I have to admit that I stopped by Jollibee because I knew that my go-to fried chicken spot was going to be super busy due to a holiday weekend. The self-serve kiosks made ordering a breeze. Overall, I thought the prices were fine. For my order I went with the family deal A (I'm not sure what it was actually called) which included six pieces of chicken with two sides for about $21. Although I thought the chicken was pretty good, I was expecting to be blown away based on reviews that I've seen regarding the Jollibee brand. While the breading did not have much seasoning (for my personal tastes), I thought the chicken excelled in its 'juiciness'. From my experience, it's very arre for friend chicken restaurants to have falling off the bone fried chicken. YUM Customer service was pretty direct in that I did not really have a significant interaction with the staff. I placed my order through the kiosk and waited about 10 minutes for my order number to be called. Although I ordered my food to go, I thought the restaurant was very clean and well-maintained with plenty of seating. Since the restaurant is located near the Westfield Mall, there was plenty of parking, which is rare in this area. While I would not go out of my way to grab fried chicken from here, it is decent option for quickly picking up something on my way home. read more

6/26/26: This visit was pretty average overall. The food was exactly what I'd expect from Jollibee, consistent with other locations I've been to. If you're a fan of their menu, you'll likely enjoy it just as much here. I also tried the Ube Pie, which had a crispy exterior and a sweet, creamy filling that made for a nice dessert. The biggest downside was the cleanliness. The dining area could have been better maintained, and the bathrooms in particular were noticeably dirty. It took away from the overall experience and made the restaurant feel less inviting. The food delivered the familiar Jollibee experience, but the condition of the restaurant kept this visit from being anything more than average. I'd come back for the food, but I hope they put more attention into keeping the restaurant and restrooms clean. read more

Continuing alphabet series representing 2025, J is for Jollibee. I had Jollibee twice, both times in 2025. Once was in April 2025, someone brought it from the Wheaton location to a party, and I was like wow, this is even better than Royal Farms, a local MD favorite. Royal Farms however is near my home (1 mile away), and there is only one Jollibee in the entire state of MD in Wheaton, which is almost 20 miles away from where I live. I was like wow I need to come back to the physical store one of these days. I knew about Jollibee in Wheaton for a few years and that they are from the Philippines. Who would know, but they know what they are doing with fried chicken in the Philippines at least with Jollibee?! That day was Saturday, November 22, 2025. My girlfriend was out of town for the week of Thanksgiving. I went to 2 events beforehand in Howard County, which were underwhelming, and was done a lot earlier than I thought. I had plans in Montgomery County that evening. So, I was looking at the movie schedule and saw there was a movie at AMC Wheaton, but I'd have to rush down and not eat lunch. I had snack to hold me over ok and movie was only 1.5 hours. Got out of my movie close to 3 PM and was deciding what to eat. I decided I wanted a large meal to count as lunch/dinner, and I figured Jollibee close to the movie theater. I asked a couple of questions about sides. The cashier was friendly answering my questions. It was pretty busy for 3 PM. There was only one open seat after I paid. So, I got a 3-piece fried chicken with fries & biscuit. Additionally, it comes with a large tub of brown gravy. I dipped my fries & biscuit in the gravy. I didn't dip the chicken in. It was awesome on its own. Even the biscuit was amazing. Fries were solid too. One of these somewhat rare times my girlfriend & I go to AMC Wheaton or other reason over here, I need to take her to Jollibee. Love stopping by Jollibee whenever I'm in the Wheaton mall area. Really great service and food! Staff is always helpful and friendly. The location is almost always packed so place order ahead if able. My favorites meal is definitely the chicken sandwich, side of mashed potatoes, mango fruit pie, and the pineapple refresher. Pretty consistent in my opinion. The KATSEYE meal was good as well but limited time item. Definitely stop by if you're near and have never experienced. Better than Popeyes or KFC IMO. Ehhhhhhhhhhhh. So the first time I had Jollibee's it became a literal obsession. It was on our weekly rotation and we couldn't get enough, and at that point our favorite was Popeyes. Don't get me wrong, Popeye's is still good, but we didn't like how it made us feel after. After a month or two, the Jollibee charm wore off and it started tasting...mid. Then we tried the famous Filipino spaghetti and wished we didn't. The pies are delicious but it also tastes like Popeye's with a different filling. Would we order it again? No. Would we eat it if someone else bought it? Also no. They definitely have their fan base but in my humble opinion, overhyped. There's tastier fried chicken at Nash&Smashed, Bonchon, and Dave's. It was good! I got a 2 piece meal and a chicken sandwich meal. The meal options include a chance to get fries, spaghetti and another option I can not remember. I got the spaghetti meal with the 2 piece and it didn't disappoint. It was a meal in its own right. It had sausage in it and had a unique tangy taste. Almost like a bbq sauce? The fries were mid. It taste like the frozen fries you put in the oven, so my choice would be the spaghetti again. The chicken was fried really well. It had a great crunch to it. It came with a biscuit and gravy. First one I've seen in Maryland. It's fast food Filipino style. Fried chicken, sandos tenders, burgers, spaghetti and other goodies. Plenty of parking but no drive thru. The service was fast and friendly. Plenty of seating and well maintained and clean. Chicken joy was as expected, delicious! chicken is crispy and juicy and for fast food a solid deal. And add the gravy on it and it levels up! The hand pies are delicious as well. Sides were meh, biscuits was dry and adobo rice was mid but add some gravy and it saves it. We had not been to Jollibee for quite some time. Since I was in the area, thought it was a good time to stop by for some take out. Seems the prices have gone up a bit! Three meals and 2 pies hit back at $45. Was it worth it?? Well the spicy chicken and spaghetti was perfect. My wife said the palabok was also well made. It's been a while since I've had Jollibee, but all the TikTok mukbangs brought me back! The fried chicken was nice and crispy, but I still prefer the cajun seasoning of Popeyes. The mashed potatoes were alright. Very buttery. The gravy needs more flavor. The adobo rice was good and flavorful. I'm not that into sweet and savory together, but the spaghetti could grow on me if they change whatever hot dogs they use. I'm not a fan of the smell of the hot dogs they use. This Jollibee is just like any other Jollibee you'd go to, I think. They provided quick service; the staff were polite and friendly (little bit impatient though lol). They do have quite a lot of foot traffic even in the evenings. They kept a fairly clean dining area, which was nice. I stopped by with my parents for a quick bite after I was discharged after surgery, and I was starving. We ordered palabok, chicken with rice, fries and pies. My mom also got the pineapple juice; she really liked her pineapple juice. I quite enjoyed the ube pies, so that was nice. Everything else was okay. Chicken was crispy, but fries could've done a little longer cooking so they'd be crispier. Overall, solid service. read more

