Got off work tonight and went straight to 5 guys with 35 minutes to spare, we both knew we'd finished in time before they closed. We were super hungry. Benjamin greeted us with an annoyed face and demeanor. Thought that was off putting already, gave him our order, tipped him 20%. We sat and waited for our food, got it and sat down and started eating. Five minutes into eating our food Benjamin said loudly "we are closing in 15 minutes!" to his Co worker who was about a foot away, then the rest of the conversation couldn't be heard. I thought that was pretty rude and honestly made me want to take my tip back. My bf finished his burger shortly after the comment, but I decided to take the rest of mine home. I work in the industry too and get annoyed when people come in maybe 10-15 before closing too sometimes, but I'm not rude about it. Burgers here were subpar, my cheese wasn't even melted. I normally love five guys and at every location I have gone to about an hour to half an hour before closing (due to my work schedule) I've never not had a burger that didn't taste fantastic, til tonight. FIVE GUYS!!!!! What can I say that doesn't make sound like I own thw joint. Five guys is my second favorite burger spot. King of the smash burgers. It's hard not to come running once you begin craving that greasy bun with all the fixins. Ordering and atmosphere is pretty straight forward, but that's not why you come here. It's those delicious two beef patties with cheese. Lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, and mustard. I like it simple. If I had one knock on five guys it's there fries. I really don't like them. I would give 0 stars if I could... I have ordered at this location a few times and each time the food was absolutely horrible. I ordered 3 burgers, more than half of the ingredients were missing on all 3 and the burgers were burnt and dry - also missing all condiments. Suggest you avoid this place as they refuse to accept responsibility for orders that are not properly prepared. We ordered burgers and fries and they made a mess of our order. I called and spoke to Rachel (who identified herself as a manager). She took no responsibility and suggested I contact Uber Eats for resolution. Uber Eats did their job and delivered our meal as advertised. They did not prepare the food so the error is on Five Guys. Manager Rachel told me she had to contact her General Manager and I listened in the background to the call while she started melting down and blubbering to her boss about not knowing what to do. I would have been very satisfied with a credit back or a coupon or gift card mailed to me. After the cry baby call to her General Manager she gave me the tough luck news. These guys (all 5 of them) make a good burger. That's about all they offer. They have fries also. And they are very generous with the fries. A small is large enough for 2, unless you really like fries. But then you should order a small burger. What I'm trying to say is that they serve large portions. They have shelled peanuts to snack on while you wait for your food. Which doesn't take long. They make use of the bagged peanuts to form lane lines. They probably won't say anything to you if you throw your peanut shells on the floor, but I really don't think you're supposed to. That brings up cleanliness. They are clean. They do a lot good job of keeping things spick and span. You can count on what to expect no matter where you are when you go to 5 guys. They're like McDonald's. The food and service are consistent. The boys were sick of In and Out and convinced me to go here. The burgers were so good! I loved the options of toppings and one and two patty choices. They also have a malted milk shape option that hit home! We ordered four burgers, four shakes and two fries. Everything was hot and tasty. The only thing that would stop us from going more often would be the cost. It was a bit steep for a fast food choice, but for the quality and taste I would pay it again. Unorganized bunch of teenagers with no leader. Ordered online at 5:45pm, order confirmation says "will be ready for pickup in 15 minutes". Get to the store 14 minutes later, let them know what order i am picking up. They say "just waiting on the fries" which is normal as they make the fries when you get there and takes 2-3 minutes. It took them 22 more minutes to actually get froes into my bag. They filled new online orders, and pre existing online orders with fries as my bag of food just kept getting pushed to the back. After about 10 minutes I asked if they could just throw some fries in my bag so I can leave. I was told "we have another batch coming out soon" as they shoveled fresh fries into the garbage can right next to the fry station Never again. read more

I try to eat here at least once a month because I have eaten at Five Guys in California, Idaho, and other states so I know they can be one of the better gourmet fast food chains in the USA but after yesterdays experience, I might be running out of patience! Literally one of the best burger chains. I have never left a Five Guys dissappointed. This five guys was as good as ever. I get a burger (2 patties) with grilled onions, lettuce, and A1 sauce on the side (to dip my burger and my Cajun fries in). My husband gets a burger and is a big fan of their grilled jalapeños (says they're always the right spice level) and all the other fixings. Five Guys is the best because it's so easy to customize. I've never had them get an order wrong because you tell them exactly what you want on it. We happened to be running around in Queen Creek yesterday and stopped in here since we knew we weren't going to make curfew and we weren't sure what else might be opened! If I have to eat a hamburger Five Guys is one I won't complain about. This place was so clean, there was actually someone wiping down every chair, table and every other surface one could possibly touch. Covid-19 has definitely made eating out more enjoyable for me in a way because some businesses are really cleaning as I think they should have been doing all along. We were so hungry and these hamburgers were cooked so well, served really hot and they were ohh so good! Everyone was wearing a mask and I could see the kitchen crew taking all current precautions. I've eaten at every major burger chain in Arizona, and I can now say no one can beat Five Guys. Not only is it a good-sized real hamburger, but there are many toppings to choose from -- and they're all free! I was having a hard time deciding on toppings until I noticed that they wrapped my favorites (grilled onions, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, mustard, and ketchup) into one bundle called the All In. I usually get the small burger, which is one patty, but this time I got the regular hamburger, which is two big patties. My son got the bacon burger and customized it differently than mine. The prices are quite reasonable for what you get. My son tried the peanut butter milkshake, which is now one of his favorites. I haven't tried a shake yet, but will go back for a malt, since not many places make malts. The interior design of red, white, and wood always looks clean and neat. Love the stacks of potatoes designating an aisle on the floor. Their fries are fresh and tasty, although I usually salt them more. First time at 5 Guys today. My husband and I ordered the bacon Cheeseburger and fries. Burgers came missing half the condiments ordered such as onion and mushrooms. The patties were dry and hard as a hockey puck. The fries were cold and hard. With ordering a shake and small drink, Meal was more than $40. Save your money and eat somewhere else. Like fries with your salt? When I spoke to a manager and attempted to explain that the fries were inedible due to so much salt I was promptly cut off and told they salted them 2x as a standard. I pointed out that I'd eaten at Five Guys many times and they were not usually like this and that I observed their fry person dumping an inordinate amount on each order (2x) she didn't even acknowledge. I'd think proper customer service might call for observation of the complaint prior to assuming the guest is wrong, go figure.
