I questioned the manager who apologized but gave me this lame, unacceptable excuse: "because those items are not traditionally included with that burger, the employees just make it the way it's supposed to be made." Hello?? She is admitting that even if you add optional items and Burger King charges you - she is aware her employees don't pay attention to the order. How many people have paid for optional items and been ripped off like this. Her excuse makes it sound like it's intentional because she is aware it's been happening. Isn't charging customers for something and intentionally not giving them what they paid for, illegal? Aren't there consumer protection laws protecting consumers about this?
