Honesty should always be #1 with customer service. Words can't explain how disappointing and how low the bar is. Like I understand the place was packed and orders were backed up but please just be honest instead of lying to our face multiple times. We ordered around 6:50pm on the official website for a pick up order. Turn around time was roughly 30-35 min based on the website. We arrive around 7:30pm for our order (40min later) and was told to wait another 8-10 minutes for our order which is fine so we wait. We saw our order on their screens with order names on the side. We also heard that the turn around time was pushing 65-70 minutes at this point. Then 20 minutes pass and we get up to ask again as we noticed our pick up order name disappeared from the screen as well. We were told by the same guy another 8 minutes as "your orders packed up and we're just waiting on fries" We sat back down to wait then another 15 minutes pass by and I noticed that all the bags they packed up were all given to other patrons to pick up. Our order that was supposedly "packed up" was no where to be seen so I get up again and asked about our order. It was near impossible to get the attention of any staff because the same guy decides to look at everyone except me when I approached the counter and was there the longest. When I finally said "excuse me" does he actually stop to talk. The SAME guy goes back to check for a whole TWO SECONDS and comes back and said "another 10 minutes we're just waiting on some WINGS". Which I clocked him and said "wait you said fries earlier so which is it". He tries to backtrack and said "oh I was mistaken." Then I bring up the fact our order was removed from the order screen and he said "oh what?" Then proceeds to move back in the kitchen to check the order. After what I can tell is pure confusion amongst the employees the same guy came back and said "so it turns out we deleted your order because we thought it was a duplicate." Both my friend and I deadpan because we had such a specific order for a very specific name that it was almost impossible for them and for someone else to have this name and specific order. So my friend and I waited almost 1.5 hours for them to lie to us TWICE. Then they said they would make it but given how backed up the orders were it wasn't worth our time to wait for it so we asked for a refund and the same guy said to go online (bad answer - there no way to request a refund on the website). Will be reporting to our bank for a chargeback. read more

Weird experience last night at Wing Stop! We got there about 530pm, Saturday night. They were wet mopping the entire floor! Think soaking wet! No wet floor signs! People just walking through it, slipping around! Then, a dude was arguing about his order and would not let up! Employees trying to handle it as best they can. We placed our order and we always wait about 15 minutes as I "thought" everything was cooked to order. We hadn't even sat down with our drinks (after ice skating across the floor) and they called my name. We ordered "lemon pepper" and "mild" boneless wings. Nothing was very hot. The lemon pepper wings which had always been a dry rub was a soupy weird mess. Tasted like lemon pepper but was soooo soupy. I asked the nice guy at the counter about them changing to a sauce and he said "no, it's a dry rub, they just have forgotten the cheese...." I was so confused. I said "I'm talking about lemon pepper not garlic Parmesan". He just stared at me. Wingstop is very hit or miss depending on the commitment of the staff at each store. I ordered ahead online for simple order. It was ready at the exact time that I needed it. The lady doing pick up orders was very friendly. However when I looked at my food I noticed that the sauces and seasonings were very light. Normally I feel like they overdo it with the sauce. I ordered a 50pc combo for me and my wife and kids. 25 lemon pepper, 15 Louisiana rub and 10 original hot. My kids only eat lemon pepper. I take the order home to find only 15 lemon pepper in the box. I call wingstop told them the issue, they said oh the other box is right here do I want to pick it up. No I don't want to drive 15 mins back to pick up the rest I would like a refund or credit for my missing order the worker said they will let the manager know and they will submit a refund via email since it was an online order. I say ok. I get a missed call an hour and a half later from wing stop from an employee stating that they talked to the owner of the store and the owner said if I want a refund I need to bring back the box showing them 15 wings. I frequent wingstop and specifically this location but damn this has to be a joke. I, along with two other friends, placed mobile orders through the app at 7:24pm tonight with the expectations that it would be ready within the 21-26 mins that it stated. This was completely wrong. Both the man and women proceeded to be super rude to my other two friends, disregarding them any time they tried to ask about