You can see the Indian River, and if you happen to be there on a launch night, you get a direct view of rockets launching from Kennedy Space Center. That alone makes this place worth visiting. Service: 10 /10 I ended up joining a larger group, and anyone who has worked in a restaurant knows that can be a challenge. Our server handled it so well. I wish I had gotten her name because she was amazing. She kept up with everyone, made sure drinks and food were coming out consistently, and stayed friendly the entire time. Seriously impressive. Food: 8 /10 I ordered the meat lovers flatbread and the Causeway Cosmo. My guy got the tuna poke bowl and an old fashioned, and we also had some nachos at the table. The flatbread was really good, nice and crispy with great flavor. The poke bowl was decent. He enjoyed it, but I am a little picky with poke. The place, in it's essence, is basically a pizza joint. But it's no ordinary pizza joint as it's modern, sleek, and has a hip-vibe I have never gotten from any other pizza joint I've been to, to date. You order at the counter right inside the entrance and are warmly greeted and happily guided as it was our first time there. The menu is chock full of the mainstays you expect with a few surprises (for us it was mostly on the dessert side of things.) We ordered the Goat Pizza and each had a different dessert - the pizza was deep-dish (which I loved) and all the desserts we had, from a mint cheesecake, an almond flavored tiramisu-looking cake, to their galaxy cake - we shared and we all loved it. Service was super friendly, super attentive, and it was truly sincere - you just can't fake it. I normally don't talk about bathrooms at places I eat at, and I won't go into it in detail, but it was 'entertaining' to see the pics they had up on the wall in their bathroom. Anyway, a fabulous place - an incredible surprise - and I'm looking forward to our next trip back...

Trust me, this place is not even close. The plus at the end is Jean Paul, our waiter. He was so great that by the end of the meal, I asked him if he was forced to work here after losing a bet. He laughed and said, "No." I put in an order for some fish tacos and a Huge double-decker Club sandwich. As stated, Jean Paul was an exceptional waiter, and as such, our food was out quickly and served as ordered. I went from the best fish tacos in Brevard at Island IX to the absolute worst, most foul fish tacos in Brevard, if not the entirety of the Sunshine State. The fish was mealy and tough enough to almost request a galloch knife to dine, the breading flavorless and the tortilla stale. Look at the pictures and tell me those look like they were made with fresh ingredients. The side of fries, while fried to a lovely golden brown, were bottom-of-the-barrel food service tripe and, unless you loaded them with salt, were flavorless. What a combo! Next up on the Big Boys perceptible palate was the Huge Double Decker Club sandwich. This was the saving grace and the reason this was not a Swill Alert. If I had stopped at the appallingly awful fish tacos, it would have been. However, this Huge Double Decker Club was delicious. The bread was toasted to perfection, the bacon was crispy, the tomato was fresh, the lettuce fresh, and the turkey was stacked high. All in all, this was a very good take on the sandwich that has been around since the late 1800s. The side of collard greens, however, is another story. Once again, you have bottom-of-the-barrel food service industrial-strength canned greens. Yuck. They were worse than the greens we got for school lunch. Those were actually not bad. The Big Boy says, "If you get lost out here and haven't eaten in three days, I would still skip this food wasteland."
