I have been a long time fan of Five Guys and have eaten at Five Guys all across the country. They stand out with their optimistic and upbeat culture right when you walk in the door. This location lacks that enthusiasm Five Guys is known for. Most of the staff seem unhappy to be there and are hard to engage in simple meaningful conversation. The one exception to this was one time the manager took my order and she was awesome. Five Guys is also known for the quality and freshness of the food. This location delivers 6/10 on the quality and freshness. I can't nail down what it is but it just doesn't taste the same. It's the only one in the area so I keep coming back. They generally do not overfill the fries at this location either. The one time was also when the manager took my order and made sure to top it off Five Guys style.

    Best part of my meal

Absolutely a joke came in at 8 o'clock and we were not even greeted we were asked how many patties we had to ask the gentleman 3 times what and he said she wants to know how many patties? He said she is getting ready to close down and she wants to know how many patties before we place the order. The only person doing this job was the male cook. The place was disgusting the tables were dirty there was food smashed on the floor the chairs were pulled out from other tables there was only 5 customers in there and I knew the other 2 from church. The food was cold and unpalatable and they have the audacity to put a tip line on their cash readers who receive as Well as have tip charge on the counter? Tip means to ensure prompt proper service pleasurably pleasurably. The best part of my meal was the Fanta Orange and the ketchup. $33.00 I just got yanked!

I took my order to-go because of the amount of people there at 11:10 AM or so when I arrived...no tables were open. The line moved relatively quickly with the exception of a few people that had no idea what "move along to the front" means when it's standing room only and you're waiting for your food. I got my burger and headed back to the office; it's about an 8-10 min trip. When I got to my desk the bun was so wet (on top and bottom) that my fingers literally went through it. As far as the meat quality and flavor I think it's much better than any other "fast food" burger in the metro. The other components were nice and fresh... Service was stellar considering the volume they were pumping out. I'm guessing there won't be this many people working in their kitchen when the newness factor dies down; or maybe they'll add an additional franchise location here if it doesn't... The prices for drinks and milkshakes seemed kind of high to me...but maybe I'm just cheap. $2.39 and $2.69 for sodas. Had I been able to eat there it might now have seemed that bad...but for one glass full and no opportunity for a refill after leaving it seemed high ($1 large special at McDs right now). $4.49 for a milkshake that looked to be pretty darn small... I didn't realize the fries were ala carte. I was a 5 Guys virgin until today so I wasn't familiar with the drill... I'd already paid for my burger when I realized my mistake. I figured if I tried to correct it and add fries to my order, after the fact, people might riot. ;) So I paid $9+ for a pretty good double-cheeseburger (regular) that basically self-destructed after transit... If I'm doing my math right a bacon cheeseburger, little fries, and a regular drink (plus tax) at 5 Guys would be $15.02. It was a good burger...but I was largely unimpressed... Bacon cheeseburger and tasteless soggy fries.

No signature burgers. You tell them what to put on, so about as basic as it comes and frankly nothing special. Fries are soggy, not seasoned, and taste like eating raw potatoes. Both coworkers I came with said they will not come back. I tried it once, so I can say I ate here. Please go to B-BOP'S next plaza and make yourself happy.

I've been a Five Guys fan since I first tried it almost ten years ago. So you can imagine my excitement when I heard WDM was getting one. We wanted to go opening day but didn't want to wait in the huge line so we came back four days later. There was still a line out the door but by only a handful of people. The place was packed, hot, loud, "smokey," and covered in peanut shells. The line area is outlined by boxes of peanuts, bags of potatoes, and boxes of peanut oil. We waited in line for maybe twenty minutes while our daughter entertained herself by picking up peanut shells from the floor and throwing them away (I kid you not). She sure entertained the line with this. You'll notice right away that the prices are higher than other fast food places. But, in my opinion, the quality is worth the price. Something you need to know if you've never been is the "Little Hamburgers" are a single patty while the "Hamburger" has two patties. There are a ton of topping selections and they are free! I got the Little Bacon Cheeseburger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and BBQ sauce. It was delicious! My husband had the Cheeseburger fully loaded. He enjoyed his as well. We ordered a plain hot dog for our daughter. At almost $5 it's expensive for sure. Especially when she ate only a couple pieces and the bun. I guess the bun is great. Haha! My husband finished her hot dog and he said it was a really good one. On to the French fries. My family of three can easily share a "Little" fry. I much prefer the Cajun ones but with a young child, we just can't do the spice. So we had to get the plain. The plain are just that, plain. Not my favorite. The secret to containing the fries are to take all the sandwiches out of the bag, lay the bag on its side and tear the bag "open" on the top side. No mess and easy to share. The (women's) bathroom is a large single toilet room. There is a changing table and plenty of room around it. It was a clean bathroom and wasn't smokey. I'm so glad I finally got to have my Five Guys fix after a couple years. I'm sure we'll be back in the future and hope for less of a wait (for our sake).

Just like the last time I had a burger from Five Guys, it was delicious! I hope that they keep at it with the quality and freshness and the flavors! The atmosphere: Lots and lots of people. They told us they sold quite a lot today for opening day. We went at 9:20pm and they close at 10pm tonight. The line was non-stop. People were coming and going. The service: Good service, friendly staff! The Food: Little Bacon Cheeseburger - 4/5 all toppings are free by request. I put lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, onions and mushrooms. Small fries - 4/5 the fries were cooked well and seasoned perfectly. Usually the fries here are hit or miss for me in the other states I've had it, but today was yummy! Bacon Vanilla Milkshake - 4/5 Hubby ordered this and he and his mini me loved it! Would definitely be back again when I'm craving a fresh burger!

Way to expensive for quality of food. Go only if you have a lot of cash or a credit card with a high limit

I arrived around 3:00 PM on June 20 and sat at a mostly empty bar. After receiving my drink, I asked for a menu. Instead of a simple explanation, the bartender rudely told me to "turn around" and pointed toward the food line. I apologized and explained that I had never been there before. The interaction only got worse from there. As I walked the short distance to the food line--with my suitcase still sitting at the bar because I was traveling--the bartender yelled across the room asking whether I wanted a tab. I immediately apologized again and explained that I wasn't from the area and wasn't familiar with how their process worked. When I handed him my card, his response was sarcastic and condescending. Another customer at the bar actually exchanged a look with me because the behavior was so unnecessary and awkward. The food itself was good. The tenders and Brussels sprouts were enjoyable, and the young man taking food orders was professional, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the bartender continued to ignore me for the remainder of my visit. My drink sat empty for an extended period of time. He looked directly at my empty glass multiple times without acknowledging it while continuing to serve other customers. A female bartender eventually noticed and offered another drink. When it came time to leave for my flight, I politely asked for my check. The bartender responded with more sarcasm and attitude while trying to locate my tab. After another unnecessarily rude exchange, he finally found it and immediately turned the payment screen toward me, instructing me to add a tip. At that point, I told him directly that he had been rude to me throughout my entire visit. His response was essentially, "Yeah, sorry," in a tone that made it clear he wasn't sorry at all. I left a zero-dollar tip, which is something I NEVER do. And I made sure he knew. He looked and stomped away. The frustrating part is that this experience was completely avoidable. I was a first-time customer in an unfamiliar restaurant environment, asking normal questions and trying to be polite. Instead of receiving basic hospitality, I was treated like an inconvenience from the moment I sat down. The kitchen staff and the woman bartender were great. The male bartender working around 3 PM on June 20 was not. One employee shouldn't be enough to make a customer leave angry, but in this case, he absolutely was. I would not return, and I cannot recommend this establishment based on the service I received.