I'm not sure what's up with the negative stars but I think Jollibee's food is pretty good. Their fried chicken taste pretty good and not greasy like Popeyes. The batter that they used is good and has a very crispy and crunchy taste. Their spaghetti tastes like Chef Boyardee and their fries taste average. I still would give this another go. Only complaint is their price is pretty steep for a fast food chain. Their gravy is good on fried chicken. Their pineapple juice is pretty good and I was very impressed. Not impressed with this place. It was my first time and we waited over 30 minutes to get our food. The orders made on apps kept taking priority to the people in store. We who came in had to keep waiting. Not a great model. Maybe dedicate a few people to app orders and keep the rest for in store customers. I love Jollibee, and this location does not disappoint! I've gone here several times and I feel like the food and service here is pretty consistent. It's a fast food restaurant, so keep that in mind if you have really high expectations lol. In my opinion, the chicken joy here always slaps. It's juicy and well seasoned. The seasoning is different from any other regular fried chicken I've tasted. Also, it's fried chicken, so expect it to be at its peak flavor and texture when eaten fresh. The spaghetti is also really good, but keep in mind it's Filipino spaghetti, so it will be on the sweeter side and will have red hot dogs mixed in. I do wish they added more spaghetti sauce. Also, definitely try the pineapple juice, peach mango pie, and ube pie. This location gets really busy sometimes but I think that's pretty normal for all Jollibees. read more

When we got home the chicken was kind of soggy. I'm sure eating it fresh would have been way better. Also the spicy was really spicy, and I LOVE spicy, I just didn't expect that level of spice from a filipino cuisine. Spaghetti was sweet & savory, and straight-up comfort in a bowl. The little hot dogs hit home. Some people are haters and are just thrown off by the sweet sauce, but if you're adventurous (or just want to try something new), dooo ittt. My family and I recently drove 35 min to visit this Jollibee location. We placed an order of about $100 and waited patiently until our number appeared on the screen as "ready for pickup." When I approached the counter, the staff member working at the time; Gabriel, a young Asian male with glasses; displayed an unexpectedly negative attitude from the beginning. After I mentioned that my number was showing as ready, he responded with an eye roll. To avoid confusion, I asked what he needed me to do since the system indicated the order was ready. He looked directly at me, rolled his eyes again, sighed, and said, "Just wait and I will call you, ok," in a noticeably sarcastic tone. What made the situation more concerning was that other staff members witnessed the interaction and appeared aware of Gabriel's behavior, yet no one stepped in or attempted to coach or redirect him. It is unfortunate because the food itself is very good, almost as good as what we enjoy back in the Philippines and, in my opinion, better than the Jollibee locations we've visited in California. However, the customer service experience overshadowed the quality of the meal. Ironically, Gabriel is also my son's name, which made the interaction even more disappointing. Given the long drive, the amount spent, and the interaction we encountered, we will not be returning to this location. Overall a smooth fast food experience! Even on a Monday at noon, the place was packed and there was about a 20 min wait for food. There was a point where there weren't enough tables for everyone who wanted to dine in, as space is limited, but this didn't last too long. Ordered the 3 pc chickenjoy with 2 sides (adobo rice, spaghetti) and also got mashed potatoes with gravy and the peach/mango pie. All pretty solid for fast food. Thursday 10/12/2023 I made a takeout order and got a pc chicken joy meal $13 (spicy and regular chicken, spaghetti, and a pineapple quencher) and a peach mango pie (for free when making an account). The peach mango pie was wack, didn't really do nothing for me in terms of taste and flavor. The 2 pc fried chicken in regular and spicy were solid but the spicy had a bit more flavor. The spaghetti was decent, it comes with their sweetish tomato sauce and chopped hot dogs. The pineapple quencher was pretty good tho (make sure you get no ice or light ice with it). Jollibee ended up being a mid experience that I can't see myself returning to. read more

