    Little Hamburger, milkshake and peanuts
    Min Z.

Passed by and went in. Music was a bit loud and service was okay. Got a little hamburger (540 cal): I ordered some toppings but not everything was added when I got it. Oh, well... I also ordered an Oreo cookie milkshake with added whipped cream (590 cal) : not healthy but very good. Helped myself to some peanuts. I loved them. The simple meal was over 1000 calories - no wonder I didn't feel good afterwards! That's the price I paid for the splurge. The food and drink were too fattening for my stomach.

Delicious hotdogs, a little bit expensive, but worth the price. I like it . You will luv it 2.

Definitely one of the best Burger + Fries chain restaurants that people underestimate. In reality, there's two types of burgers people enjoy. One being healthy and light and the other being greasy and heavier. If you chose the latter, you're my kind of person because I truly believe that's what a burger should taste like. If you wanted something healthier, you wouldn't be eating a burger in the first place. Anyways, ordering is super easy. Go up to the front cashier and there's a full blown menu available with kosher hot dogs included for those on a bit of a dietary restriction. Service is amazing and food comes out fast. When you order their fries, they always give you extra too so the portion control here is that there is none! I gave 4 stars simply because their prices are a bit higher up for a fast food joint. Other than that, this is the place to go whenever you're craving a well executed burger!

Five Guys is always reliable. It is a smaller location, bit that doesn't affect anything. The quality of burgers and caring costumer service makes it #1 Burger Place. Fries have the best seasoning and cost only $5 enough for 3 people. I enjoy their complementary fresh peanuts. I like having option of vinegar and ketchup with fries. Their hotdogs are also amazing!

I know we're in the covid phase and the barrier of glass or plastic is becoming a thing now and that it can impede listening...having said that the five guys here can sometimes miss toppings on your order and since dine in isnt really a thing, you tend to find out you have a plain burger with nothing at all when you get home. Again I know it can be hard to hear given we have masks and the barrier. But whoever is taking the order should double check if they are unsure.

Just dropped in for some of the best French fries on the planet! But seriously they make good Fries from scratch. They have the potato's shipped from various potatoe farms around the country and when I use to be a frequent five guys patron they use to let you know where the French fries came from that day. I also love the fact that they give you complimentary peanuts. Who doesn't love free! And I seriously take as many as I want!

My group of 5 enjoyed a variety of their drinks and dishes, sharing 3 appetizers, enjoying 5 entrees, and indulging in two of their desserts. I started off with an alcoholic Mai Thai. Food wise, I had their grilled oysters, brussel Cesar, fried chicken curry dish, trifle dessert, and sorbet. As a non-seafood person, it was a big deal for me to try their oysters. I started slow with just their grilled oysters. They were drowning in garlic and butter, so it was hard not to like. The Brussel cesar was also a solid shareable. I appreciated that the salad did not come drenched in dressing. The curry friend chicken was phenomenal! The chicken fell of the bone so easily and was so crispy, moist, and overall outstanding. The curry and impossible rice paired perfectly with it. Finally, the desserts! I could have eaten two of the trifle dessert...it was smooth, creamy, and the perfect amount of sweet. It was everyone's favorite between the two. The sorbet was good, but I found the white chocolate a little weird/awkward since it was sitting around a bunch of cold sorbet...didn't melt or mesh well with the dish. It wasn't bad, but I'd try something else next time. Overall, I loved this place. The vibes, staff, and food were amazing. I can't wait to introduce more friends to this gem.

Ambiance was vibey and cozy. Our server John was awesome. We ordered the crab and shrimp ceviche, a sourdough/goat cheese/ricotta dish, salmon crudo, seafood stew, branzino, oysters and my drink was yummy too! also got butter noodles for the kiddo, the restaurant was child friendly. i believe my cocktail was called a heartache. Beautiful presentation of the food. Oysters and crudo were phenomenal and i truly enjoyed everything i ate! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the DMV.

The avocado toast topped with a perfectly poached egg topped with Japanese black sesame seeds is my go-to order, and the sandwiches are consistently good. Their cocktails are excellent, and the bar side makes a great venue for private parties or larger gatherings. I am apparently in the miniscule minority, but I find the drip coffee a bit too dark and somehow slightly burnt for my taste. Fortunately, they make an outstanding Dirty London Fog and a wonderful London Fog Chai Latte, either of which I'd happily order instead. All manner of alternative "milks" are available as are a pretty decent selection of local beers in their cooler if you are grabbing take out. Be prepared for a wait on weekends--this is one of Takoma Park's most popular brunch destinations. Like many cafés these days, it's a favorite of laptop-wielding remote workers, so tables can be at a premium. In my experience, though, solo diners are often gracious about moving to the communal table when they notice [or more likely are asked polietly if they wouldn't mind moving] a larger group waiting. It's just one more example of the friendly neighborhood atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

I stopped by this location in Silver Spring - it's located inside the Whole Foods - before a movie last week. Since it was my first time at PLNT, I ordered something traditional - the PLNT Cheeseburger (plant-based patty, caramelized onion, pickles, plant-based American cheese, green leaf lettuce, roma tomato, PLNT sauce, and potato bun). As a very failed former vegan (10 years as a vegetarian and vegan in my late teens to twenties), I was most worried about the vegan cheese (I remember having some pretty awful vegan cheeses in those days). The cheese was fine actually. The burger itself is okay; it kind of tastes like TVP (textured vegetable protein), a little dry, not too flavorful. But my real issue with the burger was its assembly - it was so covered in sauce and gooey cheese that the bun was sliding off before I even tried to pick it up. It was one of the messiest things I've ever tried to eat. And that's what I'll remember about my first PLNT Burger experience - not the flavor, but definitely the messiness of it. It was fast, which is great if you need a quick meal. And since it's in the food court area of Whole Foods, you can also grab other things while you're waiting for your meal or after. If you're vegan or vegetarian, this PLNT Burger might be a godsend and you might love it! Too messy for me!
