Brought my truck in for wash/detailing. $110, pretty regular price. After I left, noticed my house keys were no longer in the cup holder as I left them. Called them, lady told me to call back in 20. Called back, she said nobody turned them in. I asked if she actually got up and asked anyone and she said yes. Not finding this acceptable as I was 99.8% certain they had my keys, I drove back there. The same lady at the desk just shrugged her shoulders and asked what I wanted her to do about it. Before I let myself completely blow up on her, I went home and jumped the fence to get into my own house to triple check I didn't leave the keys on my counter. Now 99.9% sure they had my keys I called back and she still asked me what I expected her to do about it when I asked her what the policy was for such an incident. She told me to hold on to help another customer, and after 10 minutes Eric the manager answered. He took three minutes to go ask his guys, and yes, they had my keys. I understand simple mistakes, but the customer service of the front desk lazy troll wasted about four hours of my day. By the way, not even an offer of a coupon or a free car wash for the inconvenience. One star experience, but giving them another because my truck WAS clean. read more

They broke my car Radio antenna which cost hundreds to repair and they were not responsible with the situation at hand. They drove my car through the car wash that had broke the antenna and then told me that they were not responsible then didn't even refund the car wash. I came here for the first time today. The gentleman who greeted me kindly explained how the car wash worked and all of the options available. I asked for the $14 package, just a wash and interior vacuum. I was pushed into an upgraded $20.99 package which would include a complete interior wipe down, vacuum along with a tire treatment. It was very busy, so I anticipated a long wait. I was told to pay the cashier, wait inside and my name would be called. After 45 minutes, I walked outside to have one of the employees shake his towel in my direction. I thought he was motioning to a coworker, so I continued waiting. Several minutes later, he again shook the towel in my direction, so I motioned to myself, and he angrily nodded his head and summoned me to hurry up. I was rushed into my car and out of the parking lot. I figured I would give him the benefit of the doubt because they were busy and had a lot of cars coming in. I didn't have a chance to look in the backseat or at the outside of the vehicle until I was home. The backseat and floor boards were not vacuumed and all four side doors were not wiped down. Although the outside of the car looked nice, the hub caps were not fully cleaned of brake dust (see photo). I've been several times and the service continues to get worse with each visit. The first time I was there it wasn't great but acceptable. Since then the employees have grown an attitude as if the working conditions are near unbearable. Today another customer informed me my car was ready not a carwash employee. When I walked out to my car the employee who gave me my keys grunted in exasperation because I interrupted what he was working on & rudely commented I'll get your keys in moment then snatched the paid receipt out of my hands and walking away as it fell to the ground without even looking at it, thanking me for my business or inviting me to return. All the carwash places in the Ventura / Oxnard / Ojai area seem to have issues with cleaning cars and continuing to provide customer service. read more

My boyfriend took my car here. We paid for the Ambassador wash. The back seats, the carpet, and the console were not vacuumed. When he tried to talk to them about it he was asked to leave. When I saw the car I called and was given the runaround about speaking to the manager. I was told he wasn't there for the next 2 days, but "the other guy" was there. I've been coming here over 30 years. The relatively new guy that writes your ticket is the RUDESDT person I have ever encountered at this place. Previously, I've been treated with respect. At first I thought maybe just a bad day. Now, 3 times in a row he has been a jerk and tried bullying us into a $100 wax job each time, insinuating our carts are a mess and cannot be cleaned properly unless detailed. I am not a bigot by any means and always tip the guys well. I explained to the cashier that in our country, the customer is generally considered right and I don't appreciate being talked to like that. She just smiled. Normally I give this place five stars but today they tried to tell me that where the bodywork of my Xterra simply curves inward down behind my tires somehow qualifies as being the undercarriage and therefore I would have had to pay $5 more to have the small dirt splatters removed which is totally lame. Anyway, just make sure you clarify that point with them before giving them the keys in case they give you that Same Song & Dance... They do a good job so I will be back but still that was pretty weak that they don't actually know the English definition of undercarriage, which is the framework under the body of a vehicle and not the bodywork itself. read more

Have been to this car wash a few times and it's nothing short of amazing. They have always done an amazing job and I will continue to be a regular customer. I had huge scratches on the trunk of my year-old BMW and was ready to pay $1000 to fix them. However, I decided to at least bring in my car to get it buffed & waxed. The manager was very helpful during the entire process and was very honest about what work could be done. They spent a very long time on my car and worked thoroughly. honestly i've been taking my old car here for a year now and have never had a problem, i decided to bring my new one in and get a wash. i only came in for a wash but when i pulled up he recommended a clay bar and wax. i agreed because i did need that, but i also need the inside of my car vacuumed and cleaned. He agreed he would do that come to find once i got home that the back had not been vacuumed and they didn't even pull out the carpets to vacuum underneath them. $140 and the main thing i wanted done didn't get done. this has been my favorite places to get my car washed for a while now but a half-done job on wax and couldn't even vacuum the interior? unacceptable. the reason i come back is because of how close they pay attention to detail, but they completely flopped it on this one. you think with a newer car they would give the same attention and care. read more

I have a new sports car that I usually wash myself in order to baby it. I decided to take it here the last couple of times. When it was done today, the manager ran up to me, met me at my car saying "come see the damage you got because of the roads". I looked at all the little chipped paint spots that dotted the front couple of feet of my hood. I said, no way, these were not here when I brought my car in an hour ago. Trust me I baby this car. Go at your own risk!!! Let me first say that I have gone to this car wash every Saturday for a year and a half and I have been pleased with their service UNTIL last weekend. Once my car had gone through the wash one of the workers approached me and said that he just wanted to make sure I knew that I didn't have wipers on my car when I brought it in. I knew this was totally incorrect because I had just purchased and installed brand new wipers three days prior. I had them check the wash and sure enough my wipers were found. One was totally broken in half while the other was in alright condition. I went and talked to the manager/owner who knows how often I frequent the car wash to see what he could do. In my opinion he could have at the very least given me my money back since I had to replace a new wiper but instead he refused to do anything other than give me a 'free' car wash...as if I would ever come back. Would he have given me a free wash if he scratched it too? A free wash may end up costing a whole lot more than you think! read more

They always do a pretty good job here, I've been coming for years and my suggestion is if you want a good, thorough, basic cleaning of your car then its the place to go. But I think their detailing work ($40+) could use some improvement, if you want to do a full detail ($100+) I would recommend trying a place that specializes in only that. read more

Five Points offers a basic wash for a reasonable price, and I think they do a really good job. It can get pretty busy on the weekends and on sunny, nice days.
