Where do I start. I went to finance a vehicle with clay cooley and was assisted by a Cameron. Very nice guy with good intentions...but was so determined to make a sale that he failed to follow procedures to ensure we would not have any problems after signing the contract. 2 weeks after buying my vehicle I get up and get in my vehicle and a man approaches my car in front of my house in a 2010 impala and a red clay cooley shirt asking for the keys to my car no tow truck NOTHING.. just him. My car note isnt even due at this point. How fcking crazy. I asked why and he pulls out his cell phone and puts a woman on the line and she proceeds to tell me " oh well the bank didnt want to finance you because you couldnt provide a W2 so we need the car back " . Proceeded to tell me its a felony if we dont return the car. No mention of the 1200 dollars i put down being returned to me ...no mention of them assisting me with getting financed with another bank or in house financing..no mention of helping me get another car. Just give them the dam car back and go about my buisness. Why didnt they ask for a W2 when i was signing paper work and they was asking for money. Why let me WALK OUT THE FCKING DEALERSHIP IF MY JOHN HANCOCK PAYCHECK STUBS INSURANCE MONEY AND UTILITY BILL WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH! SO at this point I call the dealerhip get transferred to voicemails and people who dont know wtf is going on. Finally I get to a Jennifer who tells me that if i return the car they will give me my down payment back no questions asked. Okay fine Id rather not deal with yall anyways just give me my fkking money. I return the car and ask for my money. Got into an arguement with a salesman named STACY because he states im not getting anything back. Speak to several other people who are giving me diffrent info im ready to get a fucking Lawyer. To wrap up this review I gave them 1200 dollars they took my fucking car back and dont want to give another one or my money. I just had a baby I dont have money to give away and im in dire need of transportation this whole situation is confusing and causing major stress. I bought a car from here. Buy your car somewhere else. This place has the worst customer service when it comes to buying cars. They are liars, and be very careful when talking to the finance people. They have a way of making you think things are free "throwing it in" when they are really hiking up the price of the sale. I was told I could refinance. A lie that they knew, since they were the ones making the loan amount more than the car is worth. I left there with no information about the warranties on my car, so never got to use them, didn't get to use the free satellite radio trial (because they do not give you information on how to do that either. I needed some code.), and a chip on the windshield they wouldn't fix that they hid during the buying process. Don't call. They don't answer the phone, or transfer you from person to person until you hang up. They didn't call me when my plates were ready. She said she emailed me to pick them up. When I asked what email address, she gave me some random one. I told her that's not my email address, and she says "Oh yeah, sometimes they do that." What? Write down fake email addresses? What kind of company is this? I couldn't even use the service plan past three times because the last time they tried to upcharge me so much when I just wanted an oil change that it took me hours to leave. Not worth my time. And one time I heard some weird sound coming from my car. Apparently some leaves got caught somewhere underneath the car. Even though I had all of those warranties and service plans, this wasn't covered, and they charged me $150, and did the work first before coming out to tell me that's what they were doing and charging me. I was not sure 1st about the place because of all the freeway construction in that area also you always want to be carful as I'm always worried dealing with car sales people but I have to say to be fair to these guys they are doing it right and they are all about making the customer happy they go out of there way to make sure I got the deal I want my sales guy MR Haywood and his manager Marshal were both super nice and easy to work with no pressure whatsoever in this place I got that impression from the other customers I was setting next to in the waiting area to go see the finance manager (Kareem) he was super nice and fast as well when he did our paperwork , we did meet the General Manager and he stamped his cell phone number on our coffee symbol just in case if we needed to get hold of him in the future... What a surprise! I was totally blown away by how well I was treated from start to finish...my sales girl Jazmine was extremely helpful and answered all my questions...since this was my first time buying a Nissan I had a lot of questions for her. I was stuck between a camry and a maxima but after driving the maxima I knew that I had to have