ordered a spicy korean steak bowl with jasmine rice and grilled veggies and really disappointed how it all came out. the steak had some decent flavor but not a whole lot of protein in the bowl and when i finished all of it, I couldn't enjoy the rice and veggies mixed in since there's no flavor in the rice and it's all clumped up and tastes like plain mush. I was really looking forward to coming here and when the cashier said the total I didn't mind the high price at first because I though that would match the quality of the food but I feel snubbed and not sure i'll be coming back since I'll be paying so much for mediocrity quality. read more

Got a beautiful açaí bowl today and it hit all my happy feelings! It had bananas and granola and was just scrumptious! I also had an ice tea which is always fresh, cold, and tastes perfect. The kale Caesar and the smoothie were yummy. I liked that the Caesar salad was dressed well and had a good mix of textures. The Korean beef bowl was lacking a bit, I am not sure what it was but it didn't taste as good as I remember. You can order on a kiosk or at the register which adds a nice level of convenience. Food is good. But it's very frustrating to be charged extra to add additional chicken, charged extra for an extra sauce, and then not receive either of these things in your to go order. Not to mention it cost $50 total. It's expensive and if you're going to charge a premium price, you better make sure customers are getting what they are paying extra for. read more

I've been a huge Original ChopShop fan for years and have lost count of how many OCS meals I've enjoyed over the years... breakfast, lunch or dinner, I love the consistent, fast casual, healthy quality meals (and beverages), the clean environment, and the friendly staff. This Queen Creek location is no exception. When I find myself at nearby Arizona Athletic Grounds, this is where I typically go for a meal or snack, so with way too much time spent there (for soccer and pickleball), I've been to this location more than a handful of times. It has always been good... I am a big fan of the juices, the lemonades and the teas, and the wraps, salads, bowls. Really, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Enjoy! read more

Don ordered the Thai coconut chicken bowl with jasmine rice and roasted veggies. Overall, we both enjoyed our meals. Since we like dark meat chicken, the chicken seemed dry to us (as it does at most places). We would upgrade to the shrimp next time. I would love to see farro added as a "base" option in the future. It's such a great alternative to rice for diabetics! But, the cauliflower rice was good also. Leaving a reminder to ourselves to try the Danish & also the Beet salads as wraps. I've tried a couple of different bowls, but always end up with the green curry tofu. It comes with green onion, sesame seed, cilantro, sugar snap pea. Some days I get it with the Forbidden Rice and some days I get it with brown rice. It's delicious either way. The green curry sauce is flavorful and I can't get enough! It's so good. The juices are always fresh and tasty. I either get the cool down with watermelon, pineapple, apple, lime, and ginger or the slim squeeze with pear, strawberry, orange, apple, kiwi, and lemon. It is overwhelming to see how dirty it was, but someone's gotta do it and I wasn't about to start cleaning this place, so we got our food to go! My rice was a tad undercooked, but everything else was good, the Brussels sprouts were overdone and dried out, but it wasn't bad. My Hydrator drink was rough to drink. It's not what I was expecting, but the veggie drink my S.O. Received was really good. I like to go to Chop Shop when I am in the mood for a healthy meal. The salads taste really good and so do the sandwiches. I have at least one favorite sandwich and one favorite salad. I am glad they don't rotate their menu like other places. At another place they switched out a dish that I really liked. Now I don't go there anymore. They have quite a few locations around town. This is for the best because when I am in the mood for a meal from their store I can get one from a location nearby. It is very convenient. I think the meat, especially the chicken can be a bit dry. I am not sure how come the tofu gets so grilled. I don't like it to get charred. Otherwise, I have always enjoyed my meals here. I always get the salad dressing on the side. This enables me to put as much or as little of the dressing as I want. I got the Danish - house greens, arugula, smoked almond, Danish bleu, pear, apple, black currant, date, red wine vinaigrette. I will start by saying I love ChopShop, but this location was seriously lacking last night when I went to go pick up my online order. I went in to get my order and stood by the pickup counter for a minute while two employees were just back there talking, oblivious that I was waiting there to ask if my order was ready. After another minute I went to the front registers to ask another girl working if it was ready, and she got my bag and smoothie, and turned to walk away. She didn't give me my lemonade, so I had to ask for that. She then gave it to me and said "there should be straws in the bag" and walked away. I looked and there weren't, so I walked back to the pickup counter to grab a couple straws. I then checked my bag again because I noticed the cookie was also missing, so I had to wait another minute to ask if I could grab a cookie because it wasn't in my bag. To top it all off, I get home and notice that my Greek salad is missing the dressing and the feta, and I also added avocado for $1 and they only gave me 1/4 of a chopped avocado. Not sure if they saw that I used my rewards point to get a free salad and decided to give me the bare minimum or if they're just rushing to get the order done, but it was not busy at all when I was in there. Perfect portions This is kind of informal place where you order at front desk, they give you a number and then bring food to the table. We waited less than 10 minutes from time we sat down to get our order. Well done. Front counter staff is engaging and helps you work through what are quite a few options for each dish. I think basic items are $10-20 per; with added options and drinks you'll spend $20-30 per person, closer to upper end with tip. My wife and I eat here once or twice a week. The place is clean, staff friendly and food is very good. Today, my wife and I had an unfortunate experience while sitting outside. Despite the 110-degree heat, the misters kept us cool and comfortable. However, the staff turned off the misters, citing concerns about flooding the sidewalk, which was not the case. They did not inform us beforehand or offer the option to move inside. When I inquired about the decision, they mentioned the flooding issue but offered no apology or acknowledgment of our discomfort. This experience was disappointing and hopefully will serve as a learning opportunity for the staff. read more

