Simple menu but...outstanding burger! There are only a few items on the menu but don't let that fool you. This joint knows how to deliver on a great beef burger. My husband and I ordered their double UGB with sautéed onions and bacon. The sautéed onions and bacon were additional costs. This was a very juicy burger and so jam packed with flavor. My only gripe was with the bun. It was quite soggy so it does make it messy and difficult when you're trying to get everything in a bite. Nevertheless, I would come back and probably try their chicken burger next time. I didn't order their shake but it also looked super tasty. The inside of the restaurant is small and quite basic but there are chairs and tables with condiments outside. The service was friendly and we waited about 10 minutes for our food. It seems that everything was made to order. Definitely check out this place if you're in the area. It is for sure a hidden gem in Queen Creek!

The burgers were ok, service could've been better. Price was a bit steep for both of the issues above. The bigger issue was, about half way through my burger there was paper from either the cheese, or the meat patty in my burger. Overall not impressed for the cost. I didn't check to see if they charged extra for the paper‍

So, we really wanted to try this place. Got two burgers, fries and two shakes. Everything really was good at first! It looked appealing as well, however at about the halfway point our stomachs became super churned & upset. Both of us threw up everything (multiple times) & still continue to feel nauseous 30 minutes later. Would I eat here again? No. I read another review about worries of improper food handling, I hope that this isn't a case of food poisoning. Consider other burger alternatives before going here.

1st Underground Burger in Arizona, opened up in 2022. Originally from Washington this burger spot is sure to please your taste buds! Starting with fresh quality ingredients, great burger to bun ratio, homemade dressing for the burger which brings this combination all together oh so well! Customer service is friendly, fast and efficient. They offer outdoor patio sitting, you can also enjoy in the car or take it home if not too far. I really enjoyed this experience! I've heard rave reviews about Underground Burger so I had to check it out! Located in Queen Creek, this is a small restaurant with little to no indoor seating and a small patio, so it's mainly aimed towards takeout orders. We ordered a couple burgers along with fries. They were hot upon pickup and the counter staff were decently friendly. I thought they were just okay. Everything was a bit greasy, for sure. Definitely not something I'd go out of my way to get again. I think In N Out or Five Guys is better, IMO.

We have been wanting to try this place and finally got around to it. The menu is pretty basic, Burgers with a GF option, 2 types of fries, and shakes. The burger was pretty good. The crinkle cut fries were crisp and good. It was pretty expensive for what you get though...$12 for a double and $9 for single patty? Kind of expensive. The service was nothing to get excited about. The young lady took our order, wasn't very talkative or overly friendly. There's only one table to sit at and it's outside, so don't expect to sit and have a meal. It's kind of cold and basic inside but overall the place isn't bad.

A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go. Tell your friends. Mondays (and every night) deserve Sage & Barrel. You won't regret it.

It was the quick reaction to helping a customer who made a very silly mistake. It was him and the wonderful lady who was helping prep the food at the pick up bar that went above and beyond for us! The dining area was well-maintained with plenty of seating, and I was impressed by how clean and fully stocked the condiment and drink station was. As for the food, the hot dogs were on point--flavorful, though the buns were just a little on the soggy side. The fries and onion rings, however, were excellent and perfectly cooked. My only minor gripe is that I still wish they offered fresh-brewed iced tea. Overall, it was a solid visit and we'll definitely be back! .

He was super super nice but said he was bringing everything out as it was done, so the food was brought out a plate at a time. First was my sides. The beans are more of a chili not your typical pinto beans. They were ok. The flour tortillas were wrapped in paper. They were extremely hard and were definitely it fresh and soft as you would expect. The steak fajitas them selves were ok. I added a picture. I guess ordering fajitas at a non Mexican place is the reason they were under whelming. My husband did enjoy his burger and fries. Our friends enjoyed their salads. The fajita salad was a salad and just the steak portion like my fajitas. I also ordered a prickly pear margarita. I couldn't finish it. The ingredients did not taste homemade. My friend ordered a house margarita and it was a little better. I would definitely stick to house margarita in the rocks with tajin rim. Adam was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.

Even several feet away, the smell of the burgers grilling is mouthwatering. This is not surprising once you learn that the owner of Yum Rockets is a Cordon Bleu graduate and has been a chef for 20 years. The concept is a modern take on Retro/Vintage Diners. Serving gourmet hamburgers, sandwiches, french fries, and more. It's a family-run business which is another nice perk. Of the various burgers on offer, the California Gold sounded the most enticing. A craft blend patty served with signature sauce (similar to Thousand Island), American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and bacon guacamole. Served on a brioche bun. Just one look and you know it will be delicious - and it was. Everything about it screamed fresh, high-quality ingredients, and expertly grilled. If they had a bricks-and-mortar restaurant, it would be your new destination for burgers (luckily, they offer catering, too!). We also ordered the Inferno Cluck which is their take on Nashville hot chicken, chipotle aioli, lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapeno, crunchy onions on a 10-inch hoagie. Honestly, unless you were just starving, this is big enough to split with someone. It's a huge sandwich, all the more so with the generous side order of fries. I love spicy so I asked them to add their Raising Pain sauce. It does kick things up a notch and since it is served on the side, you should get it too. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned. I ended up abandoning the hoagie and just focusing on the generous portion of chicken. YUM! Several types of fries are on offer. The fries are SO crisp. These are exactly how you want fries to be served. I tried customizing mine to the ginger wasabi fries but they were sadly out. We ended up upgrading to the Yum Yum fries which are smothered with their house-made cheese sauce, chopped ground beef, diced tomatoes, diced onions, and gold sauce. Delicious but a meal unto itself. We also had the Arizona fries which are the spicy version with Chipotle aioli and jalapenos. Delicious but a meal alone. The website listed some yummy-sounding dessert options but they had been crossed off the sandwich board when we visited. Perhaps they only do dessert for catering events now. Although based in the San Tan Valley, Yum Rockets pops up around the Valley. You can find their upcoming schedule on their website. Truly one of the best out there!
