They ran test and showed me a video of a cracked spark plug and told me "this is where they wanted to start" in order to figure out what was wrong with my car. They gave me a list of other things and quoted me $1600. That seemed highly to me so I called my brother for some advice, as I know it's not uncommon for women to to be pressured into paying for services that can wait or aren't necessary. At this point I changed my mind and decided to get a second opinion. When I asked if I could get my car back I was told it would be a $189 for the diagnostic. I asked why they didn't state this upfront and was told they did. No they did not. I would have just taken my car to Autozone for free. There was some hesitation on their end to give me my car back. At this point I started to feel scared and they began pressuring me into letting them work on my car. I stated that I was going to have another mechanic look at my car. They were rude and aggressive saying, "Mazda vehicles require Mazda parts!" I just paid the absurd fee and left. I took my car to a different mechanic and they walked me into their bay and physically showed me that none of my spark plugs were cracked. Old maybe but not cracked. I was then informed because the dealership cleared the codes on my car that they can't see why my engine light came on in the first place. I'm absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism of Norm Reeves. I paid $200 for what?! They clearly took advantage of me and I will never do business here again and I will tell everyone I know!

For example, one of the other car dealerships prevented us from taking the car to an independent mechanic! You know they were hiding something with the car. Anyway, not only did Texas Cars Direct let us take the car to an independent mechanic, they were professional, not pushy like some of the other guys we dealt with, and easy to do business with. Mike, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you for selling us the newest car in our company fleet! P.S. If you come across a clean, unmolested 1990 to 1993 Mustang convertible, give me a call!

    I purchased a Ford F250 from TexasCarsDirect back in September. I flew in from Chicago to pick up…read morethe truck. Upon arriving and meeting with David Urby, I took the truck for a test drive. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

After researching online for months, I knew exactly what I wanted, as well as how much my trade (2016 pristine RAV XLE with 40,000 miles) was worth. I visited a couple other Jeep dealerships in the Arlington area prior to Clay Cooley. Cooley offered me a fair price for my trade as well as a good deal on the 2023 Jeep Renegade I wanted. One thing I specified from the salesman PRIOR to going into the finance office, was two keys and an owner's manual. I was assured that I would receive both. The sale was easy. I paid the balance between my trade and the new vehicle in cash so that I would not have a note. I called a few days later for the status of my second key. I was told that it was in process. Well, MONTHS, calls, texts, and emails later, I was finally told by a manager that "preowned vehicles usually don't come with a second key, and your salesman shouldn't have told you that." I also, over the course of those weeks, learned that I didn't have a spare. I researched and learned that some Renegades don't come with a spare, BUT he should have told me that. Anyway - I purchased a fullsize spare from a local tire place. Had they told me that Renegades don't always come with a full spare, I may have purchased it from them, but they kept that info from me, and lost a sale. THEY NEVER EVEN OFFERED ME A DISCOUNT to purchase the spare key from them!!! I ordered a spare key fob from eBay and am now looking for a locksmith to program it. Cooley is the worst! Know that I love the Renegade, and will put hardly any miles on it, as I'm retired. It was my dream Jeep, and I plan on having it forever. All I wanted from them was a spare key, which probably wouldn't have cost them a hundred dollars. They not only lost a future customer, but I will spread the word on how AWFUL they are.

The front desk team was so nice & even let me wait in their (very nice) waiting room while I waited on roadside assistance, which wasn't going well. Andrew, an employee actually ended up changing my tire for me ON HIS BREAK, which I thought was such an above & beyond action, so because of this whole inconvenient situation that turned out to be so lovely, I plan to revisit this Carmax for when I'm ready to become an actual customer. I bought a car from here and…read moreimmediately had problems (puncture in the tire, needed a new catalytic converter, replacement of different hoses). It was all covered under warranty, but no one has had ANY urgency to help you once they've sold the car. It has been a nightmare scheduling appointments and actually getting any work done. I've heard from four separate employees that "we'll give you a call back" and then never heard from any of them. This car was supposed to have been done yesterday but they had delays of course. I've currently been sitting in the store for 4 hours because an employee told me it would be done 4 hours ago (still not done, I guess the tech never picked up the needed part). The lack of communication between employees, techs, and managers is actually mind blowing. The only reason this is getting 2 stars is because the service manager has actually been trying to help us, but it has still been a painfully long process to repair the brand new car I bought.