their order. I finally got up to get my last friend's order and was completely ignored by the man yet again even though I was the only one at the counter waiting. He was incredibly rude when I finally spoke up, then proceeded to grab the bag that had been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long. I thought this was weird because they had been calling out all of the other mobile orders as there were still many people standing around waiting on theirs. When we finally received all of our orders, it was about 8:30pm. I would also like to add that last time I ate here, I got food poisoning. Wingstop is located in a small storefront in the same parking lot as World Market and upon entering, reminds you of a fast food spot. We didn't order ahead online since this was an impulse stop. We ordered (too much food BTW) from the friendly cashiers and took a seat at the counter by the window. The wings and fries did take a bit of time to prepare, but we relaxed and enjoyed our fountain drink as we waited. My expectations were rising as the wait indicated to me that our wings were being freshly prepared. About 20-30 minutes after we ordered, they called our name. There were a bunch of take out orders being picked up so the crew was definitely busy. The wings we received were hot, fresh and large! I enjoyed the Spicy Korean BBQ while my husband went with Original Hot. The fries were hand cut and also hot and fresh. Everything had a great flavor. I especially liked the sticky, teriyaki flavor of the Korean BBQ wings. The wings were juicy inside and crispy out - just perfect. Their ranch was tasty as well and made a great dipping sauce for both the wings and fries. My only complaint - although the fries were quite tasty, they were not as crispy as I would have liked. However, they were not soggy or greasy. The entire experience was satisfying and I would definitely order these wings again. My sister went to pick up and and her ID was expired her license was with their other vehicle my brother was driving however she had other valid documents with picture and several cards with her name including the one she paid with. They refused to give her the order saying it could all be fraudulent- wtf?! So they wouldn't let her pick up and I'm guessing had their own party there in the restaurant. So rude! She had so much stuff proving she was in fact herself but them not being good people just sent her away, ruined our plans and made us feel like we were scum for a honest mistake. Wingstop's one of those places that you go to for a late night craving because it's practically the only one that's really open and it's the food that will fill you up enough for a good night sleep. I ordered everything on the website which was easy to use especially if you want to make an account and accumulate points with them or something like that. I don't use DoorDash for pick up which seems like the main cause for bad reviews regarding this location, so definitely use the Wingstop website because there is no extra surcharge and all the limited flavors are listed online as well. My pick up was fast and easy as we were welcomed upon entering. The customer service was phenomenal given the fact that it was 10 PM at night and we all know how hangry people get at that time, but not this place. The guy at the counter helped us right away and offered us extra plates with utensils for our meal. Oh, the food. Right. Well, we ordered the limited flavors on the menu which were the hot lemon, which were buffalo wings and lemon pepper seasoning combined. We also ordered the lemon garlic wings which mixed lemon pepper and garlic parmesan together. It was a combo so we got all celery (I don't like carrots), and extra seasoned fries. Went in to pick up two combo deals of 20 wings and fries, with some chicken tender, voodoo fries, and 2 drinks. Pretty simple right how can anyone mess that up you may think. So I pick up the order trying to have some faith in them and get home to disappointment. They forgot the most important part of the combo, the fries. So I call to tell them and ask them what my options are and to my surprise they couldn't offer a refund due to it being a combo, what a shocker right but the man on the phone was nice and polite, even offered to throw in some wings due to having to drive back and have the fries ready by the time I get back to their restaurant. Arriving back to this "fine" establishment the fries weren't even ready nor the additional wings that were mentioned were given further disappointing me. Luckily this is not my last meal but I do not think they can redeem themselves. points on improvement first is don't mess up the simple things. Second, keep your word to your customers because it is not my responsibility to keep you accountable or make sure you have your things together. Third, maybe some communication so everyone is on the same page in case that was the issue to not having items ready the first time... or the second time to pick up what you all forgot.
