There was a little hiccup when I came in for the actual quote as they did not have my measurements on hand since it was all on one computer. It would be nice if they have made several copies in hand. However despite that, their Service recovery was great as I was compensated for my time. The installers were excellent! Fast and efficient, despite the heatwave, the installers worked through! We decided last minute to replace the carpets before selling my Mother's house. This is my overdue update and sincere public apology to Joe. I highly recommend this company. We had a little difficulty with vinyl plank flooring on the stair noses and cracking but Joe promised to re-order product and redo entire stair case. Jerry came out and did an awesome job. Stairs are perfect and have not cracked. Joe figured out cracking was due to a manufacturer stair nose defect. Of course, we didn't know product was defective because the manufacturer denied claim on product so we thought it was an install issue. To Joe's credit, he was very patient and understanding and more importantly, a man of his word. Very ethical, professional business. What started from a screw-up from Loews (and a complete waste of time even after a measurement) brought us to a wonderful flooring company right in our back yard. Yep, now I'm a loyal customer with Five Star Floors. My first phone contact with Joe was pleasant and sincere and although it was a little tricky to find their showroom it was worth the effort. They have plenty of selection of carpets and all the current flooring you can imagine. They made it really easy! Rodger came out for the measure and was a true professional at his task. After we made our selections, we put a small deposit down. Waited a few days for the product to come in and then scheduled the job. We had pre-primed base boards ordered and I was able to pick them up myself (16 footers) and paint them prior to the installer's arrival. And speaking of the installers, they were polite and wore their masks. They did a wonderful job installing the hard flooring and then carpet and pads in the two end rooms. They were on time, tidy, clean and the outcome was perfect. A job well done! Looking to redo all floors in my house. I fount Five stars on yelp. I already had a bid of $10300. After meeting with Joe it was $6300. I put my down payment down 01/03/2019 and they showed up 01/09/2019. First day arrival at 9am. If the door is open then they get to work. I Leave at 7:15 and they were there before I went to work. Last summer we contracted through Lowes to have 1000 sq ft of carpet installed in the upstairs of our new home. We were really impressed with Joe, Erin and Jeremy on their responsiveness, follow thru and workmanship. In selling our condo, we decided to go through Lowes again due to our last experience with Five Star to install 1100 sq ft of carpet. Once again the entire team exceeded our expectations. Over a year later, we decided we wanted to install 400 sq ft of hardwood bamboo in our living room/dinig room. We went back to Lowes and they sent someone to measure but it wasn't Joe. We requested Five Star and were told they were no longer contracted with Lowes. I didn't get a comfortable feeling with the other contractor so we cancelled everything with Lowes and called Joe. He returned my call on a weekend and was working with us on Monday. He recommended a stronger hardwood which turned out beautifully and ensured we were happy. We needed to level the floor which was a concern for us, but Joe came in under budget and under the deadline. Jerry worked on this project with us. He ensured great communication and worked hard to get things done. All 3 projects had crews that were professional and always cleaned up at the end of the day and job. 5-Star did a carpet install of two bedrooms and a living room. One of bedrooms was a tad wider than 12' (12' x 15'); the standard carpet roll width. Other installers estimated the required carpet well beyond what was needed for the job arguing that they would need to roll the carpet in a direction that would have left me with excess, unused carpet. 5-Star acknowledged that a 12' roll could be stretched to fit the width, estimated the required material correctly and did the install perfectly saving me several hundred dollars. Sound too good to be true? Them's the facts:) Only regret is that I started the process by dealing with a different installer before learning about 5-Star. I'm a fan! read more

This is the second time we have used 5 Star Flooring. The name is accurate to the type of service we received. We saw Joe yesterday as we needed flooring for our laundry room. He walked us through the process and gave us great advice. He was trying to save us money while getting a better product then we intended. With in an hour we had a professional friendly guy ( sorry forgot his name) come out and measure the room. The next day, (today) two more professionals came to our house and installed the floor.
