Possibly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with (Move over, Ai Sushi!). Bought a Groupon to get an oil change here. Double/triple checked the fine print: there were no time restrictions or any text about calling ahead. So I brave the horrific morning traffic to get out to Irving from Dallas, showing up around 8:35 A.M. (They open at 8 AM) Notice no other customers and I think to myself, "Yay, this will be quick and easy". I tell the mechanic that I want an oil change, and he says "You have to come back after 3 P.M. - especially if you bought a Groupon". As I checked the Groupon MULTIPLE times, I asked him why, pointing out there are no other customers here. He goes on to lecture me for almost 10 minutes, pointing out that 1) I should take it up with Groupon, 2) I should have called ahead 3) he has big repairs he has to do this morning/doesn't have time for oil change nonsense 4) he only gets $5 from Groupon to do the oil change 5) he only posts on Groupon for marketing purposes, and 6) how dare I come into his store shortly after they opened and ask for a service, and question him while he's eating his medicine. I don't know how much of what he said is true (if he really only gets 25% of the cut from the Groupon, that is not just and a huge middle finger to Groupon), but I know that is not how you treat a customer. First of all, if you're doing this for marketing purposes, well done. You've made a life-long customer in me. /s Second of all, an oil change will take you 10 minutes, tops. It's not going to make the difference between you finishing your larger repairs or not today. Third, there is nothing in the fine print that limited the hours I could redeem, nothing about calling ahead. If you're frustrated with not knowing how to edit your post with Groupon, please don't take it out on me. If you're frustrated by the cut you get from Groupon, don't take it out on me. If you're frustrated by your life, please don't take it out on me. I ended up exchanging the Groupon for another one - good riddance. There are hundreds of places to get oil changes in Dallas. I will NEVER come back to this place. read more

Easy place with friendly service. I needed an oil change and to replace a gas cap. Magic was his name? Anyway, he made a phone call and they were able to have a gas cap delivered then and there. No need to come back later. Another plus if you like Laos food is that Nalinh is within walking distance so there's no need to just sit in a lobby wasting your time. read more

I am updating my review as I noticed I was over charged due to the fact that the mechanic did did not charge me for the correct amount of oil. I brought in a Tundra 4.7 L which uses 6.6 quarts of oil and they charged me for 7 quarts. Their basic oil change only covers 4 quarts. Additional is charged at 3.99 a quart. They should be aware of this and probably did it on purpose. I feel stupid because I even gave him gratuity which I would never have knowing they stole from me. I will not be back because my husband doesn't mind getting his hands dirty and can change his own oil. I was just trying to do something nice for him because he works alot of hours. Original Review: They were kind of hard to find with GPS but look close- facing Irving Blvd in case you come the back way. They got me in pretty quick without appointment. Wrong/incomplete rack & pinion installation that led me to spend money on a rental car and to even drive around to four different places hoping to find someone else to fix THEIR poor job. After a week, they finished ("fixed") the job and this is how they returned the car to me. read more

Horrible customer service the big guy in the front literally told me to not come back because he did "free diagnostic" on my car and wanted me to get service done right then and there that's why he got mad probably to buck me because I'm a girl I told him I can pay for your diagnostic and he told me to not come back. Do not go on a Saturday if you are trying to get an oil change. Apparently they're only serviced past 3:00 PM. I stood and waited five minutes in an outdated dirty small lobby before anyone acknowledged me while they sparked their cigarettes. The building does not look like the pictures showing. It's crowded and full of older cars they are selling, leaving no room to park. I ended up leaving because I arrived at noon. read more

My car is an expensive car, and whenever I took it to a shop they were asking way too much just because I have this car, not because the repair is hard. However, when I spoke with Fix & Drive Auto Service, I was struck by the practicality of the customer service and their honesty. The shop customer service and communication throughout the whole process was excellent. They treated the car as if it was their own, and worked out a plan of repairing the mechanical damage which worked to fix my problem. Fast Service! They replaced all my brake pads in 1.5 hrs. and I made it to work on time! No appointments -first come; first serve. Purchased a groupon to give them a try... $170 is a good deal for brake pads all around, but groupon had a 20% off special so i saved an additional $34. As it turns out, if you go through the garage directly, it costs less than what groupon charges, but since i didn't pay the $170, i made out good! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I bought groupon to for one axle brake pad. They sold me front and rear brake pad once I showed up ( which is okay). But nightmare started after they touched my car for brake service. 8 visits to the store to fix the brakes. They eventually put new drums. I spent $400 on brakes. It never got fixed. I still have the noise in my brake ( that was the original issue I took the car for) . Save you money and time.. Take your car to somewhere else. read more

This is by far the best place to take your vehicle for repairs. I took my car here for brake repair and some engine work. The owner (Anus) is very honest and will give you a fair price on your repairs. I found out Groupon is higher than just going there directly for service. Especially for oil changes and brakes. More importantly, they stand behind their work and will warranty their work. For a great competitive price on auto repairs, I would not take my car anywhere else. read more

I came to Fix & Drive with a Groupon for brake service and was told the service would be even cheaper without it. Sure enough, I needed service on all my brakes, and had to shell out a little extra, although still cheaper than had I gone to my dealer where I would have spent almost $400. My car was on the lift for less than an hour and I walked away pretty stoked to have saved $200. I highly recommend this place - I will be back again for any auto service I need to have done.
