My windshield needed to be replaced...they actually took my oil change reminder sticker off my old windshield and applied it to my new windshield. Now THAT is attention to detail. A truck dropped a very large aluminum box on the 99 Southbound at 4 a.m. First a pickup hit it, then I hit it and another vehicle after me hit it. It damaged my entire front end, some things underneath that I couldn't see, driver's door, and passenger door driver's side. The folks at Fix Auto, checked the damage (all of it). When I first saw my car parked outside I thought it was someone else's. It looked better than my car. Conclusion: When Fix Auto was done, my car looked better than the day I bought it! When I got there, they explained everything in detail and even gave me a very close estimate on what my car repair would cost. The staff here was friendly and professional when dropping off my Corolla. With that said the quality of work was unsatisfactory, the trunk that should have gotten replaced was "fixed" and not everything lined up, there was a gap where the passenger rear quarter panel and trunk meets that was not sealed and rear tail light never went back to how it was before the accident. I took it back to get fixed for a second time and yes it looks a bit better but still not a very good job. Definitely won't be coming back here. read more

This was my first choice to go for an estimate for my truck. First off, I didn't know I had to have an appointment to get an estimate. Secondly, I wasn't sure what the damages would be so I didn't want to take out an insurance claim if I didn't have to. Basically, I was told that if I didn't want to go through my insurance then they couldn't help me. Who ever heard of such a thing? The next follow up question I should have been asked was if I would like to get an estimate in case I do want to go through my insurance? I felt very put off. Then he told me that as far as he knew, there was no one around that would give me an estimate without reporting to insurance. The very next place I went to gave me an estimate without an appointment and gave me the choice of paying out of pocket or reporting to my insurance. I reported it to my insurance. I only like to give 5 star reviews but this one still has me annoyed over a month later as it was 3/1/21 when I went in there. A little customer service goes a long ways! read more

The customer service experience was excellent and they happily updated me about the progress of my car. I was glad to see these updates due to the anticipation of my car being ready. Fix Auto Modesto was listed in the list of repair shops given to me by my insurance company. After looking at the different reviews on Yelp, I decided to choose them to repair my car. I received a call back from Fix Auto's corporate office to schedule an appointment within 30 minutes. I explained my car would need to be towed as I couldn't drive it after the wreck. The lady on the phone said that would be fine just have it towed over as soon as I was ready. I said I would do so first thing the next morning. I felt good about the call and thought I'd had everything in place, but that wasn't the case at all. Approximately four hours later, another lady from Fix Auto Modesto called to tell me that they would not even be able to look at my car until February. That's more then 2 months away. Totally unacceptable. This was extremely frustrating as I'd already made all of the arrangements with my insurance company after the first call earlier that morning. I had to call my insurance company back and try to undo all the towing arrangements, documents I had signed, etc. When the manager, Krish, found out what had happened to me, he was quick to call and apologize. He did his best to try and resolve all of these issues. He arranged for the tow truck to come and get my car and said he would make sure my car was evaluated that same day! Thank you, Krish, for turning this situation around. I'm very pleased and would come back should I ever need my car repaired again. read more

Took my car in today to get the bumper fixed, it was a minor repair since the clips had come off. Bobby was very courteous and fixed it right away. He was gracious enough not to charge me a single penny. He also advised me that in the future if the problem recurs then he would have to disassemble the bumper and he would have to charge me for that. Very disappointed. Picked up my car about 2 weeks ago, and noticed around two days later, that my cars paint was chipped on my front bumper. It was close to the bottom right corner, along with the majority of the bumper being damaged from the bottom as well. It looks, as if someone had drove the car over something. I am absolutely sure that this damage wasn't there, before I had dropped my car off. I just wish that when I had picked my car up from this place, that I would have checked my entire car carefully, instead of just paying attention to the part of the car, that they had repaired. Lesson learned on my part. This was the first time, that I had ever even needed to go to a car repair shop myself, therefore I wasn't aware that unethical things like this could happen. I didn't go back to question them, because I highly doubt they are going to take responsibility for it. (Since it somehow occurred while they had it, and they didn't even bother fixing it.) I didn't even initially think there was a point to write a review, however I thought I should so that other customers are aware. (On top of it, my entire deductible wasn't waived; as I was led to believe it could be. Which was the only reason, that I had went to them in the first place.) read more
