    Avocado and Radish Bagel
    Courtney R.

Seriously the best bagel I've ever had. My husband and I were leaving bottlerock and stopped here for breakfast. I will now crave the avocado and radish and the whitefish bagel! Definitely coming back!

It was over $100 for 1 turkey sandwich, 1 lox bagel and 2 Ruben sandwiches (after tip). No drinks, no chips, just 4 sandwiches. I felt it was extremely expensive for what you get. There are so many other great food spots in the oxbow, unfortunately I highly doubt I would choose this one again.

We're a bagel family so we stopped by Loveski to grab breakfast. It's a Jew-ish (not Kosher) deli with a lot of our favorites. We ordered the smoked salmon sandwich on a sesame bagel and a tuna melt on a Yeast bagel. For sides, we ordered the latkes and a "tiny" size matzo ball soup. As the kind of person who loves the sides at Thanksgiving, its no surprise that I most enjoyed the latkes and the soup. The latkes had the perfect ratio of potato and onion, and they were fried so they had a crispy exterior and a fluffy, savory interior. They came with sour cream, plus applesauce if you ask for it. The soup had a flavorful chicken broth, well cooked diced vegetables, and one ample sized matzo ball. It was advertised as "tiny" but it was just right as a portion for one person. The smoked salmon was the better of the two bagels. It had a good amount of schmear, salmon, and all the toppings. The tuna was fine and we even liked the yeasty bagel, but it may have just been too much bread for a sandwich like that.

Service was friendly and prompt. It was a nice morning, and was quite peaceful for a Monday at 7:40ish and people just trickling in. I had the yeast bagel with salmon cream cheese. Pretty standard, but for the price, the bagel wasn't toasted and/or chewy. Maybe I'm missing something but it wasn't impressive for the price.

Best NorCal bagel so far I don't know why this only has 3.7 stars because I love this place. My dad loves coming to Oxbow early in the morning and getting this for breakfast. We normally come early enough that the line isn't big when we go, but I guess that might be the reason for the lower stars. The line does tend to get really long. I love ordering their smoked salmon because that is the quintessential bagel, and I love it every time. The everything bagel is soft, but has a good crunch. The salmon is flavorful, the cream cheese and dill with capers and onions are just the best combo. It's such a great breakfast. It's a nice quick bite in a market that tends to get really busy. So if you really wanna try this, the early bird gets the worm.

Everything Bagel with Herb Cream Cheese

I love me a good Jewish deli, especially one pumping out fresh bagels and cream cheese! Loveski did not disappoint! Located inside of the Oxbow Public Market, this little booth is serving up classic Jewish hits like house made pastrami, bagels, tuna and egg salad, and other hits. We preferred to just grab an everything bagel with some house made herb cream cheese on this visit. After a long wait for a bagel, hence the minus one star, we were able to dive in. What a treat! There is of course great people watching in the market as well which makes the ambiance fun and lively. Great spot!

Located inside of Oxbow Public Market, Loveki's Deli is definitely a nice addition to the selection of restaurants available there! Walk up to the counter to order, and find a seat at one of the tables they have available right in front of the food stall. As a first timer, I thought it was only right that we try one of their classic sandwiches! We got The Tribute that has pastrami on rye, coleslaw, Swiss, and Russian dressing. They give a generous portion of pastrami, which was tender and very tasty! A good mix of freshness and creaminess from the coleslaw and dressing! I enjoyed this one! I really loved their Mini Potato Latkes! I got an order of 5, and they were perfectly crispy and went great with the sour cream and apple sauce. Next time I'm definitely getting the order of 10, and I'm not sharing! Hehe. Wanted to try their bagels as well, so we got an everything bagel with their Miso Vegetable Cream Cheese that I thought sounded interesting! There are chunks of vegetables mixed in the cream cheese, and the miso flavor isn't too strong. If you order this combo as a bagel sandwich, it will also come topped with furikake. Will come back to try some more of their sandwiches and DEFINITELY get some more of those latkes!

Saw this place got voted best bagel in the Bay Area, some say it's the most representative of a NY bagel, so we had to come here to try. We had our doubts, but upon biting into the "famous yeast" version, we became believers. Slightly toasted, has a great chew, love the yeasty favor without being obscured by other seasoning. Wow, if we didn't get the last one we would've purchased more to take home.

Loveski's never ceases to amaze me. We always make it a point to stop by while in Napa, and this December was no exception! My husband got to eat a perfect sammie on his birthday this year thanks to Loveski's! He's a pastrami lover and we love that they added a simple pastrami sandwich to their menu (def try the Tradition). Pastrami on rye with a bit of Batampte mustard is the way to go! Simple and satisfying. Thankful for this little deli in Oxbow! Ps. The pickle is now included!

Delicious bagel! I LOVE a salt bagel and the herb cream cheese was *chefs kiss*! I wish I had tried a pickle but we did try the fries and they were just as good. Next time I'll try a sandwich and latkes.

