the top layer of fries and not distributed all the way through, which had an extra cost of $2 for the sprinkle of spices, which was an annoying difference in price in my opinion. Solid options for beer and a few ciders. Full bar as well. TVs on the walls only showing sports. You get a table number, order at the counter, pay, and they bring it out to the table number. Casual spot. My immediate thoughts...this place is overpriced. My sausage dog, fries and cider came to $26, plus tax, so about $31 bucks. I repeat, $31 bucks. I honestly felt as though the place was price gauaging. A few other people at my table mentioned the prices and thought they were overpriced. Not much service received, just them bringing the order out. Food was yummy, but I'm not convinced about the value. I have had sausage dogs, hot dogs, fries and beer around the world and I feel this place was overpriced. I like the atmosphere because its a perfect place for casual dining and decent for groups.

Glenwood delivered that excellent dinner this week and it deserves all the stars I can muster up. I had the Ahi Tuna Salad. Delicious, fresh, crispy, and with some of the best sushi-grade tuna I have ever put in my mouth. It was a great entree salad and this is the 2nd time I have had it. You know what, there will definitely be a 3rd time too. But, the diva of this meal was definitely what my spouse got. The incredible, edible rotisserie chicken pot pie!!! OMG this dish was crazy good, so good that I wish I had made it. The crust was the best crust I have ever had in my entire life bar none. It was crisp, flavorful and a little bit doughy. Its taste was great all by itself. But let there be no doubt - the filling was top notch too. Creamy, luxurious with crisp, fresh vegetables and big hunks of rotisserie chicken. It was the BEST! Thank God my spouse shared some with me because it was life changing (ok maybe that's a bit dramatic but you get my drift). The service matched the food. Erika was our server. She was so bubbly, friendly, helpful, smart and hard working. Glenwood is not a haute cuisine restaurant but the service we got from Erika matched the best restaurant service anywhere. That woman can do anything anywhere. I would hire her in a minute. Glenwood is one of those places that has hit its stride and I'm damn glad that I stumbled upon it. I highly recommend - NO - I demand that you go to Glenwood immediately. You will not be disappointed.

After taking my wife here for her birthday, I decided to come back and see if the experience would…read morebe just as good--or perhaps even better--than our first visit. Service got off to a slow start this time. It took long enough that my daughter eventually got up to find our server so we could get water. There was also some initial confusion about how we wanted the check split, but once that was sorted out, our server was attentive, friendly, and did an excellent job. We have no complaints about the service after that point. We ordered several of the same appetizers as our previous visit: the Artichoke & Spinach Dip and the Crispy Thai Brussels. We also tried the Crabby Fries, which weren't on the menu during our last visit. All three appetizers were fantastic and just as memorable as before. Three of us ordered drinks. I had a Bloody Mary, and while it wasn't quite as impressive as the one I had during my previous visit, it was still enjoyable. As for the food, I'll start with the few disappointments. My wife ordered a fish dish and upgraded to the crispy potatoes, which are excellent when prepared properly. Unfortunately, the fish was placed directly on top of the potatoes, leaving them soggy rather than crispy by the time the dish reached the table. That was especially disappointing considering the additional charge for the upgrade. On our last visit, two Steak Frites orders were overcooked. This time, my daughter ordered the same dish and requested medium-rare, assuming it might come out a little over. Instead, it arrived rare. Fortunately, she was fine with it. My parents both ordered the Black & Bleu Penne, and while the filet tips in both dishes were overcooked, they remained surprisingly juicy. Another member of our party ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and was disappointed by the soggy bread and somewhat lackluster flavor. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, and it was very good. It wasn't a traditional Chicken Marsala as I'm accustomed to, but it was flavorful, unique, and ultimately satisfying. After two visits, here's my overall impression: the service has been consistently good, though not exceptional. The flavors, however, have been outstanding every time. The kitchen clearly knows how to develop great flavors, and that consistency keeps us coming back. If you're ordering a steak dish, just be aware that the final temperature may not always be exactly as requested. That said, we've visited with large groups both times--eight people on our first visit and seven on our second--so it's possible some dishes spend extra time waiting in the window while the rest of the order is completed. Overall, this is a solid 4.5-star restaurant in our opinion. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't allow half-star ratings, so I'm giving it 4 stars. Despite a few execution issues, the food quality and flavor are strong enough that we'd gladly return again.
