Ordered food from their app. To be delivered. The delivery service they use Thur their app is DoorDash the delivery person Katherine did not deliver our food she took it to I have no idea where. Took a close up picture of it and put delivered. The text I got said she was having problems finding the place to call or text to help them I Called three times each time was hung up on. I texted exactly where it was but no response. Only response I got was a close-up picture of the food where you couldn't even tell where the place was that she supposedly left it. I called Five Guys and spoke to two different people was told by the second person that yes, they confirmed that she picked it up and they don't know what happened and why she didn't deliver our food and I'm supposed to get a full refund on that I'm still being charged for food that was never delivered . Still waiting for my bank to show that I'm getting the process of a refund happening. I cannot say how the food was like. Highly anticipated arrival in the region. Unfortunately this Five Guys didn't hit on all eight cylinders on our first visit to this new location. First off the building itself is sort of obscured. It's kind of a hole in the wall placement. Secondly the staff on this late Friday afternoon was uninspiring. I'd say flat. The young lady at the register looked beyond bored. The young man assembling the burgers actually looked hostile. No smiles, greetings and no hurry in his bones. I watched him wrap the burgers in slow motion. Weird. Friday afternoon you should expect the manager to be in the place. If he or she was then this shop has a big problem. Finally the pricing. $7.50 for a less inspired burger than what I can get down the road at In-N-Out for half the price. With Habit Burgers in the same shopping center it is going to be rough going for this burger joint. The burgers were tasty enough but my wife and I both noted the small burger patty. I've eaten at many Five Guys locations and this is the first one that I am crossing off my list. Three strikes and they're out! It's a new location and has a long way to go to meet Five Guys' standards. They are very, very slow. And did I mention that they are extremely slow? Also, they load the burger up with such a large quantity of add-ons that you cannot taste the burger at all. They messed up one of my orders. If you don't like being refused service by lazy workers five minutes before closing, pass this Five Guys up. We have frequented this location for the last couple weeks and tonight we had driven all the way to this Five Guys from Carmel Valley to get milkshakes (50 minute drive round trip) just to be told by a group of heavily stoned workers at 9:55pm that they didn't feel like making us milkshakes and they were going home. We told them that we literally drove 25 minutes to get there and we just wanted two milkshakes. They were so high and ashamed of their actions none of the staff could even look us in the eye. I am shocked that there was no manager here or no employee ballsy enough to do the right thing and speak up. It was obvious that they got high before the shift was over because it was slow, and then started closing down early thinking they were going to get away without any customers coming in. Almost all of the staff looked blitzed and they all knew they were wrong for what they were doing. As a business owner I can tell the night staff in here just does what ever they want and it's a shame. They refused service to a long time customer along with someone currently serving our country because they would rather get high during work and go home early. No wonder they were all so ashamed. I will be contacting corporate and providing the videos we have of your staff stoned out of their minds so they can see how you're allowing this restaurant to be ran. I was told to come in for an interview at 2:00 pm today. When I got there at 2:00 pm they told me to wait for the manager to come and bring me to the back. A crew member came out and told me that at 1:55 pm, 5 minutes ago they were not hiring anyone. I was baffled and crossed that I was lied to and was not given a fair chance because of something I couldn't control. I waited three weeks for someone to get back to me and when they did, they didn't follow through on what they said. I will never apply or eat here again. Pitiful excuse for a five guys. This location continues to struggle with service and food quality, even before the pandemic. Last night was the finally straw. I waited 20 minutes for my order, no one in the restaurant. Ordered all the way burger and fries. Upon getting my to go order, the employee told me he made fresh fries for me. The fries were lukewarm,limp, and oily. The brown bag was saturated with oil. Burger was just patty, bun and cheese. Five guys finally opened in seaside! Did not realize the cheeseburger had two patties ha. Basically had to peel one off felt like a waste. Like all the toppings options such as the mushrooms that was good. The fries were good and crispy. Fast service. Kinda pricey and full of calories. Not sure if peanut oil is better or worse. I've been to about 10 different Five Guys and this one was by far the worst. The fries were cold and soggy. The soda machine mixture was way off. What a disaster! First I go to wash up in the restroom and the soap dispenser was off the wall in the sink. An employee just walked out. After waiting about 15- 20 minutes an employee called my number with my shake. They were out of chocolate so I settled for vanilla. The shake was like milk no thickness and the employee just said that was the way it was, what? Then I hear numbers being called out and wondered what happened to my order and they said they had already called it. Never heard. The hamburger was good but the fries were over cooked and so greasy, yuck! Exchanged my shake for a soda and the carbonation was out. Oh yeah they also had no ketchup in the pump. Disaster. Pro: Great burgers and milkshakes! That being said--and a deal breaker-- Con: Lack of cleanliness in eating area is consistent. Every time we've dined in, clean tables are far and few between. Please note this review is not about the food (as I did not actually eat here today) I have always been quite happy with the food at Five Guys and have been a regular customer since the Sand City location opened, visiting at least twice a month. I am also one of your wheelchair-using customers. While I can drive, I cannot walk so normally I use my wheelchair and public transportation to get around and shop. During and as a result of the pandemic I am no longer quite as comfortable in the close confines of public transportation. I was grateful for those businesses offering curbside pickup and will continue to shop with them. Sadly, Five Guys seems to have abandoned the curbside option even though they still display a sign in the window to the contrary. One can no longer choose Curbside as an option when placing an online order and I was told over the phone that they cannot take curbside orders over the phone. It's a shame really because I was ready to drop $20 for a hot dog lunch. Oh well, back to the nearest drive-thru..... might become habit forming. read more

And I got tired of eating In N out.. so I got 2 little bacon burgers and regular size fries and my total came out to be $17.47. Those are just for 2 burgers and 1 fries. No drink included. This Young lady at the register was very rude and uneducated, when I politely asked about what is 'five guys style fries' as this was my first time. And she just said 'what?' As she was rolling her eyes made me feel like I'm some kind of idiot. She had long gross fake nails and was complaining how her nail broke to her co workers instead of turning around and acknowledge me to ask to pay. Their burgers are good but not $6 worth. You can make better burgers at home and fries are better than In N outs. But I would not come back because it is over priced and their employees are not properly trained. Five guys burgers are usually always great along with the fries. Maybe they weren't in the groove with it being busy but I was very sad to discover onions that I had not asked for in my burger. Luckily I'm not allergic or anything but biting into the distinct taste of onion halfway through my burger definitely ruined it for me. We ordered from Five Guys through Door Dash. We set up our order to be delivered at 6:30. Our food was picked up at 5:55pm. We live ten minutes away. Our food showed up at 6:59pm.