I've been to this location frequently in the past, but have forgotten about it recently with the amount of new places constantly opening up. One of my friends and I stopped here for lunch last week. I had just been to the one on Val Vista in Chandler recently so I had an idea of what I wanted. It was really clean and only a few tables were occupied when we walked in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, I had downloaded the app and loaded $50 on it which will give you a $10 bonus reward to spend on whatever. I actually ordered the Thai Coconut Chicken (I replaced with tofu) with the sweet potato hash & my friend ordered The Club Sandwich. She went with the Strawberry Lemonade and I opted for iced tea (not realizing it wasn't sweetened-lots of sugar added here). My refill was the strawberry lemonade-lol. I did notice that my veggies were a bit on the al denté side-next time I'll make sure they're cooked more, but other than that...delish!! Although we paid separately, I scanned my app for both orders and have enough points for a smoothie or juice-if I just swing by. Very slow service. Annoying that you have to order from a screen when there are three employees standing around. The restaurant is very dirty and disheveled. Noticed while I waited a while for my food that the area behind the counter needs to be picked up and cleaned quite a bit. Iced tea area needs to be wiped down and cleaned. Hard to get your drink because there was a step stool left in front of the tea dispensers. The biggest turn off was the employee bagging up and plating the orders as they come out from the kitchen coughing into her hands and then touching food and items or not covering her cough at all. I ordered this at work through Grubhub because I was in a hurry and wanted something light and heathy. I ordered a Spicy Korean steak bowl. You get a choice of 2 "bases". Choices were: Brown rice Sweet potato hash Quinoa Roasted veggies 1/2 brown rice & 1/2 sweet potato hash You pick 2 of those and this one comes with steak. You can substitute another protein or you can add a different protein (Shrimp 3.72) (Tofu 2.48) The food came hot and was fast. The steak was cooked just right and had a terrific spicy Korean sauce on it. It is actually more spicy than I had thought it would be, which is great because I love spicy foods. If you don't, I'd avoid this because the spicy flavor lasted in my mouth for about an hour after. The roaster veggies were coated with spices and had me wishing they put in more. The sweet potato hash was mixed with diced onions and peppers and was magnificent. This place also has a lot of vegetarian options! read more

This place has gone downhill. It used to be one of our favorite places, but the food quality has suffered. I ordered the Thai coconut chicken bowl today, and it is nowhere near what it used to be. They have reduced the amount of chicken and the amount of sauce, and it looks nothing like anything in the pics on Yelp. On top of that, they don't even have cashiers anymore - you walk up to a machine to order. I would expect this at a McDonald's but not at a premium food. It is obvious they are trying to cut expenses to increase profit margin. I have no problem with making profits but when the food quality goes down then the original value proposition has changed. To the store owner commenting on my review. Despite what you may claim on Yelp, the food I received today was of lower quality than the many times I have experienced in the last. And there was NO option to speak to someone at the counter. They were all running around working on orders, not looking to help anyone at the counter. I couldn't even make eye contact with anyone. Gluten free and dairy light eater. I have been to this restaurant many times but not this location. I've always opted for the bowls and always thought the food was solid. I chose to get a sandwich instead on a gluten free wrap. I got a club wrap. This included some diary but enough to not overwhelm me. I ooooo'ed and awwwweeeeed over this the whole time I ate it. I loved it. And then loved it again. The tortillas are only made for commercial use but they were the best I've had in a long time. My husband had the steak bowl. He loved it.
