However, he said the seal plate was fine, and did not need to be replaced at this time. I appreciated his honesty, as he could have charged us more for an unnecessary repair. While he was at our house, I also noted that one of the valves leaked when we ran the spa, and he quickly diagnosed and addressed the issue. Finally, after he left, I noticed that one of the connections (which he had removed to repair the pump and motor) was leaking. He ended up coming back multiple times to correct the problem (he ended up replacing a pinched o-ring), and he even checked in a few days later to ensure everything was working smoothly. Super nice guy, he was very knowledgeable (he mentioned having experience as a Pentair technician), and honest, and his pricing felt more than fair. While I hope we don't have any more issues with our pool or pool equipment, I would not hesitate to hire Marcus again in the future.

They gave us lots of options to replace our coping and upgrade to pebble tec/tile but we were on a tight budget and they understood this. There wasn't any pressure to from them to consider the more luxury options. We ended up wanting to go with whatever needed to get done and added on their startup service. I went to the showroom to pick out tile for the waterline and they had so many options to choose from. We decided to go with the pebble tec (because of the longevity aspect) the day before they were going to plaster and they were so accommodating.