it but I did not want to waste half of my life at the dealership haggling about price...my least fave thing in the world, so I was surprised when I was introduced to the store manager Mo right after I got back from test driving my car (to be) he explained that he was going to give me the best price upfront without the back and forth...and guys what? HE DID! Not only did I get the car I wanted, I got a good deal with minimum effort :) I will recommend them to anyone who wants to just get a good deal without the hassle! Buyer beware, Clay Cooley Nissan in Irving has a team of individuals that have mastered deception. Usually when I read reviews, I think of a company not being able to please everyone. But the reviews posted prior to my posting are similar to the complaints I have experienced with this dealership. I will never buy from this company again or recommend them. And maybe this review will help someone avoid making a mistake. The price guarantee is not accurate and you will pay thousands more for a vehicle that is not worth the money. Please go to another dealership. Management and Sales at this place are on a different scale of manipulation, in my opinion. And I have bought a few vehicles and this is the worst I have seen. I wonder if the corporate office at Clay Cooley know what is going on at this location. This company has no integrity and this was a legal robbery. Don't step foot in the door. Very rude. Very unprofessional. Would not let me see the car first even to decide which model or trim level we like. The new girl they have was stuck on one same question. What are your current payments on the trade in and what payments am i looking to get. I asked her 7 times politely Ma'am Can i see the 2017 Maxima Platinum First. Me and wife needed to compare it with Honda accord and decide between the two. But after 7 times of asking her politely i just lost my calmness and said you know what i will just go to Honda. Thank you for your time. And she goes like ohh your rude as well and I don't wanna deal with you. Anyways i left and went to Grubbs Nissan. Purchased the car same night from them. 0 issues. Do not trust these people to sell you a car, especially Marcus G. My daughter purchased a Frontier from them a few months ago and they kept us there for 6 hours and we'll say they forgot to add GAP, but told us they would add it. My daughter got into an accident and we found out they never added it. Now I have contacted GM Hector Lebron but keep getting the run around to cancel the other warranties and the ELO GPS service. He has passed the buck twice to his finance advisors and still I have not received proof of cancellations. I've contacted him a third time and now he won't respond. I also found out that the truck we traded in; they cancelled the warranty on that vehicle and deducted the amount from our payoff and used it as part of the payoff. The first time I went here and tried to buy a car from them, I had a really bad experience with one of the finance reps, I left the place feeling really aggravated and without a car. Next day the sales manager contacted me and asked me to give them a chance to make it right for me and they did. They gave me a better deal and made sure this time the whole experience was professional, nice and easy. The sales rep - Kairy, and the sales manager - Larry were nice and helpful, Kairy even took the time to explain how to use the shifter. The finance rep who helped me this time was so professional and polite, just great! I absolutely don't regret going back and getting my car from them. Now I'm a happy customer with a brand new car. Yesterday I took my car to get inspected at a Quick Lube on Fitzhugh. The tire pressure alert was on and covering the milage. Lube said they can't do the inspection without the milage. Said they air'd up the tires and couldnt get the alert off, need to go to the dealer. I was pretty frustrated. Made an Appt for this morning at 7:30A. When the service guy looked an said "Well, I've never seen that before" I knew I was in trouble. After an hour and a half he came and got me. I girded my loins for the bad news. "Its $25. We air'd up the tires to spec and the alert cleared. Oh, and we hand washed your car". $25 dollars for the inspection. No charge for clearing the alert, which we all know took their time. He suggested the Nissan Sentra and the Nissan Kicks and I was skeptical about the Kicks but once I sat in it I was totally sold. The Sales Associate was friendly, helpful, patient, and was able to provide great selling points on the vehicle without being "pushy." There vehicle I specifically wanted was available at two different dealerships, but I chose Clay Cooley since they have serviced my vehicle for years and I have consistently received great customer service. There was a minor issue regarding what was posted on the website description vs. the actual vehicle. The person finishing the sale was able to work with his manager and make this issue right.
