Hadn't had Firehouse in probably a decade. The subs were not at all what I remember them being. I would give them a 2 out of 5 stars. The extra star on this review is for the customer service. We tried to use a gift card to purchase our subs and the whole computer system froze. The employee ended up giving us the subs on the house, which was appreciated. Too bad the subs weren't better. I'll stick to Jimmy John's or Jersey Mike's. read more

We wanted to try the "Thanksgiving Sub". We ordered on-line, my husband picked it up and we dug in. My first thought was, yum but a few bites in I realized it was too salty for me. When discussing the saltiness with my husband, I realized there wasn't any cranberry on our sandwich. The sweetness of the cranberry would have cut the salt but since our sandwich was incorrectly constructed that didn't happen for us. I would have given a 5 review but in this case the mistake ruined our experience with this sandwich. This was first time eating food from Firehouse. read more

Recently tried the Thanksgiving Sub and it was really good. Enjoyed it both warm and also as cold leftovers. Also bought a Hook and Ladder which was very good. Both large subs had plenty of everything. Staff was friendly and service was fast. It is expensive so not somewhere I'd stop routinely (not buying much takeout these days), but for an occasional splurge it was fine. Maybe I'll snag one more TG Sub this season! read more

Placed online order, not sure how hard it is to provide dressing for a salad. Waited 40 minutes for the order to arrive. It's not the first time had an issue with this location. At least door dash is competent and took care of the issue. read more

Ordered online, chose a time 40min from the time i placed the order (store is 0.7 miles from my house). Arrive at the time i chose expecting my order to be ready or just being finished up. Nope... It wasn't even started yet. I sat there for 20 minutes until they finished making my 2 sandwich order. Zero excuse for this kind of service when you have 40 minutes to make two sandwiches. read more

Ordered here for dinner with the kids - it was okay. Not bad, but not amazing. The NY Steamer was good, but was really missing the good spicy mustard that should have come with it. The meat was okay - some gristle. The firehouse beef and cheese was a good hot beef sandwich but there was hardly any cheese on it. After seeing tv ads, I decided to try this place out. (My go to place has always been Subway) My sister and I both bought footlong subs and, holy cow! $40.22 for 2 footling subs! When I saw how much it was going to cost, my first thought was, "Damn, I sure hope they were worth the money!" And, sadly... in my opinion, they were not worth the $40+. Not enough Mayo, pickles, cucumbers, no salt & pepper... smh you don't even have the option to pick how much Mayo , mustard, etc. you want on the sandwich (less, regular, more). It's you either want it, or you don't. I'll stick with Subway. You have more options to customize your sub, type of bread, condiments, how much you want ... where I can get 2 footlong subway sandwiches for less than $20. But the quality and quantity of the sandwich itself has experienced deflation. The sandwiches shown in the menu look like what you used to get. I have had firehouse subs before. My wife on another hand has not. So I decided to bring her here on one evening after work. I ordered the sweet and fire meatball sandwich. They were missing ingredients and looked extremely sloppy, it seems like they swapped our two sandwiches and then forgot most of the things we asked for. I used to love coming to any firehouse location because their subs were amazing and for the price it was worth it, but not so much anymore. The past couple times I have come to this location the subs seem to be getting smaller and smaller but the price is going up. I got the medium size sandwich and opened up the box when I got home and saw there was barely any meat on the sandwich and the bread itself was super small for almost $12. Unfortunately I am going to have to stop going here. Kind of a shame. read more

Ok, you maybe asking why so many stars. Let me explain. I ordered through GRUBHUB Huge MISTAKE!! I assumed the food would of been delivered but NOPE!! no where on thier web info does it say pick up. GRUBHUB would not issue a refund either . So I contacted the restaurant. Explained the issue and they explained how it works with GRUBHUB. Firehouse is my very favorite sub place EXCEPT the one in Queen Creek. I couldn't wait to try it but got burned bread on my sub and no onions instead of extra onions. They were out of cookies and the dinner rush hadn't even happened yet. They don't seem interested in any kind of customer service either. Per the other reviews here, it seems something has really changed this year. So sad. I wonder how long this shop will last. read more

