I have nothing but amazing things to say about this grocery store!!! Such a great tourist friendly location to sip, eat a light meal & relax. My Fiancé & I took a vacation to Napa, CA when i came across this beautiful resort with hidden gems all over their campus. *Ambiance/Cleanliness: 5/5 Immediately I noticed the great taste of furniture, lighting & entire set up & it felt like home to me. They had different items to choose from such as wine bottles, backpacks, bottled cocktails, beer, board cutters, & anything you can really think of! *Taste/Quality: 5/5 I tried THE BEST iced white mocha at this little grocery store & the only thing that I don't like is how I cant have it shipped to me across the country every single day! I have yet to stop thinking about this drink. It's not too strong on caffeine, but rather the perfect blend of white chocolate, vanilla, milk & espresso! *Service: 10/5 The two friendly ladies Rebeca & Lily went from greeting us to making drinks at the bar & even recommending awesome souvenirs that i will cherish forever. They went above & beyond to make sure that me & my fiancé had the best time. They were highly knowledgeable on the resort & recommended great wines for us to taste at Trinitas (on their campus) after we left the grocery store. Overall, we will be making another trip this year & we hope to have the same service & overall quality we had in our last trip. I've been returning to the Vino Bello resort for several years and I am overjoyed at the opening of Fivetown Grocery across the street from us! Dawa has always been a pleasure to run into during our early am coffee runs. They have a great selection on coffee, lattes, and pastries if you need a morning pick me up. Additionally, the selection is always great--filled with so many choices and always neatly stocked for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I cannot wait to return and hopefully run into Dawa! :-) Once again, the service here has been nothing short of exceptional and we are looking forward to returning very soon. I stopped in while I was waiting to pick up some wine at Trinitas. The place was not busy since it was the beginning of the week. Only 3 people were there. I was hoping to get a cup of coffee before hitting the road. I hung out a bit at the espresso and coffee station, but no service or anyone stating that they would be with me to take an order! No salutations as I entered the door. The 2 cashiers were not busy. I think staff here need a review in customer service. I guess it's PEETs coffee here I come! read more

First time in ...customer service from Dawa was outstanding!! Grabbed the coffee bread which was the best I've ever had and sampled the salted caramel cookie which was nice and warm fresh out of the oven and was completely amazing!! Will be going back for sure!! read more

I Love this place. I work close by, so I stop in for breakfast or lunch sometimes. Its at a resort, so the foot traffic is pretty low, which = faster service. For breakfast I get the Egg white and spinach sandwich which comes on a pretzel bun; it also has a seasoned cream cheese...and its served warm. That sandwich is so good that in the 1+ years I've been coming here I've yet to try anything else when it comes to breakfast. Now Lunch...This is one of my absolute favorite sandwiches in all of Napa. Its Pastrami, cole slaw, potato chips and "Five Town sauce". The flavors and textures are a brilliant symphony, and I am not exaggerating. The sandwich often still provides and emotional experience even after I have had it countless times. I usually get a latte in the morning which is usually just fine, and for lunch I stick with my own water, although they have a plethora or beverages, including these really cool little bottled cocktails you can buy. I have had a few or their "old fashions" and "grey hound"-like cocktails, and kinda liked them. Nice thing is there portable. As a local it may seem weird to go to a resort for food... trust me, people stay at those resorts for a reason. Life is good when your there! read more