The food was definitely an experience! My wife and I enjoyed the chicken tenders and the dipping sauce. The spicy chicken sandwich was zesty and brought some good heat. The fries were about average. The rice Adobo and spaghetti were excellent and a definite buy in place of fries. The pineapple drink was delicious. The mango pie was average but the ube pie was excellent. One drawback: I saw a worker in the men's restroom use the bathroom and walkout without washing their hands. That should be addressed. Even if they do not tough their area using the bathroom, just touching the doors on the stalls and going into the bathroom is covered in germs and half the members serving do not wear gloves. read more

When we lived in the San Francisco Bay Area we always planned on checking out a Jollibee because they have a number of locations and are very popular. Since moving here I did not think any were here. My youngest daughter was watching something on Youtube and someone was eating Jollibee food and she started asking about it. It just so happened that I was at the Wheaton mall and noticed a Jollibee nearby. It was a Saturday and it was packed!! I got their signature chicken and spaghetti for the family to try. Yes...Fried chicken and spaghetti. It does not sound like it should go together at a fast food spot. I was disappointed that they were out of spicy chicken and out of the chicken tenders. When I got it home we all tried it and the chicken was really good (nice and crispy). The spaghetti sauce is on the sweeter side which is the reason I think my daughters liked it (I liked it also). This was my first time at this Jollibee location, and I was impressed by the clean space and ample seating. Ordering was easy, and the staff were incredibly helpful, which was much appreciated. We decided to try almost everything on the menu, but there was a mishap--we ordered spicy chicken, but none of it was spicy, even though the receipt confirmed our order. Despite that, it was a really good option for quick service food, and I'd definitely go back to try the spicy chicken next time. The pie was especially good! read more

The location is conveniently located right as you enter into the shipping plaza. It's pretty busy but the staff was doing their best to get to all of the customers. I ordered chicken strips, two piece chicken, mashed potatoes, a peach mango pie and the new coconut pineapple pie. Aaron was very helpful and gave a order disk to know when to come back to the counter to get the order. There were a few very rude customers pushing through and behaving as if the restaurant was there strictly for them but everyone else was friendly and patient. The wait was a little long but the sign on the door let us know they are looking staff. Dessert first! I enjoyed them both. The coconut pineapple f does not have the artificial sweet coconut taste and I was glad for that. The crust was buttery and the treat itself was not extra sweet ( a plus for me. I don't like super sweet things). The chicken was juicy on the inside and the crunchy on the outside. The spiciness was warm and had just enough kick to it for those who like heat ( me) and not so much to deter those who are iffy with spices. The tenders were good and had a nice crunch. The mashed potatoes and gravy: I ordered with gravy on the side just to be safe ( gravy has no pork according to staff). I didn't like either. The mashed potatoes had no depth of flavor and the gravy, well I can't describe it beyond it reminding me of liquidized dressing ( flavor only). The smoothness of the gravy had me excited. I can now confidently say that I have tried fast food spaghetti, and I liked it. I am aware that this place is known for their chicken, but the chicken didn't interest me. I got myself set up, jacket off and on the back of the chair, and the food beeper went off. I go up to grab my food and stood there for a minute after my tray was handed to me. The employee behind the counter kind of just stared at me and I said I need my cup for my drink. Finally get that, drop my tray at the table and go to the drink station to fill up. Finally get back to the table and start to unpack my food, only to notice that I had no utensils to eat the spaghetti. So back to the counter I go to be stared at again. I tell him I have no utensils and get this deep sigh as if I was asking for the world. I get my fork and scuttle away as if I had just been chastised. Finally able to dig into the food and I was pleasantly surprised. The spaghetti was flavored decently and I swear had pieces of hot dog in it. The Cheesy Yumburger was flavored amazingly. I don't know what they put in their sauce, but it really makes the burger taste amazing. And the fries, are some of the best fast food fries I have ever come across.