Solid sub alternative to Subway & Quiznos. Just had a medium Hook & Ladder fully involved, which means lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. Price was a bit higher than Subway @5.99 but I'm alright with that because I can sample a variety of hot sauces. See, I'm a closet chili head. They only put up to 7 (on a scale of 1 to 10) on display so beginners don't get hurt. The nice girl behind the counter said they keep the HOT stuff in the back. So, go try the sub of your choice and while your waiting grab a spoon and sample the goods. read more

Decided to give Firehouse subs another try after a very disappointing visit a few months ago. Another let down for sure. The size of the sub is pitiful for the cost and it barely has any meat on it. It's piled in the center to make it look full but the ends of it are bread on bread. Never again. Pastrami was good which is the only reason for 1 star. Now I'm going to find more food to satisfy my hunger. read more

Established in 1994.

Growing up in a family that is both entrepreneurial and built on more than 200 years of firefighting heritage, it seems we were destined to start Firehouse Subs. Of course we tried other things along the way to our American dream, but everything we experienced on our path led us to Firehouse Subs. Over 20 years after opening the first restaurant, with over 1,100 Firehouse Subs restaurants, we're convinced we're doing a few things right. Turns out, people absolutely love the same things we do - the best meats, cheeses, and toppings we can find. People come back again and again to Firehouse Subs because, unlike other sub places, we steam our premium hand-sliced meats and cheeses, releasing a rush of flavors, then stuff a serving that's way over code on one of our toasted private recipe sub rolls. The combination of ingredients work well together. ~ Cappuccino: This was crafted well and I enjoyed the light dusting of topping (believe cinnamon sugar). The espresso paired nicely with the frothed milk and velvety foam. ~ Croissant & Butter: Sadly, this was like any croissant you can get. A skip for us next time, but probably great for a sandwich. Overall, we enjoyed our meal though I'm not a fan of counter service. We'd return again, and pick a table more in the open so it's easily to deliver food to us.

You can sample the olive oil but there's nothing to dip it in so you'd just be ingesting pure oil; it would have been nice to have a pretzel or bread to dip! I would have wanted everything to be made there but for example the pastas and pasta sauces weren't. And they sell other products from elsewhere. If I'm making a trip here, I'd want to buy things that are primarily made here. They also have several dining options (not sure how they're all related). I was pleased with the food we ordered: huge artichoke calzone (soft dough and good filling) for $22 and fish and chips (excellent fries), as well as a bakery that sells cupcakes, scones, cakes, cookies, brownies as well as gelato. We liked the cookies and scone though the latter didn't have the usual consistency of a scone). It was interesting that their Italian cookies were actually slightly cheaper purchased at the counter vs the already packaged box. They also sell cerreta individually wrapped candies. They have indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat there. Employees were very friendly. I'm sure it is a more pleasurable experience going when there aren't a lot of crowds, as it is a tourist spot and has overflow parking.

I went to this location last month and loaded up on groceries, spending almost $500. I work in customer service and I know how difficult it would be to intentionally be that rude to a customer for no reason. When I got home I noticed she scanned my 1 dozen eggs three times, and only voided it once. Since I live half an hour away I decided to write customer service about the overcharge and the interaction I had with the cashier, just wanting at least a credit towards what I paid and didn't receive. It's been a month and I never received a response. I won't go back. Most health food stores are high in price but have great customer service, apparently this store is the exception.

The club royal had paper on the cheese. I mean really paper in the sandwich see pic. This is more than careless preparation. The NY Yankee is a 20.00 Sandwich and they made it on marble rye that was stale and hard. It was impossible for them to not know that the bread was stale and hard. The order was at 10:15 AM so it was not a situation where it sat out long enough in the day to get hard. This had to be yesterdays stale bread. I have to ask who does this? Do they think the customer is going to find this acceptable? Paper on the cheese and stale bread on a 20.00 sandwich. There is genuinely no excuse for this and who ever prepared this food needs to be either reprimanded or terminated. You have one job and that is to make a quality product. If things like this are happening it makes me wonder what other corners are cut and if there is actually any manager overseeing quality and safe practices! I would give zero stars if that was an option.