Why oh why! Fivetown you have an interesting name, a cool bear logo, and great conceptually idea. You have some items that might appear in a gourmet market with prices that would make some blush; but my friend you are not a gourmet market. There is no way a local would ever come here as a destination its just not that type of place. Staying across the street I ventured over here to pick up some coffees and gourmet breakfast sandwiches to start our day. I passed on the food options in the Meritage because the online description so deliciously described Fivetown's offerings. Disappointment commence in 3.2.1 Issues- 1. pre-made sandwiches (ala Starbucks but $$$). They have 4 sandwiches all pre-made and reheated in a rapid cooking convection style micro wave oven. Fourtown Grocery taking away a town. 2. No veggie sandwich option with normal egg just egg white which is fine if thats what you want but not all v-terians want just egg white and since sandwiches are pre-made it's tough luck. Threetown Grocery it is! 3. Bread and eggs reheated are not as good therefore not gourmet and not worth the high prices. Twotown Grocery time for a new sign. 4. Online cashew and oatmilk are listed as non-dairy options but they didn't have either. Onetown Grocery starting to sound less gourmet 5. Cold Brew- no cold brew at 8 am because its not brewed yet?? hello you are a coffee counter in a gourmet market why wouldn't you put the coffee to brew in the fridge at the end of the night before so you have it for the morning. I'm no coffee expert but I'd be willing to bet more coffee is drank in the morning than at any other time of day. No town Grocery I'm outta town and sure not to return for breakfast. On the plus side- Staff was friendly, and they had a house-made fermented hot sauce which made the bland sandwiches edible. Overall- Nothing special at all here and not great food for the price. Dawa, who oversees Fivetown, and her team, always greet us with the utmost of hospitable pleasantries. This place is in such a beautiful place in napa valley. The inside of this grocery store is so farm styled and beautiful. The staff was amazing the ladies who made my coffee to the young men who helped me with my sandwiches. What caught me off guard were the RAT TRAPS by the garbage cans that I saw when throwing away my sandwich wrappings. We also saw a small mice or rat. I don't know what it was but it was gross I automatically left disgusted which is why im giving this a 1 star GROSS ! I do not understand the hate on these reviews?! We stayed across the street at the Meritage for 4 days! Fivetown was our go to every day for breakfast/coffee and lunch/charcuterie. We are from columbus Ohio - we own restaurants - and feel like we have a good feel for quality food and service - Fivetown exceeded our expectations in both. Hello! We are local Napa residents and today we had the pleasure of going to Vista Collina for an amazing day! We cannot recommend this venue enough for those who live in The Valley or those visiting our beautiful Valley. The staff at Five Town Grocery made our day AMAZING! They went out of their way to set up our picnic area and catered to all our needs. Makenzie and Dawa worked together to add all the finishing touches to an amazing day! They both went out of their way to ensure that we had all our needs met and beyond! I cannot say enough about the quality of the customer service, the food, the atmosphere and the music! Living in the Napa Valley for 20+ years, I think this may have been the BEST customer service we have ever received! I highly recommend visiting this location and having lunch at Five Town Grocery! Stopped here yesterday (1/19/19 around 1:30PM ) to pick-up a sandwich for lunch after a wine tasting on the property. I ordered the Brisket (Bear's Way) and also a container of antipasto (nothing special to support the price) to take home. It was pre-made (which I can understand) and appropriately marked. Sadly my sandwich did not deliver the promised ingredients. First, this is roast beef, not brisket, although since it was quality meat I'm not quibbling about that. This sandwich is supposed to be standardly dressed with cracked pepper aioli (barely a schmear, like someone cleaned-off the knife on the bottom bun) and horseradish cheddar (omitted). The Bear's Way includes shredded lettuce, tomato, pickled red onions and signature spice blend. Alas, the onions and spices were also omitted leaving me with a rather bland sandwich (I ended-up doctoring w/my own condiments). Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the sandwich to include with this review; however, I want others to be forewarned to not accept a pre-made sandwich unless you are staying on-site to consume, as then you can take it back to be corrected. Looks like a nice place but obviously disappointed with the results of my inaugural visit as I'm feeling a bit ripped-off. read more

The food at Fivetown Grocery was amazing, and the service was even better! We had the pleasure of meeting Dawa and Lilly, both of whom far-exceeded our expectations. I used to work in hospitality, and have a keen sense for people who truly care about their guests. Dawa is hyper-focused on developing her staff to be the best they can be. She took the time to chat with us throughout our meal, listening to our experiences in Napa, and sharing with us some background of the property.