    Smashed Chickpea Sandwich

Tucked away in the corner of the Oxbow Public Market, a Napa mainstay, is Loveski, a fresh deli addition to the food hall's offerings. By no means are their bagels comparable to those in New York, but while in a pinch, they can do the job and satisfy that craving. My friends ordered the sandwiches while I had the sesame bagel with smoked salmon spread. The smoked salmon was nominal but the cream cheese portion was pretty sizable. My friends' sandwiches, namely the smashed chickpea and the egg salad, looked pretty divine and every dish came with a salty pickle. No, not a slice, but the whole jawn. If you need a carb load before a day of vino indulgence, Loveski is a good option. I'd probably opt for Gott's my next time up though. Cant miss with a classic burger.

Pastrami sandwich, matzoh ball, soup, and salad!
    Linda W.

The pastrami was absolutely delicious and so is the oatmeal bread and the matzoh ball soup! But this review is mainly about Kayla. What an incredible employee they have in her! She was just so friendly, hospitable and extremely helpful! I had practically 1 million questions to ask about the food and she was just so patient and recommended a few different things and boy was she right! Thank you, Kayla, we loved our food, but I loved you! We will be back!

Living in NY has me spoilt for bagels, never looking for a bagel outside of NY. However on our recent trip to Napa, I was craving carbs to line up for all the wine tasting ahead. This place didn't disappoint, we got the everything bagel with yellow onion spread and poppy seed with herb spread. Both incredible. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quick breakfast spot.

This very popular counter service cafe is very popular for good reason. The food is amazing. I am so happy to we chose to go here while visiting Napa for a few days. It's worth visiting Napa just to go to Winston's in my humble opinion. The waits can be long to get in and order and maybe even long to get a table, but it's worth it. Also, this place is a great community establishment and helps out the local pet shelter to help find homes for dogs. They even have coloring pages with crayons of adoptable dogs at the Napa shelter. My wife and I ordered two breakfast places and two pastries on our visit. The salmon salad plate was our healthy plate, which was really tasty and fresh. The true standout for me is their pork Belly Loco Moco. I never seem to love a loco moco plate, but I like them. They are typically served with a beef patty. Let me just say that this is a perfect plate of food. The pork belly melts in your mouth and has a delicious hoisin sauce drizzled on it. The eggs and pickled veggies god great with the pork belly, but there is also this wonderful gravy on the plate which is like a chicken gravy. It's so ridiculously good. I can't say enough good things about this plate and how much it works together in balance and harmony. We also tried their toasted Coconut donut, which is a glazed yeast donut with toasted coconut flakes. It was very good! But the dessert standout was the chocolate pistachio muffin. This was so moist, buttery and rich with chocolate and nuttiness. So delicious! I also want to add that I love the ambiance of Winston's and its lovely decor. This is a real gem of a place!

Our table wasn't properly cleared , some dishes were removed before our food arrived, but the remaining ones weren't taken away until after, and the table was never wiped down between. As for the food, I'd give it a 3/5. The chorizo in my omelet was overly salty, not in a seasoned way, but genuinely too much to enjoy. The potatoes also tasted like they had been fried multiple times, possibly to reheat, which left them with an off flavor.

Upon arrival there is no one to help (or no one offered to help) with luggage. That would be ok I suppose but the two options to get into hotel were 2 flights of stairs or a long winding ramp that went down length of hotel and back. I only had one bag but my friend had a few and it was a hassle. We booked two queens and requested river view, however BUYER BEWARE none of the queen rooms view river. All of them face a parking lot. When we checked in we first went to the queen room and we had to go. For $600 a night to face a parking lot and on outskirts of downtown it was the same quality as a Best Western. I'll admit, I was a little worried before booking because of some of the reviews I had read. But after staying here, I can honestly say those concerns didn't match my experience at all. Whatever issues others may have had, they certainly weren't part of our stay. The location is hard to beat. Being right along the Napa River makes a huge difference. Morning coffee by the water with the walking path just steps away sets the tone for the whole day. It feels peaceful and tucked away, yet you're still within easy walking distance to downtown Napa's tasting rooms, restaurants, and shops. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable without feeling overly fancy or pretentious. The bed was great, the bathroom was well-appointed, and I appreciated the little details that made the stay feel thoughtful. If you can get a river-facing room, it's worth it. The outdoor spaces are really what make this place special. There's something about sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine, watching the river drift by, that just feels very "Napa." Service was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The staff really stood out -- especially the woman working in the café in the morning. She was warm, upbeat, and genuinely made the start of the day feel special. It's those small personal touches that elevate a stay from good to memorable. Another big plus: they offer free EV charging, which was a great perk and made the trip even more convenient. It's always nice to see properties thinking about sustainability and guest convenience at the same time. It also shares a parking lot with San Francisco's famous The Slanted Door, which makes grabbing an incredible meal ridiculously easy. Having that level of dining right next door is a huge bonus. If you're looking for a luxury mega-resort, this isn't that -- and that's a good thing. River Terrace Inn feels intimate, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Napa without being in the middle of chaos. Would absolutely stay here again.
