Excellent service, excellent food. I ordered 7 original wings with the siracha dry rub. They were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. The bartender at the outside bar kept my drink cup full and cold. Vanessa is an excellent bartender. She took my order and offered me a side and even told me a could get a side of cole slaw for $.11 with my wings. Had she not told me that, I would not have known Great service. I happen to be working in the area, and stopped in randomly and was pleasantly surprised. Never of knowing of this local surf oriented restaurant chain, I decided to give them a go. This is close to my home and a favorite local eatery. Our favorite is the blackened Mahi Mango Salsa bowl. Love the blended flavors of sweet and mild spice. Tico Pico and Banzai Shrimp bowl are equally delicious and filling. Can't go wrong with any of the burgers! read more

An eclectic menu done right! LongDoggers is one of those rare places with an eclectic menu where everything we've tried actually works. We've all been to restaurants with big menus that only execute one category well--or where the American food is solid but anything outside of that completely misses the mark. That hasn't been our experience here. This was our second visit. Two years ago, we happened upon LongDoggers while traveling to the drive-thru Bethlehem at Lakewood Park Church (which is phenomenal and highly recommended). Heading down again for the same event, we considered trying somewhere new, but the good memories of LongDoggers brought us right back. The atmosphere is casual with a bit of a sports-bar vibe, and the food is genuinely good. No photos this time because we were way too hungry to wait the extra five seconds , but I did grab pictures of the menu. Our table ordered the Blackened Shrimp Lettuce Tacos, a Banzai Shrimp Bowl, the Cool Ranch Chicken Sandwich, and a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Every item was a hit. Entrées were $15 and up, especially with upgrades, and meals come with kettle chips. Service was another plus. Our waitress was friendly and attentive without hovering--prompt but not overbearing--and she shared the specials and offered recommendations. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped in around 1:00 pm on a Saturday and were seated right away inside at a booth-style table. By the time we left, there was a clear line and a wait. With my first visit to Rockledge I thought Long Doggers was. A must visit place. The dining area is great. It's patio slash tiki atmosphere is really appealing. All of the servers buzzing around so busy we're all super Florida friendly and very attentive. I got a hot dog with chili and sautéed onions. The dog was great, it had a good bite and was nice and meaty. The bun was substantial to hold up to the ample toppings. I wasn't a big fan of the chili, it was too sweet. The onions didn't stand out either. I got onion garlic french fries and they were F'ing fold. C'mon long doggers cold French fries how can you drop the ball on French fries? That said it's a fun place and the actual hot dog (sausage) has potential so I'd say go try it for yourself. read more

Had Steff has our main waitress who did a great job checking in and making sure everything was okay! I appreciate they have the staff's name at each table - makes it a little more personal (or at least you can remember their name for reviews like this one!) Ordered: - loaded chips 10/10! I was skeptical, but the sauce they add was soooo good! The extra meat was definitely work it too. - breakfast burger also 10/10! The Kaiser roll brought a slight sweetness that I loved, and it made for re-heating leftovers less soggy than normal burgers - fries 9/10. Delicious fries, but adding them to the burger to make a meal was ~$4 more and I didn't feel like we got that many for that price. - extra coleslaw 6/10. Was looking for a place to have dinner while visiting Viera and came to Long Doggers. Ordered the Mahi sandwich (blackened) with fries and the Mahi salsa bowl. The Mahi sandwich was okay, generous portion of Mahi but the fries and bread weren't the best. The Mahi (grilled) salsa bowl was pretty tasty and fresh. It was a good portion of rice, beans, plantains, mango/pico salsa and freshly grilled Mahi. Also ordered a side of corn bread and broccoli and they were good. Staff was really kind and friendly. I might like this Long Doggers better than the one in Cocoa Beach, and I really like the one in Cocoa Beach... We got their early before the dinner rush on a Saturday night so we were sat very quickly at a booth of our choice. As with all Long Doggers, the place is decorated in a beachy and surf-styled theme which resonates with me quite a bit. For dinner we had the clams, the Key Lime Salad, and wings - all of it was deliciously good, and the wait time to get it was short and sweet. Our service was decent enough, I wish she would have checked on us a few more times, but we got drinks when we asked, and we got a few other extras as well. For dessert, my wife got their coconut blueberry pie, which she said was very, very good - it sure looked that way. This is definitely a solid Four-Star locale, and one I definitely will be coming back in this year that's left to come. Oh, and one other thing, I definitely need to go back for their "Local" tees - they looked good and I have to go back to get one. read more

In my opinion, prices are reflected in the charitable contributions this restaurant makes to local little leagues. Food: BUFFALO WINGS - even distribution of flats and drums which is always appropriated when you intend to share! Perfectly fried and perfect amount of Buffalo sauce. Word of advice, if anyone in your party has ever said anything like "too spicy", go for the dry rubs or BBQ sauce, because even the mild Buffalo sauce was too spicy for our guest. LOADED KETTLE CHIPS - another great shareable appetizer that everyone will enjoy! Crispy kettle chips layered high with cheddar, bacon, scallions and sour cream. JOHNNY O DOG - all beef dog in a butter toasted top split roll smothered in chili and coleslaw. Get past the odd parity, this dog was great! Chili was well seasoned and the slaw was a nice crunch to the bite. HAWAIIAN BURGER - buttered Kaiser roll, two smashed angus patties, Swiss cheese, bacon, grilled pineapple, teriyaki sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion. What a powerful flavor! So glad I finally tried this burger! The grilled pineapple and teriyaki brought a slight sweetness to the bite and the bacon and Swiss brought home the savory. The beef patties are perfectly seasoned too! Also they serve waffle fries... that's right, I said WAFFLE FRIES! Decor: Fun, relaxed atmosphere with a surf style decor. Good spot in Viera for lunch. I was with a group of coworkers and we stopped at Long Doggers for a quick lunch the other day and it did not disappoint. The menu was big, seafood, wings, sandwiches, but the hot dogs are what caught my eye. I had a foot long chili cheese dog and it was great. I parked my car elsewhere and I dig in. I ordered a Johnny O Dog as suggested for myself and a plain hot dog and fries for my toddler. The order was pretty sloppy for the Johnny O Dog . There was grease stain on the outside of the box. Both hot dogs were very dry. For my hot dog they put too much coleslaw. It made the hot dog cold and the flavor was pretty bland. It was hard to get a taste of chili, coleslaw and hotdog in each bite. Proportions were off. They gave me no utensils and I understand it's a hot dog but it was so wet and large it's hard to hold like a normal dog. I also needed to cut my toddlers large hot dog.
